This was the perfect time for you to talk about original forge maps being implemented. We need to move forward from almost all of these maps, they've run very dry at this point. There are forge maps that are better suited for competitive play, but pros don't put any effort into seeking them out.

I mean I’m no pro but I agree with everything you mentioned. I’m personally not a fan of bazaar but I would enjoy seeing it at the pro level again. I would definitely love to see the mangler make its way back and many of the weapon changes you mentioned in the previous episode could work. I also liked a couple of the forge maps they had on the lvt tournaments.

In order to beat Legend Stellur Bound you need Formal as the anchor and have Trippy purely as obj with Lucid helping + a raw heavy slayer like Sparty or smt. Even big game trip's ceiling isn't on par with any of ssg's trio. idk what godsquad he think he's on but he's not gonna beat ssg if he doesn't turn into aPG/Deadzone

@@MakinaMakinaMakina well basically I was using Y1 Sparty as a reference. Although I personally think he unbenefits from not being on a top roster (like Trippy has). In terms of drama I only know about the overclock thing which he said was an honest mistake.

He caused issues on EUnited, causing him to get benched and dropped. Then his health started playing up and he was playing like an amateur, then he manages to get on complexity then gets himself banned which was not on honest mistake, he knew exactly what he was doing. The guy is a complete tool, he has now fallen out with his old Sen squad. He’s got so much baggage and not enough talent to be on a roster competing for 1st place.
Would you consider Recharge adjustment of: 1. Plasma Pistol moved to half-wall (needler). 2. Grapple reduced to 2 charges. 3. Sword platform given grapple 2 charges. This would allow for agressive team movements on both sides that can help reduce the stalemates due to top A and Gold cross shots while balancing each sides opportunity for a grapple-camo-pull.

