FICUS TRIANGULARIS, WHAT I DON'T LIKE 😔

I mean don't get me wrong, it is a pretty plant, but I want a plant that makes me feel good all year, NOT 6 months of sadness, since here in Ontario winter is longer. I had a regular ficus before and it never dropped it's leaves, that's why I never expected this plant to drop it's leaves, oh well I learn and we learn together. Like I said in the past, I'm not a professional.
