Your house, your rules. Get rid of toxic people asap. My daughter-in-law was a user, and once I stopped helping financially she used my grandbaby to hurt me, but what she expected wasn't what she saw. Once we fell off, she said: "Well if you don't want to help, then I'll move my baby and your son to Utah!" To that I said: "That sounds great! I'll help with the move, when do you guys leave?" They left, my son divorced her and my grandbaby is still in my life.😅😂

Yup. Since she was finally leaving after almost a decade overdue, they agreed to everything she wanted to be free of her after the wedding.
Unfortunately even if the wedding succeeded, she'd be back coz I don't think anyone can live long-term with that woman.
They didn't let her mature enough to be able to live without them. They'll probably be stuck with her for a long time.

How can you have a wedding at someone’s house but put forth the stipulation that the homeowner can’t attend? If it’s their house, you don’t get to keep them out of their own home. That’s a dumb premise from the beginning. When dumb dumb asked if her parents sent me an invitation, the correct response was they didn’t need to. It’s my house. Nothing happens here without my presence.

It is OP's house and property. It is her decision alone as to whether someone can use her house and property. SIL and in laws both lied and committed to SIL's fiancé and his parents that they were using OP's house and property without first getting permission from OP or even mentioning that they did not own it. What complete and total morons! Especially with a pool, having a wedding at a property with a pool is a potential huge financial liability. If someone was injured or died on the property (especially relevant due to the pool and alcohol being served during the wedding), OP could have ended up being sued for millions.
The in laws used emotional blackmail to try to get OP to agree. "Our reputation depends on this!"
Then SIL had the audacity to not even invite OP to the wedding in OP's own house. "I don't want her at my wedding!" What a total brat! Because it is a private home, I would not allow someone to use my property for something as messy and potentially destructure and also a major legal liability (especially with a pool) as a wedding if I am not present.
I do not blame OP for changing the locks and telling the wedding planner that the "venue" could not be used any longer and to find another venue. Bratty SIL lost her venue because of her own behavior.
Her fiancé finally realized what a huge mistake he had made in getting engaged to SIL when he found out the truth about the property ownership and what SIL had done. Life lesson for everyone: do not lie to a banker.

I would have requested that the in laws pay for short term liability insurance on my property for 3 million dollars as a condition for using the property for the wedding.
I use to drive seniors (elderly) for Catholic Charities when I was younger. I had to carry as a driver and owner of the car $1.5 million liability insurance on my car. This was decades ago. We still carry that much liability insurance on our cars. My husband decided it was a good precaution.

It is footage from a video game. It bothers me too (I have one medical issue), but I am trying very hard to ignore the moving video background because I like the content from Reddit.
Because this is presented as a video, they have to find video content to use as background on the video. They can either pay for video background (which ups the cost of making the video) or in some cases like this, they record video from playing a video game and use it as background. If you own the video game, it is an inexpensive way of coming up with a video background. They could also just record some video using their phone from a hike in a park or something like that. Or record a video of ducks swimming in a lake or something similar. This channel owner obviously likes video games. So people like me just have to endure it. I am going to limit myself to one video with a game background per day.
(I need to take a pain reliever cuz my head already hurts. I have had migraines since I was 18. My son has had them since he was 7. I really feel bad for him inheriting migraine tendency from me! Yes, they are genetic. I cannot take rx triptans, which work really well, any more because of other medication interactions. )

I think it is also bad for people with epilepsy. It can trigger a seizure.

@rollothecat2010 yes it can trigger migraines, vertigo symptoms and possibly seizures 😢
My guess is that people who don't suffer from those conditions just aren't aware of how much footage like this can adversely affect lots of folks.

Are there some people like that, I mean the SIL? Maybe okay to use someone else house but claiming it your own to impress is NOT. What will happen when eventually the truth comes out? Starting your married life full of lies is a NO-NO. It's a foundation of a failed marriage.

Why not skip over the back story here, and focus on the immediate problem. Tell her quite simply that she must find another venue. You don't want to be seen as a witch on the wedding day--you'll come off really badly if everyone arrives and the door is locked. Instead, tell her you don't feel comfortable with the present arrangement. After all, what are your legal liabilities? What if someone drowns in your pool? And what if one of her guests gets drunk and crashes on the way back home? There are plenty of states that would find you liable because your guests went off inebriated.

Just overnight, SIL would go through OPs belongings to find the deed / title, then somehow transfer it to herself as the new owner.
Also SIL can put their family pictures in the hall so they can claim to the cops that they own it.
Removing OPs pictures might be a start for the house takeover.

A wedding based on lies is like a castle built on a swamp: it will sink sooner of later, but for sure it will sink.
As for the "reputation" card, what the in-laws think will happen when truth will finally be discovered? Did they think OP will always leave her house on every SIL demand just to cover their deceit? So entitled.
Huge cheer for the husband tough for respecting wife's POV against his own family. That is commitment. Happy life for them both.
