- What’s up everybody. In todays video, I will be working on the next phase of my DIY Finished Basement Project. I will be painting my walls and concrete floor. I decided to paint the floor temporarily just to make it look fresh and new until I can save up more money to upgrade the floor to a nicer, engineer laminate or luxury vinyl plank. Everything turned out great.

Looks very good!you did an amazing job! Lots of us can do this, thanks for showing your project!
Nice set up !
Just Here watching thanks for sharing 😮😮
did you remove the insulation from the ceiling? i noticed there is none present during the video. I have a basement similar to yours id like to redo without drywalling the ceiling but the insulation looks terrible.
I didn’t have insulation in the ceiling to begin with. But just tear it out. Yeah, you might hear people walking above you a little bit but it will look way better.
What sheen did you use for the floor paint?
Pretty sure it was a satin finish.
Did you clean any of the dryfall off your floor before you painted, or did you just paint over it?
I swept up what I could. Then used a shop vac. Then painted the floor.
@@DieselLegiance thanks...I've done the same
Nice 👍🏼
How has the floor paint held up?
A couple little nick’s here and there mainly from moving furniture but overall it held up pretty good.
Why did you not spray the walls like you did the ceiling?
I could have but my daughter and I had fun just painting by hand with a roller and brush.
got an update?
All is good. Floor paint is holding up.