Getting into Ranked I was sad to see how few maps are in rotation, how few oddball types there are, and how little Quantum was added versus Smoke. I don't think every map needs Quantum but all the new equipment is some of the coolest to watch used in play and should be utilized more in some way. Anyways keep up the work and much love. Don't love Bazaar or Cat, would rather see others but I'd love for the pros to get what they think is best for a change. Recharge, you right a second shock & both have half the amount ammo would fit interesting enough by old sword. Live Fire, also agree, either two magnums, or new postions & plasma pistols instead, replace repulse with something else. Aquarias, agree, but if we had a nerfed heatwave also less ammo bottom center, could be better big risk vs reward. Forbidden, the snipes need to be moved & put at a further location from the flag, on that floating pedastall would be sick where the plasmas are, plasmas go more inside base as it is higher possiblility that snipe falls off the map, another risk vs reward, the routes on the lower levels in the middle are ass & should be redone.. would love to see a thruster or two on the map in the old shotty locations. Argyle.. lower sniper ammo, add a rocket with 2 shots bottom center, & remove Pit. There the classic 2 snipe a rocket & os/quantum. Or fuck around 2 quantum each side top lift, a os top center, rockets bottom, & 2 snipes half ammo. Streets - I love the idea of the Sentinel beam.. bring it in, use the actual sandbox, stalker in plasmas, & Plasmas bottom center, get rid of os/camo also if shock damage affected smoke screen & threat sensor.. it would be more beneficial & you'd have to have control of both in order to not be countered, shock damage to smoke would make it flicker.. shock damage to threat would send 1/2 less blips. Bazaar for flag & slayer .. I love bazaar, I miss Bazaar.. remove spikes, replace grapple with dynamo, replace dynamo with needler, skewer where cindershot is, each side gets a thruster, a magnum & a br. A commando spawns on truck, remove overshield. Catalyst, another skewer but for both teams spawns snipe, each get 3 shots , slightly bigger hipfire reticle, overshield bottom center, quantum top , each team gets a magnum, comando & stalker (less ammo) & a grapple. Add koth. Add one more forge map but for a better strongholds & oddball game hella rotations great movement & higher love on equipment & mangler & maybe heatwave with big buff. Bring back drop weapon. Also would a forger or community memeber be able to do these weapons swaps even without the buffs & increase & pro players be able to test durring off season, rate via blind submission on what should stay & go after three matches same mode & map layout & weapon layout.. ex. Catalyst Flag, Two Skewers , in the 8's lobby player play it 3 times & vote on two skewers or not to proceed? Gg this my opinon I dont believe anyone will agree but if yoy do lemme know.. I thinks its ass with such a miniscule sandbox & the pro teams still had to ga & were not offered options or suggestions. The causuals play with these weapons, I wanna see the pros use these weapons to it's highest ability too. Not just me in Husky Raid.
I'm hearing a lot of competitive ideas, but not a lot of fun to watch ideas. Don't get me wrong, weapon placement and neutral zones to allow for a more evenly matched game is critical to my enjoyment as a viewer, but one has to think about how fun it is to watch some of these asymmetrical setups and watch someone dominate with power weapons. There's a world where we can have both. Games turning lopsided is what makes it so interesting to watch, if halo wants the competitive scene to be more financially viable from viewership alone, they'll have to keep SOME controversial aspects.
I'm remaking my Reach map for forgehub. It's a dual snipe map but 5-flag, smaller and less corridors, and the snipes are exactly what you described: 4 shots, 2 minutes. The snipes' positions are similar to sanctuary. Do you think it'd still be problematic?
Updates for current maps is important, but for the sake of keeping the game fresh, I really hope that pros are taking serious considerations into the plethora of community forge maps just begging to be optimized for comp. You wanna talk about the game getting stale, the easiest way is to just keep most of the same map on rotation, regardless of layout refresh.
Hope someone that cares sees it because i think you give good in depth and unbiased opinion. Usually when i try to think outside of the box with mechanics or ideas in different games im along a similar mindset. I feel like halo has more potential than people realize but i am unsure why they make some of the decisions that they do. Maybe it is just the lack of knowing what direction to take the game. I agree at almost every point you said, but I love to play and watch Pit CTF, so I can understand it that Pit CTF for Pros is kinda boring or as you said, forward pushing.
I agree with literally everything you said about the maps weapons and utility. If it's the same next year, HCS will be boring. It needs to be spicy and replacing maps and modes would do just that.
Hot take: throw in the Warlock remake that Women of Halo just put out. Would be a crazy gametype with the back and forth on the teleporters. Flag and slayer
I've been saying remove Interference and Solitude since they both were added to the game. There is little to nothing fair about the maps layout/spawns. I agree on Catalyst, but I'm skeptical about Bazaar. Bazaar is a camp corner map. It's almost impossible to get map control once the enemy team holds your lockers, front door, alley.... It becomes a standoff. Great video though
I like the OG Infinite maps. They're pretty good. We need to replace the H5 remakes. I like the way Pit plays....but I hate the cyberpunk style of the remake. But we really need to replace the H5 maps. I wouldn't mind seeing Bazaar and or Catalyst come back with some tweaks. There definitely was too much stuff on Bazaar. Hope you have a good off season. I'm gonna miss having HCS during the cold winter months.
I don't think "hallways" are horrible design if done right. I don't think maps need to be super wide open with lines of site everywhere you try to move on the map. Aquarius and streets are both small maps with a lot of LOS blocks that you can actually move on the map and I like it better that way.

I get that all fun Halo weapons are OP at a certain level of skill but I feel like every gun is the most nerf version of it that there's been in any previous Halo. There should be imbalances and fighting for control of better areas/sides of the map, no?
Yeah, I just came back after 2 seasons. These dudes GA'd everything and cried everything outta there spawns, I.E heatwave and mangler. Can't believe how boring it is

