You have to pause peddling for a second and you will hear it shot going up hill. It won’t shift automatically until you pause. Once you get the hang of it it’s AWESOME!!
I have about 50 miles now, on my Lectric ONE. I really like this e-bike, but I have one major complaint. There is no proportional control to the motor! When using the throttle lever, or when pedaling, the motor control is either at 0% or 100%. In South Florida, on flat terrain, in PAS1, I basically have to throttle, or pedal, at 9 mph. In PAS2 I basically have to throttle, or pedal, at 15 mph. In PAS2, to drive the e-bike at 13 mph, I have to pedal, then coast, then pedal some more. I think the motor control algorithm could be improved, integrating the proportional motor power up and down, based on the pedal cadence, and the current speed.
I wish there were other colors available to get. Other than that, everything looks good. Finally, ebikes are getting street tires. Knobbies are good for winter, but they wear out quickly.
Looks like a great bike for commuting. Does the owners manual say anything about changing the oil indside the gearbox? If so how often does it need to be done? Great video as usual.👍
That looks like a great bike. It might even get me to replace my Lectric XPremium with it eventually. How natural does it feel compared to the mid-drive with torque sensor of the XPremium?
I’m curious, I’m 68 and have bad knees. I currently have a regular pedal bike riding on local bike trails and am thinking of getting an e-bike. Does this mostly “automatic” bike handle hills as well as say a 7 gear bike.
Only when you first go up the hill, as you coast up the hill it will revert back to whatever starting gear you set, then you can downshift more if needed
BUY THE ONE lectricebikes.sjv.io/daNE5j

I just bought one today. Can’t wait to receive it in a couple weeks even bought a couple extra batteries.;)
Noice!!!
Yes, I got to ride one of these at the event. I was totally impressed hoping one will come my way.
It’s a sweet ride
Pinion gear technology is ground breaking for America!
It definitely is

Incredible Pinion App....just need to use it and tweak

Hm, I just got one. I’ll use it for long distances but it is definitely a bmx bike for sixty year old men.
The Gates App is also pretty cool

I think it’s good for like 10,000 miles or something
I have that bike. It's okay.

Feels very natural compared to a torque sensor, the gearbox provides constant feel when pedaling
Any word on 2nd gen Lectric ONE
Negative

Really enjoyed the video. Can’t decide on buying the Lectric One or the Lectric Express 750. Which one you like better?
The One is more fun to ride in my opinion, but it’s a smaller bike compared to the 750
I Love my Lectric ONE and the Pinion gear automatic shifting
Love my first Ebike 3.0. Love the lite now the one is very nice looks almost like the lite on steroids. 👍✌️
It's over kill. Super high-tech stuff that's not needed.
Disagree, if you ride it you’ll love it.
