This park is SO gorgeous, and the bison and prairie dogs only add to the fun!
It’s a super beautiful view don’t go for the lake it’s the buffaloes pool and potty. The camp site areas are very nice
We camped at Honey Flat a month or two ago - fabulous park! My loop hike turned in to an out & back due to a bison jam on the trail.
What a great park! I camped there a few times way back when it first opened. Looking forward to going back.

There’s so much more potential for this beautiful State Park, hopefully when we get a new governor he or she can give more funding to TPWD to buy surrounding properties to expand parks, especially this one!!
So much lost potential for a parking lot and strip mall 😢
