thank you Bergdorf Googman, you are one amazing company to have let all those furry ones run through your shop, bless you and may you have a wonderful Christmas
my goodness...what a heart warming effort by Bergdorf Goodman. I can't get enough of these adorable little pups. I think I'm going to adopt a dog just so that he can go shopping for me at BG -- 5F, please..and maybe also Chanel :)
This would be a cute ad if BG didn't sell fur. When the dog at 2:20 was considering a fur ensemble, was he thinking, "Hey, that kinda looks like me?" If Bergdorf Goodman really wanted to help canines in need, they would stop selling their fur.
Bergdorf sells Raccoon Dog and Coyote fur which are both canine. But let's pretend they all lived a happy life and died a painless death. Let's pretend that caged animals on a fur farms do not go insane from confinement, do not have maggots eating untreated injuries, do not get gassed or have their necks snapped. Let's also pretend animals caught in traps do not spend hours or days breaking their own bones and teeth trying to escape, dying slowly of starvation or dehydration, shot or bludgeoned.
I wonder what these doggies would think if they saw their slaughtered brothers and sisters in the Fur Vault at Bergdorff's? No such a nice holiday message and all for vanity and greed.
I second WannaBeKitsch and TheDiscerningBrute. Here, here. Go faux. Fur is f***ed. Love ya, BG, but your heart and head should catch up to your capitalist drive. You can say it's your customers to whom you wish to cater, which is all fine and good, but skip the skins. Do not bend over backwards for fur fans at the expense of innocent lives. The pain and suffering endured by animals used for fur and exotic skins is immeasurable and never EVER humane or acceptable. Face facts. Make the connection.
This video is beautiful and the music complements it perfectly!!!
I watch this over and over again because my dog is the star...LOL...he's messy, and adorable!!!

One of the only "fashion films" that I actually like: nice production values and has a story arc. I wish I produced it.

awwwww!
that was the best fucking commercial ever made :')
@stephendimmick I was thinking the same thing-- more than half of the 'special gifts' were made of animal or tested on animals :-(
My Emma looks just like the star dog in this movie.
@mikeduplantier Edvard Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King" from "Peer Gynt". I did all the woodwinds for this recording.
I shop here everday... jk!
Don’t be surprised when they chew up the Hermès scarves

May every fur baby find a "furever" home......
Those poor cleaners...

No big deal. Just collecting items for their Korean gourmet customers.
Too cute but please STOP supporting animal cruelty by supplying fur.
