Nice restoration ! If it were mine I would use a wet/dry sandpaper to take off the surface rust, then apply some tsubaki oil on those carbon steel blades every once in a while to prevent any further rusting. Just a thought. Keep making these great videos. 😀
For sharpening on a stone? I have never used one. Never saw the point. I have been sharpening freehand long enough not to need one. Why do you think I need one?

So glad you enjoyed it! Check out some of my older videos in your videos and I think you’ll enjoy those!
great job buddy 👍
You did right by leaving those blades alone. Simply looks better than mirror polished. No need to attempt to erase its history.
why do you not have a plastic pyramid angle guide ?

Nice job on the Stockman and why ruin a nice patina when you're going to use it.
Thats Case 63032 medium stockman. Thats my favorite pattern.
Que bonito trabajo de limpieza vale
Is that a 3 5/8 medium Stockman? The large come in 3 7/8 and 4 1/2 inches.
Yeah this isn't a large stockman for sure looks like a medium
Looks great! I too also use oil stones, traditional stones for traditional knives
Looks a lot better Mark! You did good. As a worker, I wouldn't bother polishing the blades either. I don't blame you there.
Nice job! Brought it back to life!
Nice job Love Case Knives and Amber Bone is my default collection piece
I truly appreciate you showing us how you took a junk looking knife and made it look ten times better.
What compound are you using on that wheel ?
Backsprings came out really nice
Thank you! They were the easiest part! If you have a knife you would like fixed up let me know!
Wow! Job well done!
Thank you!
do you clean and polish rare old coins ?
No, that’s destroys their value
