Yeah, she is a vocal beast but she can go clean and sound great too. Her brother is very much a entertaining drummer to watch.
Daughtry - Separate Ways ft. Lzzy Hale
As a 53 year old that been listening to rock/metal since the early 80s Lzzy is the only singer to give me chills. For a band that tours nonstop she is amazing. She has many collaborations and they do great covers as well. Her voice is made for rock!

Other songs of theirs to check out would be Familiar taste of Poison, an early softer sounding release, with a really cool music video, and Back From The Dead a hard rocker, and fairly recent release, the video of which has a call back to the video for Familiar Taste of Poison.
As far as collaborations you should check out Shatter Me by Lindsey Sterling with vocals by Lzzy. This has a really interesting video, but there is also a live performance for SirusFM which is worth checking out.
The drummer is Arejay, Lzzy's brother. When Halestorm toured with The Warning Arejay sat in on drums at a couple of shows so Pau could get out front and sing Narcisista while roaming the stage.
Familiar taste of poison. When I first heard that song, it ended up on repeat for a few months full blast every time I drove without kids in the car

As posted earlier she has done a lot. My favorite is Break in with Amy Lee from Evanescence.
Halestorm as a whole are awesome, but Lzzy is absolutely next level. She's done a ton of collabs with other artists over the years because she's that damn good. Lzzy has done collabs with everyone from Amy Lee of Evanescence to the country star Eric Church to most recently Daughtry's cover of Separate Ways. Honestly, the only minor complaint I can think of when it comes to Halestorm is that a lot of their songs are in the standard "rock" format....but they're such a good band it doesn't bother me at all. My go to suggestion for Halestorm is the live performance of "Wicked Ways" on their official channel.
If a cover of Journey's "Separate Ways" interests you, I'd tell you to check out the cover of that song by the band Eva Under Fire over the Daughtry version. The Daughtry version with Lzzy is good, but the version by Eva Under Fire is legit great.
"Chemicals" is a really fun one off of their more experimental album (Vicious), they have an acoustic video of the band playing it that is wonderful. Honestly though, I think you'd enjoy about anything of theirs! Their first few albums were more formulaic, but some of their newer stuff (Vicious onward) I feel is more true to their own style.
(They actually scrapped the original songs on the album and completely redid it because Lzzy felt they'd written them to make others happy vs themselves. I love when artists recognize this and look to stay true to their own vision!)
I actually wonder if she was a bit ill here, her voice sounded a bit thicker than usual, usually it doesn't sound like she's even trying hard to get that rasp and she often has a high pitch flip/crack at the top of her harsh vocals. She has to be the number one Rock female vocalist right now. I know there are many metal vocalists that go full false chord scream, but she has that rare ability to sing through her grit. I've always been drawn to that kind of female voice. Like Janis Joplin, Brody Dalle or even Tina turner. A great mix of power and rasp. You can see that 'Dani' from 'The Warning' added a bit of extra grit to her voice after touring with Halestorm, I'm guessing she got given a few helpful tips.
The drummer is 'Arejay Hale', Lzzy's brother. There are some videos of him playing the drums for the Warning when they toured together, he would get on the drums and Pau would go out front, it's amazing he managed to even squeeze in behind her kit, as she is 5ft and he is a foot taller. Unfortunately in all the videos Pau's vocals are really low in the mix. This is probably the best video that i have seen. ruclips.net/video/H1P6xuMIcwY/видео.html
