I am using dentures for whole day and at night I keep in box providedby dentist
I put water in it so they are soaked well then I put tablet in box for cleaning and in morning I take them out clean with water an keep in mouth using Fixodent adhesive
That's what I do
I do the same and love the Fixodent too.
A suggestion. To save water, it's better to put a towel in the sink rather than using (and finally wasting) water. The towel will provide cushion in case you drop the denture while cleaning.
Agreed i just lay my damp washcloth in the sink to prevent breaking if dropped....
I hope my biggest problem ever is that someone is using a little extra water to make sure no problems with dentures.
At present, I'm doing something like this, using Surcare Unscented Washing Up Liquid, but I only partly fill the sink and use a squeeze of the liquid in the water. I'm also, afterwards soaking the denture in a denture bath, for 3 minutes and then rinsing.
Do, I need to do the denture, bath soak, every day, or is once a week sufficient? Thanks!
Yes, because of what the dentures are made of, they are very porous and will trap bacteria. That’s why people who wear partials/dentures are at a much higher risk of getting bronchitis and pneumonia.

Is Dettol hand wash good for cleaning it? Asking for a relative. She has been told to use the tablet once a month for cleaning.

Please explain why soap and what type of soap isn't soap made with different comical ? That might not be safe for your mouth either, as well as the teeth. Just asking

Oh my gosh the water waste, here in California we’re in a constant drought. I wanted to reach though the screen and turn of the taps.
I use hand soap. Hope that's okay.

I'm in the US where plumbing codes prohibit separate taps/faucets for cold and hot. Such a waste of potable water is unnecessary when a mixture of cold and hot is possible with a single tap/faucet.

Any dentist will give you a brush. For the amount I paid the place that did my dentures better give me free brushes for life lol.
