I am usually a "lurker". I watch. Sometimes I subscribe. But very seldom comment. Today, I am commenting. You are amazing. I love how soft-spoken you are. I love how you take very inexspenive items, put them together and make them look like you should charge $30 for them. I've seen MANY videos. You are so true, sweet, talented, and inspiring. I've seen your 5 year old videos and your 3 day old videos. You personally have not changed. You still want your viewers to have the best information and best instructions. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how you teach, show, share, and even chuckle at your "oopses". Thank you so much for inspiring ideas in me. I go stale on ideas at times. All I have to do is watch you and I get new ideas on how to use my own stash of stuff. I have never duplicated anything you have created before. But THIS project has me wanting to finally go buy glass glitter and confetti glitter. Thank you again. Not only for your great tutorials but your great inspiration. I pray you continue to inspire and teach for a very long time. God bless you. Sincerely, Your silent friend Kellyann
Awwww! Thank you so much Kellyann for your heartfelt, sweet comment! You made my night! LOL! Yes, you have to buy some glass glitter! It truly is wonderful and add sooo much to your projects. Hugs to you Hun and many thanks for taking the time to post such a lovely comment! God bless you back!
This is lovely. When I need to press down a spoon-shape, I often use an identical spoon to save my fingers. Can’t wait to try this ornament! Thanks so much for sharing.
I absolutely love both of these icy spoons ornaments. I think that both sizes of spoons would compliment anyone's tree. I also liked the suggestion of using another spoon to press the glitter in. Keeps your fingers from touching the glitter
I am one that admires you and I am pretty sure you have lots more lined up admiring your lovely crafts. Especially how you teach us with your gentle voice. God bless you with so much patience and talent we love you we thank God that we have you as a friend. God bless you and always.
You really are the queen of all things glittery!!No one makes beautiful shiny things like you do. I love watching your tutorials, I like the way you explain each step clearly. I couldn't believe that these were made from spoons! Thank you so much for sharing.
Your ornament is georgeous. I enjoyed watching it so very much. I was already looking forward to see your craft for this week. You are teaching us how to make so many beautiful things. Thank you and God bless you my friend. I hope you have a wonderful day.
OMG!!!!! This is so gorgeous!!! The both are amazing, I'm happy with the results too!!! I need to get me some of this triple thick stuff. Perfect choice on the cross! Another amazing project. Thank you for sharing ma'am!!
Your items are so beautiful and delicate. I love listening to you as your voice is very relaxing. Thank you for sharing all your beautiful crafts with us. Hugs from the UK xxx
It's amazing what you do with different items. These spoons are gorgeous. I am watching your videos and trying to decide which ones I want to use as gifts and the answer is All of them. Mary
Absolutely stunning! Your work is always impeccable and your videos are clear and so relaxing to listen to. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to share your wonderful creations with us. You are a crafting angel.
I really love this ornament ! you never fail to amaze me with your beautiful crafty talent, and you share them with all of us ! thank you , can't wait to see more
These are just so pretty , I have some of the doves AND the snowmen,so I need to find me some spoons, probably in the poundshop, they have that sort of thing in there,I want to make some of these for my tree. Thanks for sharing, lots of love and BIG crafty hugs xx
I'm a new subscriber and you're very inspiring. I'm going to try and make a faberge style egg made out of a polystyrene egg. It will be a humble egg as I don't have that much blingy stuff. But I'll give it a go. 😀
Thank you again and yes I watched Rosa's video and I made some spoons. I think they are lovely and I would like to sell, but I am not sure how much to charge.
Hi, Ms Lori❣️I can’t seem to find the link for the doves. I have MS so it could just be me. Do you think you can help me. I rewatch your videos often. Your voice is so soothing it relaxes me while inspiring me. Thank you❣️
This is beautiful! I am going to go out to DT today and get myself some spoons, and give it a try! :) I already have invested in some German glass glitter and some Triple Thick... lol! Thank you for sharing this video! (and you STILL blow me away with how much you sound like my friend Gayle! LO)
Awe Happy Bird, you make my heart happy seeing you use the nativity and cross in your Christmas crafts! I look forward to more of these! I wonder if in the spoon part it could be made to look like a manger? Where could one find resin pieces of the Holy family to fit? Thank you so much for all of your tutorials!
Thank you so much June! I'm thinking that maybe the nativity set from "Dress it up" buttons may fit. I'd have to measure it to be sure. You can find the buttons at stores like Walmart or Michael's. :)
Hi. I just discovered your channel. You are awesome & so talented.😍. I wanted your finishing pliers but it’s unavailable everywhere I look , I am new to this so I was wondering if you could recommend a substitute. Thanks
I have been watching so many of your videos over the past several weeks, and find all of them informative, and so many items I want to try and make. I especially love these spoon ornaments and will give them a try. Lori, did you put the glitters on the back of the spoon ornament, or just the front? It looks like the back wouldn't need it, since you can see the glitter through the clear spoon, but wanted to ask to be sure.
@@HappyBirdsGlitterNest Thank's for the quick response Lori. I have everything I need, so going to start making these tonight. I just made your Winter Wonderland Memory Bracelet last night, and love it. Thanks again for posting your video lessons for us.
I absolutely love your channel! You have inspired me to try and look at things differently and how I can turn an ordinary object into something fabulous like you did with the spoons!!! I have a question. I was going to order the triple thick but I also see you use the mod podge. Do I need both or do they both do basically the same thing? The mod podge is cheaper but I want to make sure it works the same as the triple thick. Thank you in advance for your help and thank you for sharing all of your amazing and beautiful crafts!!!!
Thank you for your wonderful comment Sweetie! Yes, I like both products, however, Triple Thick would be best for this spoon ornament because it's thicker and holds onto the glass glitter much better because of this.
Hi Nancy, I'm so sorry about missing that part in my video I glued on two glue-on bails at the top and bottom of the spoon. I used E6000 with a tiny dot of hot glue in the middle.

Just beautiful , can I ask if you can use 21mm bails as I have quite a few of them . Thank you for yet again a wonderful tutorial.
Those are pretty small bails Hun. I went with the larger bails so it would hold better (allows for more glue) since there is more bling on this spoon.
Thank you , I shall order 26mm ones.
Bellissimo come ogni cosa che fai...💗bravaa

Thank you so much for watching Sweetie! I left the back of the spoons alone because I thought it might look too "bulky" with glitter on the back. :o)

Hello love your videos.
How did you or should I say what did you use to glue or keep the bails on
What is the silver around it that you said is welded on?? It is so pretty. Thank you for your videos.
