      Because it is much better to change this presser foot for the top-stich. Merci beaucoup😁😁

    What's the purpose of da white strip,when sewing the cuff closed❓🤔

    • @ateliersaison
      @ateliersaison  Год назад +1

      This white strip is a "PP strap" that is plastic strapping band and often used for packing work. This is in order not to slide while sewing (sewing gap). When the thickness of the fabric is different, the pressure of the presser foot and the feed dog are not stable. Putting this tape means adding the height. Without it, it will be difficult to stitch stably in areas where there are many overlapping pieces of fabric. This is also useful for straight guide line. Thank you.

    Hi. Thanks for the videos. I have Juki 5550 too but mine is really fast. I see that you can do stitch by stitch with your machine. How do you do that?

    • @ateliersaison

      They are very used to handling sewing machines. Thank you.

      I have a Juki 5550 too, it has a button with "rabbit" icon which stay on the top you can move it to left and make it run slow much as you can.

    Thank you for the video! Why the white tape is needed? 9:20

      This tape (hard interfacing) is in order not to slide while sewing. When the thickness of the fabric is different, the pressure of the presser foot and the feed dog are not stable. Putting this tape means adding the height, this is very useful. Thank you so much for your comment😁😁

    ピンを使われない理由が知りたいです!

    • @ateliersaison
      @ateliersaison  4 года назад +1

      合印を合わせながら縫えばピンを必要としないことがほとんどです。難しい箇所(パンツのウエストベルトの閉じなど)はもちろん使用します。
