why are people here blindly following this without any Quran evidence. Forbidding prayer during the day for certain times seems like shaytans bidding for people to pray less. The only times Allah has forbidden prayer is when it is an inconvenience or painful, like during travel or during period for women
It was great that you are inquisitive on this brother. However, the common logic suggests that this is not allowed as well. We need to avoid these times with our Sujuud.
Can someone explain to me why sunrise and sunset is bad on your culture? I was taught in my culture we have to offer up tobacco and give blessings and thanks during sunrise and sunset. Because those two times are the only times the creator allowed the spirits to travel to n from the spirit world. Guess like a door open up during those times. Y'all fast like we do. Except we fast 3 or 4 days strait no water or food. Up on a mountain. After the 3rd or 4th day the creator will show you something or give you some spiritual gift to help the people. Reminds me of Moses when he went up the MTN to talk to God.

N when I pray I outside under the stars or under the sky. I'll touch my hair on the tree that I pray with and the ground so my hair touches the earth. Lets say if it's sunset at your place. Somewhere else it's morning or afternoon. So please explain to me how is it possible for me and not for others, living in other areas of the world. And even if happens to them then we should assume that devil's horns are always 24/7 covering the sun. Which does not makes sense, right? So please help me grasp this concept. It's been mindboggling me for a long time. JazakAllah.

Previously the sun worshippers used to prostate to the sun (on sunset and sunrise) and the devils used to laugh at their stupidity. The same image happens when one photographs the sun inside his own hand. Hope that answers your question.
Hi i dont know if anyone will answer but i am very curious about being muslim but i am a little nervous. See i am hispanic dominican to be exact but born in america , i know there are hispanic muslims as well but my entire family always been into the catholic religion which i always been a little skeptical to. After my research i always come to the conclusion that muslims follow the correct way and after all the Quran is still in its pure form, that to me alone says alot. How do i go about this ? And i also have a weed addiction that im slowly trying to control at the moment. @Brian all answers are in the Holy Quran. Ask noone. Read the Quran and pray, all the bad things will go away, but first you need patience until you get that point. Be persistent and patient.
It's always better to avoid asking people of limited/corrupted knowledge, however if you find reliable people with decent knowledge, you might come across more clarity and deeper understanding. @marina is correct in mentioning that, if you can directly study the meaning of the Qur'an with absolute conviction and dedication, it is sufficient enough to guide you to the right path.

If that's Fajr, we cant. If that's Zuhr, we can't. But Asr is the only exception due to the below Hadith. So we can pray Asr Prayer of that day.

Sure, why not. Only Sujud is restricted at these times.
