That Turbo Camero sounds so sick! Love how the front end jumps each time he shifted! I agree that some shifting lessons are in order to keep some motors from fragging like the Supra's poor engine just blew itself up rather than take the abuse any longer! But hey it's all fun and games until the bottom falls out!
In Germany we have two famous Supras with about 1200hp and in an interview the owners said that they ran on stock internals until about 900 to 1000hp. Unfortunately I don't know of any videos from that time.
Wow man. This is probably the best street racing vid that I have seen in the past few years!!! Thanks for putting it together! You guys don't play over there. Got some serious cars running!! Good stuff dude.. The rest of the crap on youtube is all mostly stock civics tryna race.. lol
Seeing that SRT4 go against the supra brought up a funny moment. Imagine being in a supra with a tiny 76 precision turbo, in 4th gear while the SRT4 is slamming gears, once the boost hit in 4th, SRT4 disappeared like the rest of the traffic. Now I know how it looked from the SRT4s owner point of view.
i agree, although not all imports are fwd, and not all domestics are rwd. thats where people keep messing up and assuming things. almost all your 80's japanese sports cars are also rear wheel drive, and they're great for drift. but so are purpose built mustangs and other domestics. just all depends
I agree 1000% with the last statement. Equal amounts of mount into a 4 cylinder and equal amount of money in a v8. The v8 comes out on top. I am not hating, I own both.
just goes to show no matter what you choose to drive, it can be fast. I wouldnt own a Honda myself, but i respect the well built ones and every car in that video (including the insight!) was pretty cool. driving that insight to races i bet he gets so many looks..like me in my daily driven cavalier...but then they find out its supercharged and get beat in their modded V8's, ppl go from laughing to curious. id love to see that insights build! holding it with a vette!
All motor means N/A... or Naturally Aspirated.. meaning there is no external means of boost or F/i [Forced Induction] ie: turbo/super charger. All motor means that there is generally a higher amount of torque vs HP.. not necessarily saying that torque is greater than HP. The whole point is to get the power to the wheels effectively and efficiently. There are many other factors such as weight management/distribution, suspension, tyre selection, and efficient cooling.. But to answer your question^
+! on Toyota I over-revved my 2zz-GE by missing a shift on the freeway. Tried to shift from 5th to 4th and down-shifted from 5th to 2nd somehow. Car made angry buzzing noises and lurched forward but never skipped a beat afterwards. I still say my XRS was the best car I've owned. I own an RSX and I like it a lot, but my 'Rolla had that Toyota charm and very inconspicuous appearance. RIP '05 XRS :(
Speaking as a previous racer I can see the points on both sides. To the racers who see this video- Be careful, Watch for 5-0, and always have a spotter. To the people who frown upon it- it's a thing that you wouldn't understand. I previously drove a 600whp subaru that would spank the doors off any vette that crossed my path, a head on collision with a drunk driver broke my neck and back. We know the risk.
Holy mother of god, those last 2 camaro's sound absolutely amazing. Anyone know if those are running straight pipes because those sound ridiculously loud haha
I had a Mitsubishi powered stealth out dragging mustangs and camaros. I also had a Dodge Dakota out drifting quite a few imports. That's my point. It depends on what you modify it for.
A true 'Back Fire" is when the air/fuel mix in a cylinder ignites before the intake valve closes causing the normal combustion process to exit the cylinder and travel BACK through the intake side of an engine, and that's how you get a BACK FIRE. Also don't believe you know the difference between Spool Lag Over Run and Surge/Choke and what they mean when talking about turbos. Cut fuel on a forced induction motor to tame problems?! You get bonus points for that Sir.
Most semi-tractors are around 16 liters. I would suppose that given the correct relation between bore and stroke that you could in theory make a 24 liter 4 cylinder faster, but the pistons would be the size of garbage can lids and it would have a stroke of 2 inches.
