I am confused regarding the appropriateness of routine for juvenile, junior, amateur and youth.i hope to see videos regarding this topic to enlighten us what appropriate routine should we teach to our students for juvenile, junior, youth and amateur.thank you so much sir
Thank you, Egils! Another beautiful and instructional routine. It helps me to add figures together in different ways. The summary with the times and the figures is also very helpful.
Hi sir.very nice instructional video.very helpful.hope to see more videos.sir can i use this routine for juvenile?is this routine more apporpriate to juvenile or junior?thank you so much sir..
@@EgilsSmagris Yes, I do.. I like to dance and in another dance video (Rumba) I like the steps for the "Rumba Basic to Open Hip Twist".. The turn as change in places I like very much.. we didn't learn that on our dance course but I like that very much! Thanks again (also for this move ruclips.net/video/3Dt2AeE4804/видео.html).
Thanks for the video. May I have your opinion about height problem in Waltz? Me and my partner difference around 18cm. Some friends in my dance studio say this huge difference will be challenging to us. Is it true that Dancer with same height can dance better than us?
Thanks for your question. Height difference influences two things. Leg height difference influences steps and shoulder height difference influences frame.
I suggest that Mans right arm from elbow to wrist must be downwards, because Ladys left armpit and shoulder-blade is lower. Lady should keep elbows on same level as shoulders for obvious reasons.
@@EgilsSmagris Certainly am Egils! Only been learning for 12 months and disrupted now by Covid -19 but pleased to have got to basic standard in seven dances. Thanks again. David
Thanks Aaron for your comment. Starting Foot depends on which figure you dance first. If we start with Natural figure forward (example Natural Turn) then Man starts with Right Foot forward.
@@EgilsSmagris Then how do you explain the simple rule of dancing: no two consecutive steps on the same foot? I saw after you finished your right foot (or left foot), you continued with the same foot. How did you expect your partner to follow correctly without stepping on you foot? Or you without tripping?
阿阮Aaron thats good question. You are talking about figure called Hesitation Change (or Natural Turn with Hesitation). Man here doesn’t transfer weight on count 3, but closes foot without weight. Lady will feel that and correspond accordingly. In this particular figure there is no rise on counts 2,3 - this also indicates that this is not “normal” Natural Turn. Hope it explains Hesitation.

Thanks Keven for appreciating this video. This waltz routine is suitable for juvenile, junior and youth age groups, because there are basic figures described in dance technique books.
01:06 Natural Turn, Natural Spin Turn
04:43 Steps 4-6 of Reverse Turn, Whisk turned to Left, Weave
09:15 Hesitation Change, Progressive Change to Right, Outside Change
13:07 Waltz Basic Routine in Slow Motion
14:55 Waltz Basic Routine to Music
The text at the bottom calling out each step and timing in the first bit made it easy to follow. Thank you

@@EgilsSmagris Thanks for the reply. We have height difference in shoulder. What must we do or practice to get better frame with this difference?

@@EgilsSmagris thx for the tips. I'll try with my partner.
Dear Egils. What is the title of the music that you are dancing to on this video please? Many thanks

The startling foot, while man is on the left, women are on the right, why did they changed to the opposite?
The steps that follows were all wrong.
