This was the first Korean movie I watched and I searched it up on RUclips because a friend of mine recommended it to me the day before and she rarely watches films so I knew that her suggestion was definitely worth watching. It was the day before one of my finals in 10th grade and I remember that it was just me and my mom at home. I had woken up early to study and was laying down on the couch with my Tablet and books. When my mom woke up I had already cried a little so I did my best to hide my face, pretending to be really into my books. By the time she had brushed her teeth and prepared breakfast for me, I had finished the movie and was a wreak. I was sobbing uncontrollably, my eyes were red, my nose was running, my body was shaking, and I couldn't breathe properly. I didn't want my mom to notice but she did. She removed the book I was using to hide my face and was shocked to see me in that state. "What's wrong? What happened?", she asked. I apologetically pointed at the tablet on the coffee table. "I...I was...I was watching a movie...And it was so saaaad!", I managed to say as I cried even harder. The movie just reminded me of how much I love my parents and that I should be grateful that they are by my side. I hugged my mom and she hugged me back. She was worried but didn't miss the chance to scold me. "Why would you watch a movie and cry like this the day before an exam? Look at your face. You cried so hard. If you get sick how will you be able to study?" I ignored her and told her I love her so much and that I really really love my family. She was so concerned that she comforted me and watched me eat and finish my breakfast. She even gave me a break to play around before I hit the books again.
The fact that Ryu Seung Ryong still keeps in contact with the girl who play Yesung till now and treat her like his own daughter is just so sweet of him. His family and her family even went on vacation together He also treats Go Youn Jung who plays his daughter in Moving like that. He often supports Youn Jung by sending coffee truck on her filming set Ryu Seung Ryong just casually collects daughter on every drama/movie he in
I watch this back in the day when I was in college with my dorm friends. we were 6 girls watching together, 1 box of new tissue gone in the end of this movie😂
This movies destroyed me so bad😭 i watched it once 8 years ago and decided to never ever watch it again but ill do it again because i know its gonna destroy you guys too
FINALLY, MIRACLE IN CELL NO.7!! This movie didn't just make me cry, but my whole family did. I watched this with them and I saw my mom, sister, and even my father crying over this movie. Miracle in cell no. 7 is one of my favorite movies of all time. It just gets me to the feels.
Although there are several adaptations since it's a movie, this story was created based on actual events in Korea. It was produced based on a true story.
This is one of those films that make me cry even just by thinking about it. I will never recover from this one. That last scene makes me sob every time. The kid's acting is just the best I've seen from any child actor, not to mention she's the cutest thing ever 😭♥️. Ryu Seung Ryung is acting goals in this too. He nailed it! I had no idea what the film is about when I first watched it. I got my trust in the IMDb lol. Gotta say Korean shows never disappoint in terms of emitting emotions and depth of stories. I feel safe with Korean cinema. They have the best content to spend your time with.
This movie broke me emotionally for a week and I watched it when I was 25 with no child. I can't imagine what a father and a daughter would feel after watching this.
This is the hardest i cried for any piece of media ever. I remember i was crying so hard that when my mom asked me what happened i started ugly crying and they were genuinely concerned if i am okay (i mostly avoid crying while watching stuff in front of my fam coz they like to tease me about it) So they got worried that i wasn't smiling even when they tried to distract me 😭 i cried myself to sleep that day.
I can't stop crying no matter how many times watch this.ㅠㅠ I watched it crying in the movie theater when I was young, and it's such a moving and sad masterpiece. Thank you for the reaction😭🫶🏼
Along with the veteran's, the child actors in this movie are really great. The one who played Yesung (Kim Sowon) is still an actress while the child who died by slipping that's named Jiyeon (Kang Yeseo) is already a kpop idol (member of Kepler) aside from being an actress.
I remember my university do an event week and one of the activity, they showed this movie. I didnt see it but those that went had red eyed coming out of the lecture theater. Some with tissues and some even sobbing lol. I watch it later on my laptop and knew why 😂😂😂
I almost scream when i receive the notification 😂 I watched this so long ago and years later in college, i made my housemates watch this masterpiece. When i tell u by the end of the movie, everyone stop talking and only sounds of sobbing and sniffling from each one of them.
Ryu Seunn Ryong was phenomenal in here, Now please watch the k-movie Extreme Job, it is another magnificent movie starring Ryu Seung Ryong, I swear that movie is hilarious
How about reacting to more Korean movies? "Extreme Job" starring Chicken Dad in Room No. 7 Ryu Seong-ryong is really funny. He's also unkillable in this movie. "Confidential Assignment" and Confidential Assignment: International" are also pretty good, same with "Hitman: Agent Jun" and "Luck Key". "Luck Key" has Lim Ji-Yeon who played Park Yeon-jin in "The Glory".