It’s not all about us, but we need to considered. Why not just super nerf certain weapons for pro play instead of completely removing them? Give the sword a two kill cap for example. That way, it can’t completely change the game but it will have epic moments. Stop killing Halo plz!
In my opinion I agree with literally everything but maybe putting back in bazaar and catalyst. Other than that I’m a little confused on why he thinks king of the hill is the worst game type because I truly think it’s one of the best right now. I’d say honestly the worst game types right now that are too snowbally are flag and oddball.
Love a lot of your thoughts about shaking up the HCS. Dev made maps should be retuned because they provide more visual fidelity vs a forge map. Bazaar would be really nice to see added as well as Catalyst.
So a map that may be considered slightly better looking should be prioritized over a map that plays better? I disagree. Forge maps should replace everything in the playlist besides Recharge and Live Fire.
I totally want catalyst back and argyle gone. Also pit really does not play well in infinite IMO. And just saying, when i play ranked slayer, guardian and narrows play pretty well....
I couldn't disagree more about Pit. I love it just as much in Infinite as H3. And while Guardian is my 2nd favorite map of all time behind Pit, I don't like the version that's in ranked slayer. Completely agree with you about Narrows though. I think it's great. I also love Catalyst but I also like Argyle a ton too. I would like both in Arena.
Na forbiden need to add a graple and a smoke a smoke to make things harde for sniper so boring when enemy has control of top mid and sniper on your hub there is not much room for error for them to mess up a cap if u add a smoke where the br is and move the br where the dmr is u could actually pull of some counter play for the set up. Graple should Be where tread seeker is ... to keep the map fast pace for how big it is plus giving u more option to pull up snipe shots in ....
Streets is a top tier map. Should have all the modes on it just like live fire. Less interference shouldnt even be playing KOTH there in MM since its not in HCS
I hope the hcs team take these opinions serious and understand there does need to be a change. Halo is so boring now and even trying to compete can be taxing

Bring back Bazaar slayer for ranked with a reworked sandbox. Taking out maps of an already limited map pool is rough.

For Recharge, you could put shock nades on the back silo/hydro platform. That would help with countering the gold setup.

Trippey has games where he just takes over especially slayers his problem is he was the most inconsistent on Optic

I think two smokes on the streets could be interesting. Each team has a smoke to fight for camo

What if recharge had a portal at back C platform, don’t know where it would go.. maybe it would only come up every few minutes

Yeah, I just came back after 2 seasons. These dudes GA'd everything and cried everything outta there spawns, I.E heatwave and mangler. Can't believe how boring it is

@@bishopwilson1016100%. The viewers need to be a factor in deciding what gets GA’d. Pro gamers wouldn’t have a job if we didn’t watch, and we want it to be entertaining. It’s not all about us, but we need to considered. Why not just super nerf certain weapons for pro play instead of completely removing them? Give the sword a two kill cap for example. That way, it can’t completely change the game but it will have epic moments. Stop killing Halo plz!

In my opinion I agree with literally everything but maybe putting back in bazaar and catalyst. Other than that I’m a little confused on why he thinks king of the hill is the worst game type because I truly think it’s one of the best right now. I’d say honestly the worst game types right now that are too snowbally are flag and oddball.
Sentinal beam or stalker could spawn on the old sword pad on recharge
Love a lot of your thoughts about shaking up the HCS. Dev made maps should be retuned because they provide more visual fidelity vs a forge map. Bazaar would be really nice to see added as well as Catalyst.
So a map that may be considered slightly better looking should be prioritized over a map that plays better? I disagree. Forge maps should replace everything in the playlist besides Recharge and Live Fire.

I totally want catalyst back and argyle gone. Also pit really does not play well in infinite IMO. And just saying, when i play ranked slayer, guardian and narrows play pretty well....
I couldn't disagree more about Pit. I love it just as much in Infinite as H3. And while Guardian is my 2nd favorite map of all time behind Pit, I don't like the version that's in ranked slayer. Completely agree with you about Narrows though. I think it's great. I also love Catalyst but I also like Argyle a ton too. I would like both in Arena.
Na forbiden need to add a graple and a smoke a smoke to make things harde for sniper so boring when enemy has control of top mid and sniper on your hub there is not much room for error for them to mess up a cap if u add a smoke where the br is and move the br where the dmr is u could actually pull of some counter play for the set up. Graple should Be where tread seeker is ... to keep the map fast pace for how big it is plus giving u more option to pull up snipe shots in ....

Streets is a top tier map. Should have all the modes on it just like live fire. Less interference shouldnt even be playing KOTH there in MM since its not in HCS
I hope the hcs team take these opinions serious and understand there does need to be a change. Halo is so boring now and even trying to compete can be taxing