In addition, you should also learn the terms and definitions of Pre-ignition Detonation Knock Dieseling/Run On You know what...your right, there is some unburnt fuel present in the exhaust and that is why you see the flame, but this is caused by the 2 step that retards the timing so that it can exit the cylinder before being burned to be ignited in the manifolds to spool the turbo. I can go on but space is limited to this. Still care to challenge me on who is correct about things?
-sigh- I miss the hwy 4 races.... passed the bridge.. through Walnut creek like we owned it... Racing to Fish Ranch Road.... listening to radar... and your co-pilot.
drifting actually enables a driver to take a corner while maintaining faster speeds... sure american muscle may flog imports on the straight, but down on a track with too many turns... ur muscles are gonna either be left in the dust or slammed up against the sides.
Not how it's traditionally described my manufacturers. Yeah, it's a coupe due to it's two doors, but I categorize it as a roadster with a soft top. When car manufacturers sell cars they usually have a convertible model which they have a name for and a coupè model, which they name thusly. So I don't say that it comes in a coupe trim.
I love almost every car ive seen on this vid. Gotta love what people can do do to their cars. The prius was actually cool. I dont see the big problem on that car. Its something different. And its way better than a Hyundai or smart car. Thats my opinion....
Do you know what back fire is? It's all the unburnt fuel and/or hydrocarbon. Hence back firing. The ECU should send a signal to the injectors to cut off fuel if it was in over run. But it's not. It's plain ol' backfire from the 2 step. Besides what makes you think it's turbo over run?
To all who think street racing is cool, think about this. 1) Driving is a privilege, not a right. 2) All the money you pay out if caught and also higher insurance rates. 3) It's illegal. 4) Possible Jail time 5) A good chance of loosing control and killing someone, yourself or both. Do you people really think the cool factor is worth all the negatives?
Honda motors are factory built for 11K Rev limiters. They're dialed down so that incase of hitting the rev limiter, or even standing on the rev limiter, it will do no damage, hence why Honda racers have no qualms about bouncing off the limiter.
1:15 That fucking supercharger
the sound of the integra is the sound that the ps1 makes when every games starts... orgasmic
2jz mk4 supras wouldve ended the show!
I always come back to this video just because of the great sounds and races. Really job well done on this video!
That Turbo Camero sounds so sick! Love how the front end jumps each time he shifted! I agree that some shifting lessons are in order to keep some motors from fragging like the Supra's poor engine just blew itself up rather than take the abuse any longer! I think the guys holding the car for the burnout is the funniest thing I've ever seen on a racing video.
What surprises me is that the GTO was able to hold on to it and not be completely outgunned.
Some of the best street racing audio on RUclips. Big thumbsup and favourited.
that z06 was nasty, and i like how most of the 4 bangers all got beat
i like how the tegs were put up against completely unfair competition and still won or kept up
apparently you've never tried to launch a car with torque... and the dude in the insight is sprayin the shit out of it! Holy hell!
"Everything is running properly except the brakes, I'm gonna need you guys to hold her down" hahaha 1:47
the last race was the best one, between the EVO and the Turbo Camaro! Nice video!!!
Dude. The bumper on that supercharger Z06 is so damn dope. So damn dope.
B.A.R. Always has some great races to show. Great job NorCal.
im not a civic guy or honda guy for that matter, but that white civic DAYUM!!!!!! crazy! respect for that builder right there.
Sweet video,thanks for the upload
& for satisfying my street racing addict if only for temporary :D
That turbo Camaro and the Firehawk were pretty epic.
In Germany we have two famous Supras with about 1200hp and in an interview the owners said that they ran on stock internals until about 900 to 1000hp. Unfortunately I don't know of any videos from that time.
That black Type R is beautiful, so clean
Wow man. This is probably the best street racing vid that I have seen in the past few years!!! Thanks for putting it together! You guys don't play over there. Got some serious cars running!! Good stuff dude.. The rest of the crap on youtube is all mostly stock civics tryna race.. lol
That Firehawk....good lord!
Seeing that SRT4 go against the supra brought up a funny moment. Lol, the Hybrid left dawg. Hahaha :)

