This vid was incredibly helpful, I can't believe it's free!
One tip tho, on Pro-Q 3 you have the option to show a keyboard at the bottom which means you won't have to use the chart when EQing or finding the right note frequency for the tail of the kick.
Another tip, kick 2 actually has the note divisions built into the visual display 1.1.2 being 1/16th and 1.1.3 being 1/8th so the maths is not necessary :)
Great video will have my eye out for more future content, in depth videos like this are hard to come by on RUclips.

I just applied these principles to my kick and bass. This is collection of many subtle differences but the output is immensely improved. The sounds come out so much close to professional already.

Do you know where I could find a video or information about using a kick on a different key, and to try reinforce the 2nd 16th as you would if using a kick on the same key as the bass. You mentioned in the video that you would cover that in another one.

Great video! using the SNAP function on kick 2 will keep the notes nodes locked to the frequency chart automatically.

Very good video on the topic, well structured and explained. Thank you. I just get a little frustrated with how technical and surgical everything is becoming and how little musical fun is left of it. Started with this to make music and ended up calculating formulas...
Ho Michael and thanx for your comment !.Yes i do understand what you are mean and i do agree that a lot of times the over-scientific side of music production takes away the magic and fun of the musical part of it .On the other hand though its within these levels of detail that most artist will eventually have to go to in order to make a difference in the professional world.
I would love to see a tutorial on your methods of sound design for bass in serum and how you use EQ and compression to get a clean bass note

now i understand why its so important to allign the kick with the baseline on phase in the last 2 notes. because this notes will cancel each other out if they overlap. so i guess the other notes are not soo important but this low end man you really want to allign it
