Dude. I love you. This is just great. Also opening eyes through experiments like this gives me (a boring 30 yr old thinking these things all the time and now understanding way too late why I wondered what made me like certain teachers and some not. The creative ones who always put in a twist that blew our minds were without a doubt the ones most kids enjoyed and why most of my school liked chemistry. The teacher made miniexplosions and showed us a lot of experiments so that stuck with us. And through these creative ways of showing science I personally believe is the way to enhance the curiosity to push science forwards and think outside the box to bring something we can use in the future. Something we can’t even imagine yet.
P.S. To anyone reading this I want to say: Stay curious! Find what you love and keep at it. If you have trouble finding what you love - try to remember what you love doing as a kid and/or still do that brought you the most joy. If you want to turn it into a business to make a living out of it = check out what businesses are built around the thing you love and do that. And if you want it just as a hobby - just do it! You’ll start to see more happy moments in 6 months. I promise. ❤️

or get a long pole, two elastic bands, tie them a foot down the pole at opposite sides and then drill a hole between there these bands are through the pole, attach a 2 foot long stick or whatever and then attach the bands to the END of this stick on either side (following the pole, no bends or curves) and boom.
Pulling the stick to the right will cause the left band to stretch and pull the stick to the left but due to momentum the stick will continue moving which will cause the RIGHT Band to stretch and pull the stick to the right but due to Momentum the band to the left will stretch and so on until the stick stops moving, add some weight to the stick and stronger bands to adjust how long it swings for.
This version (as Copyrighted by me, Patent Pending (Jokes)) will allow you to do everything without ever moving the main pole.

Bro, but you can do this simply by using a bar/pendulum in which mass is non-uniformly distributed {i.e. center of mass should be at the side of bar from pivot point} .....
Then also stable equilized position would be towards upright....
By the way very nice video bro. Love from India....

Him: Wearing more protective equipment, is safely behind the device thrusting metal pieces forward at insane speeds, and is in the center of the room where he has room to move, should something happen
Her: Is wearing much less protective equipment, is literally right in front of the dangerous device while being instructed to bash it around, while also being confined in a dark corner with nowhere to go should something go wrong.
Her having the worst job ever is a pretty accurate assessment

This was truly mind blowing. I think I'll need to do some free body force diagrams to understand this effect
