- Welcome to Living it Country! Today is another day to the Spring Home Tour Series! The month of April we will be sharing 13 beautiful homes to get you all inspiration on decorating ideas, thrift finds, styling and even DIY projects. This series is not meant to make you want to go shopping, but in hopes it can get you inspired with things to diy in your home, switch things around and just to truly fall in love with your home again!

So happy to see a home described as being "teeny tiny" actually coming through lol!!! I am always looking for small home decor inspiration and usually quite disappointed by the real size. My home is really tiny and being on Cape Cod, cottage life is what we mostly know here. This one is really good!!

Designers are always talking about creating a feeling, asking how do you want to feel in your space and I have to say this home is such a perfect example of having created such a wonderful feeling of home. Love all your antiques! Love the old dinner buckets, makes me think of my coal miner Daddy! Mom always packed his bucket before he left for work! Just seeing your house in June of 2022 and I think it's beautiful!! It's so cozy and sweet. So sorry you have your Dad's ashes but so sweet of you to share something so personal with the rest of us. I have my beautiful daughter's ashes right beside the ashes of the sweetest dog I've ever known. You sound so sweet and your house is precious. You are a fitting legacy for your father. I adore the cozy feel of this home. You had me at the very beginning with that delightful porch, and then you reveal the shiplap and the drop cloth curtains. My heart continues to sing. If forced to select a favorite, I must select the window located at the end of your galley kitchen. It seems to punctuate that space.

I love the fact that it is really an old farmhouse with antiques instead of new thing's made to look old. And a house full of new sign's about a farmhouse.
Don't get me wrong, I love the sign's but there shouldn't be an overload of them to say that is what it is. The real antiques do the best job at that even if it's a new home.

Wow! So cozy. Some people really have the knack. Wish she could come help me decorate my 103 yr old home. I am doing my first stab at decorating for the period and locale in which it was built. Slow going, then I see clips like this.

Love the way the dish towels are on the oven door. The cloche with the bingo card adorable! Ingenious use of the flash cards. Who wouldn’t love that view from the screened in porch with the sounds of nature. I like how simply the Rae Dunn is incorporated without it looking like a Dunn hoard. Sweet home.❤️
