If you watch one video about the heartache of living with Parkinson's but the strong family bonds it creates then THIS is a must! Compelling and heartbreaking at the same time
Christine, your documentary is so moving and touched me deeply. Its amazing to see the lengths family will go through to help their loved one. It is sobering to see the sacrifices made by those who don’t have the financial means. This story is an inspirational and reinforces how important it is to raise awareness of the needs of people suffering from Parkinson’s disease.
What a beautiful family. Rosita and the whole family are truly inspirational. I pray that more people in Peru and all over the world will learn about Parkinson's through documentaries like this, and that a cure will be found very soon. Thank you for sharing their story.
Christine, you did an awesome job putting this all together. As Miriam said, this was very moving and also touched me deeply. I am sure that there are many stories around the world that are similar to this story. Most everyone cannot see the suffering that happens mainly because everyone is busy with their lives. But if we bring awareness of Parkinson's out to the forefront then hopefully people will react and help those in need. Again....you did an awesome job. Very inspirational and motivating for me as I am sure will also be for others. Thank you!
Bravo CJ! This perspective has been lacking and is closer to the reality of most of the planet. We don’t know how lucky we are to have access to such things through our healthcare. We take so much for granted. Thank you thank you thank you for this work of empathy and compassion!
Thank-you Kathleen ;-) I appreciate your kind comments. It was a huge effort for a non professional and I hope it reaches people who have the will to change things and or means to improve care and force the urgent funding of a cure.
Very inspiring. These are children who genuinely love their mother. They are so right health is more important than material things. Being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease 4 years ago I know first hand how cruel this disease is l am actually a prisoner inside my house. I pray that there will be a cure soon. One that's affordable.
It is very common in India. Here you can find many loving parents and some devoted children selling every thing including their valuable items for the sake of their loved ones/ for their good health/ future.
So sad to hear. I've read about Indian health care. I'm told that here too with Covid even things like this are happening and sadly the rich get richer! I've had one or two people interested to help. May more step up.
Thankyou you everyone for your lovely comments. Please help this be seen by people who can help support us get a cure and provide better treatment for Parkinson's all around the world. Please share, like and send it to leaders and friends alike. Join pdAvengers today: www.pdavengers.com/