It's got a redline of about 9k RPMs for starters. It's one of the only ricers I'd ever be caught dead driving.
In the world of street racing a win is a win my friend
4:29 - 4:30 scared the CRAP out of the camera guy!!! Hahahahahahaha
Vaughn Gitten Jr. + Mustang = drifting mindfuck
+! on Toyota
I over-revved my 2zz-GE by missing a shift on the freeway. Tried to shift from 5th to 4th and down-shifted from 5th to 2nd somehow. that turbo camaro was amazing in my opinion!!
You guys are pretty serious out there. Damn. Looks like fun TO WATCH. I would get owned.
Best racing i seen on youtube

I've seen that N02 insight in person and that thing hauls ass and has no chill mode.
Gotta admit this video had some seriously nice tuners, not like all the shit we see around here, these guys DO WORK.
Holy mother of god, those last 2 camaro's sound absolutely amazing. Anyone know if those are running straight pipes because those sound ridiculously loud haha
Im not going to lie..that Integra sounded real nice.
Mad props to that EVO keeping up the the SVT Cobra.
Not a muscle car guy but damn.. That turbo Camaro was awesome.
i love the part of this video where the cars go vrooommmm papapapapapapapapappapaappapapapa (gear change) vrooommmm papapappapapapapapapappapa pow
Damn that supra was like fast and the furious the floor pan fell out!!!
LMAO
I had a Mitsubishi powered stealth out dragging mustangs and camaros. I also had a Dodge Dakota out drifting quite a few imports. That's my point. It depends on what you modify it for.
k20 swapped inspire ? wow thats bad ass lol. can't wait to see a prius swapped with a 2jz ahaha
u guys dnt wreck man, i saw wrecks over the internet, n soon as i turn 17, i stop thinking about street racing. u guys say safe bro.
beautiful street races
I like how this is a 4 banger production but all the small engined 4 and 6's are getting spanked by cars that aren't even that modded!!!

@ 2:42 that turbo camaro...holy shit!!! second gear looked like it was about to do a wheelie!
It's a actually a K20 insight. not the hybrid motor, so very drag eligible. There is also a boosted one that is running like 18psi
23 People´s Vtec just kicked in YO!
Greetings from Germany.
It's the most fun when you customize your cars like underground 2
i agree. but it's AWD. that's why it does 0-60 in the 2 second club.
i really liked that black k24 type-r. turbo, but still, nice and quiet. =)
And yet it was, it is and it will be, because it's like we love it. Muscles vs Imports.
the starting of the video is awesome!!

Still care to challenge me on who is correct about things?
Idk about these guys but around here its common to bring track prep and run a long rolling burnout were you need to hook.
That turbo camaro was nuts.
that corvette had a good mod took out that front plate for intercooler to breath more
I like how quiet the Volvo is and still wins
Good shit. That insight was gone after nos hit lol
5:22 that is the sweetest thing, apologizing for the focus.
Love all of the cars but this video made me love corvettes more
Finally, someone with some sense..
4BangersProduction owes me a new pair of head phones. lol
THAT INSIGHT WAS DOPE!
Ah I see. I have always heard of the term "roadster" for two-seater coupes. "Rag top" for soft top coupes and cabriolet/cabrio as hard top coupes.
that shift by the camaro at 2;47 was sick, turbo v8's are mean
-sigh- I miss the hwy 4 races.... passed the bridge.. through Walnut creek like we owned it... Racing to Fish Ranch Road.... listening to radar... and your co-pilot.
drifting actually enables a driver to take a corner while maintaining faster speeds... sure american muscle may flog imports on the straight, but down on a track with too many turns... ur muscles are gonna either be left in the dust or slammed up against the sides.
theres actually a few muscle cars used for drifting. stangs, camaro, gto in d1
That intro sound.... is my best heard honda sound ever almost jizzed...

Dang that turbo Camaro at 2:42 was PULLIN!
yeees! cant wait till summer.
I was like WTF and started rolling on the floor laughing at the swapped Insight, but then I was like 0_0 well damn.
I totally agree its an amazing piece of machine, should be every guys dream car imo ;)
Damn after watching this video I want to get me a camaro. They sound so mean and better. The corvette also sounds awesome.
That one supra on herecan murder everything else I saw on here.
people who think this is stupid probobly have never done this and dont nknow how incredibly fun street racing is.
I love almost every car ive seen on this vid. Gotta love what people can do do to their cars. The prius was actually cool. I dont see the big problem on that car. Its something different. And its way better than a Hyundai or smart car. Thats my opinion....
Man I love the sound of Muscle cars.
Bring all them cars over the bridge and around the hill.. Someone needs to put up a 209 street racing video..
he said my story was cool , and he called me bro.
Cool
Story
Bro!
:p
People who have passion and not alot of money..
The Mustang took out his headlight for street racing... Oh my lawd.
R.I.P 7th Street
lol @ Insight, always cool to see what people can build though, kudos good sir.
To all who think street racing is cool, think about this.
1) Driving is a privilege,not a right.
2) All the money you pay out if caught and also higher insurance rates.
3) It's illegal.
4) Possible Jail time

Camaro had a incredible launch when the front end came up

The 408 Firehawk sounded sick. Nice compilation, Thank you for not drowning the high rpms with stupid ghetto music.
On top of that half the 240sx's and rx7's have LS v8s in the front :D. I love both I really don't understand why it's even an argument.
stop hating. buy a car you like and let the others do what they want
