  • NO LONGER FOR SALE: Keeping the video up as I still get people wanting to see what it was.
1974 Teenie Two, over 550 hours, great flying machine. I will miss it for sure.
I am reluctantly selling this because it's time to go to a two seat aircraft. Like someone once told me, "guess I can't have it all".
I am asking $8,500 and that includes a brand new canopy, and the custom built trailer. Many custom parts. 2.3 GPH burn at 100 MPH, you can't beat it for economy! I am 6'2" tall and 190lbs and it's a tight but comfortable fit. Much larger and you likely won't be comfortable but any smaller and you'll have plenty of room to wiggle a little. Overall very comfortable.
Sorry about the sound levels on the video, if you turn up your volume you should be able to hear it just fine but it is quiet.
Leave a comment below or message me if you are interested. I can email you pictures or answer any questions you may have. Aircraft is currently located in New Jersey.
Here are a couple videos of this aircraft flying in September 2016. Also see my other videos as well.
The following two are not mine but this is the aircraft.

That thing is sweet! I seen you posting on a facebook group about needing it transported. From there i had to google the plane model to get a better look. Did take much to realize this is the same bird talked about in the group. Nice!

I'm glad you got so much great use out of your plane. I have a bunch of pictures of myself sitting in it, when it was owned by a friend out at FFZ. It was nice to see a working example of the plane as I am in the process of building one as well. You made some great improvements too!

Thank you very much for watching and commenting. I love the improvements I've made, which are actually a lot more than it appears. It's a very fun flying and economical plane. I'd love to see some pictures of you in the plane if you still have them.

I did find some of my pictures but I don't know how to get them to you here. We are both on the Yahoo Teenie 2 forum. Is your email address your Yahoo username at yahoo.com?

I been looking at a Hummelbird H5 as more roomy, but this was a very good deal and clearly see why its sold.

Very well thought out. A lot of care in this build. I own and fly a Cygnet SF2A based at Ionia Y70. If I was single I'd snap this up.

Nice to see this little bird again.
If you remember I was one of
    The original owner.
That did fly this Teeny for 17 years
    Back in Texas,and Arizona.
You have done some very nice
    Improvement on the plane.
I'm intrigued whit the carburetors? What brand are they ?
    From my experience flying this
Little plane, I can tell you that
It was the most enjoyable flying time I ad.
If I were you..I would re load the video whit a normal sound
Level..I did increase the volume to 100% and I can not
    Ear what you are saying.
    Best Regard.

Jorge, thanks for stopping by. I do remember you very well. The carburetors are from a lawn and garden tractor. They take a bit to tune but once you learn how are very easy to keep running on such a small amount of fuel. They are specifically the reason it gets the incredible fuel burn that I see. I have thought about re-doing the video with just a voice over or something. Other than that I would need to reshoot it. I can't seem to adjust the volume up high enough either. Thanks for the comment. Hope you're doing well.

Nice man, I've watched your videos about this little plane for a few years now. I am in the process of building a Teenie and is about 75% finished. I have a Revmaster 2100 to fit in aircraft with a Prince prop that came out of a KR2, but man you get good fuel burn on yours. What HP do you get out of that VW? And what speed do you get at full power? What's your stall speed with the VG's?
Did you make the wingtips yourself? And if you did, did you carved it from foam and covered it with glass?
Was also thinking of polishing the plane, but I live in Africa where it get's very hot and it would be like sitting in a sun cooker, although the polished plane looks stunning.

    • @Kenneths_Adventures
      @Kenneths_Adventures  7 лет назад

Manie, thanks for watching the video. I am getting 60 horse power out of my 1600CC engine. At full power I see about 120 MPH indicated. That is 3,600 RPM. Typical cruise I use around 3,000RPM and see 95-105 depending on the time of year of course. It does make a big difference when it's cooler out.
I did make the wingtips, canopy, VG's and other modifications since I purchased it. The wingtips were built just as you described, then I pulled the foam out of them to lighten them up. The wings were polished before as well and yes, it was like sitting in an oven. I painted the top of them with an aluminum color paint and it cut down on the heat a lot. Besides it is a lot of work to keep it polished. Sometimes I think about painting the entire plane but don't want to add weight.
Thanks for stopping by and for the comment. Keep building, it is a fantastic flying airplane! If I wasn't trying to upgrade to a two seat aircraft I wouldn't be selling it.

Capt Larry, yes as the information suggests the audio isn't good. This was actually posted for one guy that was interested in purchasing it. It was listed on Barnstormers for sale but the ad has since expired. If you want more information please let me know. Check out the other videos of it flying as well.
