I didn't have an issue with ejection but the ejection angle was not to my liking with the carbine buffer and mid length gas system. I ended up putting an H1 buffer weight in and fixed my "issue"
Good advice. I’m about to swap to a KAK 16” rifle length gas system on this gun with a few other goodies. My hopes are to make it the smoothest shooting AR.
If you do end up needing to replace the bolt, something I found and really like is the KAK duel extractor/ejector bolt. I only use 158 bolts personally but they sell it in the 9310 also and they have a couple different coating. Also not hating on Bear Creek because I own and really like the side charger uppers but just go ahead and swap that bolt out as soon as you get it and it'll save you a headache. Just my thoughts, thanks.
Good video..... I did notice that the rifle appeared over gassed....if so, ck out sprinco springs or ez tune gas tubes.....either choice you may have to play with buffer Weights to get the ejection pattern to be about 3 or 4 o clock. Keep up the good videos!
Oh yes I have a big update coming on this rifle. It’s already underwent a drastic change and is not over gassed anymore. That’s a big issue with budget ARs. They over gas them to be “reliable” but that causes it to destroy the bolt and ejector which is what I suspect my problem was.
Not limited to budget rifles/barrels ....I've had the over gassing issue with a couple colt barrels too........but have seen a Bear creek upper with out the OG issue at all.......anymore I just assume new barrels/rifles will be over gassed......and if not, that's a bonus.
Good morning Sir and Happy New Year! Awesome video and very informative! You always put out great content! Looking forward to all your stuff in 2024! Take care my friend!!