In Korea, this film is sometimes criticized for being an overtly tearful film. But looking at the comments, I feel good that most people seem to like this movie.
this is one of those movies where you can't help but tear up every time :( , also i feel like you guys should take a break from crying and watch Ryu Seung-ryong in 'Extreme Job'!
One of the saddest, heart wrenching k-movies indeed! Another “Moving” alumni, Cha Tae-Hyun (who played the Bungaeman/bus driver), worth checking out is in his 2010 funny/tear-jerking movie “Hello Ghost”, which has also spawned several remakes in different countries.
You guys definitely should also watch Ayla The Daughter of War. It’s based off a true story about a soldier from turkey and an orphaned Korean girl during a time of war. Full on ugly crying it destroyed my whole family 😭
I never have a courage to watch this movie since long time ago cause everybody keep saying this movie is a very sad movie. Mow i watch it with you guys and cry a river huhu
Guys, did you realised that Ye sung's dad is the same actor who played Jang Juwon (Hye soo's dad) in Moving. Actor name is Ryu Seong Ryong, very versatile actor indeed❤
I have watched this movie 7th times and every single time I have cried. I almost died out of emotion the second time I watched it since i watched the first time without subtitles and I am not the best at understanding Hangul. But the second time was with subtitle and I understood even single scene and the words, it killed me.
I already watch this movie a lot of times and it it still make me cry. If you want to watch another tear jerker Korean movie. I recommended "HOPE", it is said to happened in real life. So yeah, hope to see you to react to it.
This movie really does HUMILIATED my rock hard heart. Ryu Seung Ryong is the king of Kdrama Actor... I love that you guys is watching this movie because of his amazing skill on MOVING. I also know Ryu Seung Ryong from watching MOVING at the moment i was seeing his flashback scene, i instantly want's to see him more, and it is really just because he's amazing acting skill, he has the look, style, good personalities and skill, all at once. From MOVING i then watch MICN7, then Extreme Job, Life is Beautiful, KINGDOM, Masquerade, All About my Wife, The Sound of Flower, Perhaps Love, Psychokinesis, CHILDREN, The book of fish and so on. I watched all of that, just because i wanna see him in action more and more and it's because he's that GOOD at acting. Hope you guys will check out KINGDOM afterwards.
Agree th kid actrees is really good!! Too bad we haven't seen her more bcs i think their family prioritized her real life more than push hee to do more acting. But i wish to see her more, she's a really good actrees. She's grown up now and become a beautiful young lady, and i can't wait to see her future work. Also, yes. The actors still contact each other and treat each other as father and daughter. They are so cute
It's Valentines here in the Philippines, here I am crying with you while watching this beautiful movie. Hahaha ♥️♥️♥️ My heart just melts. Thank you for this. Got subbed.
Really digging all the k-content this channel's been putting out. Keep up the great work guys! edit: speaking of remakes, I think both Achara and Michael would love watching the og romantic comedy 'My Sassy Girl'.
Asian films not intended for international distribution tend to be much more sentimental than what we usually see. I understand Korean language has significantly more words for emotions that English has. We've got the word 'sad', for example. Hangul has multiple different words with different shades of meaning.
I had been badly hoping for a sequel where they show the commissioner and his family suffer the rest of their lives horribly through guilt and bad karma, eventually falling apart and everything they love taken away from them even more because they chose to relieve their pain and grief by choosing and enabling the death of an innocent person.
On my way to work right now and I can’t express how happy seeing this on my feed made me!!! I cannot wait to reward myself with this video after a long day of work today. Love youu guys!!!!❤️
I write using a translator. Sentences may be strange. The main child actor's name is 'Gal So-won'. I have already become a beautiful 17-year-old student. This movie was a huge hit. And this child actor was nominated for the youngest Best Actress award at the Korean Film Festival. She did not win, but instead received a special jury award. 30:44 I would like to explain the scene that occurred. It is a traditional greeting behavior in Korea. In the old days, it was a form of greeting given to kings or parents. Nowadays, there is a custom of greeting parents on New Year's Day. And we also do it when we want to say a big thank you. Now that you've seen the situation in the movie, it will be easy to understand. Add~! And the child who died carrying the Sailor Moon bag became a singer in an idol group. What's interesting is that in Japan, a country close to Korea, the same movement has a different meaning. I know that in Japan, when someone makes a big mistake, they act like this to apologize.
I have seen this and cried a lot , and even if see a small clips I cried . It’s not even complete in this video but still I am crying while watching the reaction 😢😢😢
I thought I wont cry anymore here and the walk to the last scene made me cry so much again. I can't 😭 I remember our country has remake of this as well and aired it on Christmas. I've watched it with my friend. You can hear all our sniffles. When we got out of the cinema, everyone with us were a crying mess as well. We all had red eyes 😂
Extreme job would be a great movie to cheer you up! And I also would like to recommend -Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds . - Exit 2019 - Hope 2013 - Inseparable Bros 2019 - my lovely angel 2021 - I Can Speak 2017 - Ballerina 2023
True and sad story. The Turkish version of this that's really good too. But Korean is the original since the actual guy was Korean. Effects me deeply because I'm autistic like him too.
