    Nice restoration ! If it were mine I would use a wet/dry sandpaper to take off the surface rust, then apply some tsubaki oil on those carbon steel blades every once in a while to prevent any further rusting.
    Just a thought. Keep making these great videos. 😀

    You did right by leaving those blades alone. Simply looks better than mirror polished. No need to attempt to erase its history.

      For sharpening on a stone? I have never used one. Never saw the point. I have been sharpening freehand long enough not to need one. Why do you think I need one?

    Thats Case 63032 medium stockman. Thats my favorite pattern.

    Is that a 3 5/8 medium Stockman? The large come in 3 7/8 and 4 1/2 inches.

      Yeah this isn't a large stockman for sure looks like a medium

    Looks a lot better Mark! You did good. As a worker, I wouldn't bother polishing the blades either. I don't blame you there.
