Remember as for Neru, she was the replacement for Miku when Miku was first banned. UTAU with its free-ware gives the double wammy and respect to be included with the family.
+Neon Catt SEGA/Crypton took the opportunity and saw the potential to accept them into as "Vocaloids", I am surprised you have issues against them, be glad and thankful that they were welcomed as an addition.

I would love to have a little night-light figure like that. It would kind of be like the actual figma, but with a little switch on the stand or the back or something that turns on the internal light. That way you can set it on a desk or a bookshelf or whatever.
I should totally just make a crappy version of my own out of styrofoam and yolo it. I can make the chibi versions and then have chibi rin and len sitting on my desk and ommmggg brb getting art supplies ready
if i compare the smal Figures to those Lifesize ones, i must say that the creators put far much effort in the smal ones then in those Lifesizes, i miss the Detailing on the Big ones .... and they are too Expensive...
Wow, this is incredible! Many of the processes used such as a foam sculpt which is formed to a cast or mesh is very reminiscent of Aerospace wing fabrication, especially the use of fiberglass! You guys certainly blew me away with your quality of craftsmanship, and even my professors from my engineering classes would be impressed by this!

The original sculptor used a stiff styrofoam to copy the 1/7 scale figure you can see on the table in front of him. That is then used to create a cast of plaster which another mold us made for the final plastic or resin pieces in the full scale model. It was a lot of work by the looks of it. If the casts aren’t damaged by the piece extraction, I would think they would make several models to make it worth the time, money-wise.