I just watched this movie. As a 61 year old woman, I cried my eyes out. The cast was above and beyond amazing. I will watch this again and again. Amazing on all levels.
finally this movie!!! It's so great you react also to the older ones and this one definitely is a G.E.M. Cried so hard! But the movie is also so incredibly heartwarming. Pls consider also watching Along with the Gods movies, not only were they blockbusters, but they also will knock on your hearts! Ryu Seung Ryong is such a gem, first I saw him in Kingdom where he played the bad guy, but after that seeing him in roles where he is such a sweetheart (Extreme Job is his funniest role I think) Korean movies/dramas really have that special extra ~
No matter how many times I watched this movie, even this time by watching your reaction, I'd always end up bawling like crazy. Korea sure produced lots of sad movies, but I personally think this movie top them all. And by far no remakes beat the original. In my fav list, the Pawn comes second.
This movie wrecked me so bad. Every time I rewatch it, my eyes will be teary from the beginning. It worse when you rewatch because you already know what's gonna happen.
I feel like I'm the foolest one cause I've watched this movie 11 times in the original version and 2 times in the remake. I just wanted to challenge myself to not cry but I failed 🙂
I watched this movie and cried my eyes out, watched it a second time with my mom and cried even more, now I'm still affected by it lol Thanks for the reaction ! 42:25 I don't know if you guys react to k-dramas but if you want to watch something with this kind of plot, I would recommend "The Devil Judge" It's absolutely what you described right there but in a dystopian world.
I only watched it one time because I don't have the strength and courage to watch it ever again. I was heartbroken and it still hurts my heart even just thinking about it. I can't finish to watch this reaction also because I am actually crying ugly all over again from the mid again 😭😭😭
Fun fact: Ryu Seung ryung recently said that he is still in contact with “the daughter” (and her real family) and she calls him second dad :)
yeah and they always meet up in Jeju for the holidays.. their families are close..
so cute
I've seen this movie 5 times and I cried every freaking time.
Watch 3 idiots too❤
Me too😭but I'm still looking for more reactions🤧

Wow! You are such a beautiful daughter.
Brave of me to think I wont ugly cry rewatching this with you all and just enjoy watching you two going through the pain.

I think I found a real-life DadZawa on Kdrama industry
that's so wholesome like what
He's a great actor, that's why when I watched Kingdom and he's the antagonist, I couldn't get mad at him because of his role in this lol
Almost forgot his role in kingdom lol he’s an amazing actor
He's also in moving. Dude just keeps getting casted in bangers.
wait he is he villain in kingdom?

Ryu Seung Ryong is such a gem, first I saw him in Kingdom where he played the bad guy, but after that seeing him in roles where he is such a sweetheart (Extreme Job is his funniest role I think)
Korean movies/dramas really have that special extra ~
No matter how many times I watched this movie, even this time by watching your reaction, I'd always end up bawling like crazy. Korea sure produced lots of sad movies, but I personally think this movie top them all. And by far no remakes beat the original. In my fav list, the Pawn comes second.
This movie wrecked me so bad. Every time I rewatch it, my eyes will be teary from the beginning. It worse when you rewatch because you already know what's gonna happen.
Love ur reactions!!!💕💕💕💕
i forgot how i bawled the whole day because of this
glad you got to watch this movie. I definitely think this is a classic now. crying my eyes out.
The movie that make me jump in korean movie and drama
I feel like I'm the foolest one cause I've watched this movie 11 times in the original version and 2 times in the remake. I just wanted to challenge myself to not cry but I failed 🙂
oh gosh I feel you achara 😭😭💔
Ahhhhhhh i watched this for a couple of times and watch reactions of it
I go in to this expecting them to cry
But i still teared up
ive seen this film 14 times, my favourite ever. i cry every single time
I watched this movie and cried my eyes out, watched it a second time with my mom and cried even more, now I'm still affected by it lol Thanks for the reaction !
42:25 I don't know if you guys react to k-dramas but if you want to watch something with this kind of plot, I would recommend "The Devil Judge"
It's absolutely what you described right there but in a dystopian world.
Now, change your mood with “Extreme Job” starring the same lead actor ♡
I love this movie and it broke me. I watched this for just a couple time cause i can't. But thank you still got me though 😢
I only watched it one time because I don't have the strength and courage to watch it ever again. I was heartbroken and it still hurts my heart even just thinking about it. I can't finish to watch this reaction also because I am actually crying ugly all over again from the mid again 😭😭😭
Just finished this and I couldn't stop crying. I felt so much pain.
I cried before and I did cry once again😭😭😭
