Didn't expect this, but this is actually really nice! Other than sliding between the notes, and vibrato, does the normal violin have any advantage over this?
Those are pretty big deals in their own right, but also think about what you need to do if you have to change temperament. A small subset of fretted instruments (used to be more) have moveable frets for this purpose, but I don't see how you would be able to move the places where the keys impinge on the strings on a nyckelharpa.
