What counts as a sword? An item that deals melee damage or an object shaped like a sword, knife, etc? Also title was lying, it should say "Randomly Generated Droids no-hit except I can't use swords for combat".
make sure when you attack, you walk backwards while lunging (unless slasher sword) and shake your screen side to side quickly in shiftlock to get the most damage from a lunge. If the enemy is too slow compared to you, you can also circle around it or move side to side to let the droid catch up to you while staying in your attack range. If it is too fast, use a ranged while on a high surface. Use a ranged on a xero droid to aggro them, since that are always 2 walkspeed lower than you, and don’t chase you until they are hurt. Jumppower is very important for droids hq to avoid the laser timer, unless you have laser sword. If you can jump over the lasers, use a ranged to kill the droid behind the laser, because you may accidentally trip the laser while attacking the droid. Walkspeed is great for droids because some may have a pretty high walkspeed and will deal massive damage if you are too slow. Walkspeed is also very good to the darkness since most droids there have very high walkspeed and dangerous contact damage. Those are just a few tips for solo play.
you can skip over the droid hq lasers by spam jumping while throwing infiniballs at your feet

pretty sure you can also jump on the side walls to skip the lasers, only works if you have 75-80 jp (i forgot the exact amount)

I unlucky for smth ranged, I started my first a15 and I got NO RANGED weapons at all time. And at other runs I getting only 1 or 2 and only at start

@@Keremdurak-u5z it won't work as well in later ascensions since anything past ascension 8 is 30% more expensive, including ranged weapons
