The best & Correct advice 12:38 & would like to add on In a Up Slope Road Moving the vehicle just by leaving clutch won't work but Parallely using acceleration quickly at the Biting Point will Help to Push Forward the vehicle!! Though there will be small jerks (car will go back 2 inches & then will move forward ) we should be cautious & watch for Vehicle behind us or Place or Dangerous Curbs behind, else will end up in crash or Risk... & Even while Riding Up we should keep few metre distance bw the Car going Front which is safe as well

Few things to emphasize.. 1) Don't engage the clutch on turns. On low-powered cars this is fine but on others with more power, this might be dangerous. 2) On hills, you must be in the right gear before starting the turn. That means no switching gears while you turn. 3) Try double clutching while going up the hills to change to lower gears. This will keep your car in the correct power band. It will also save your synchros 4) When you come down the hill it is best to do heal-toe when you switch to lower gears. This is the safest instead of taking your feat of the brakes when you switch gears.

My queries. 1) How safely to take hairpin bend if I am using a low ground clearance car like honda city during uphill and not worry about car axle. Should I still maintain the left lane if an extra person is travelling alongside? 2) How to park a vehicle in a steep(+ve slope) ? 3) How to reverse park a vehicle in a steep where no curb exists at back( no refence points) ?4) How safely to make reverse in Mountain curves inorder to give space for heavy vehicles to pass by coming opposite ?5) Incase if there is a breakdown where to approach at 1st and how to safeguard without the car being moving both during uphill and downhill? 6) Any tips to get rid of nausea while driving ? (Mostly for co-passengers) . All your videos definitely bridges the gap between a driver and the car.. valthukal bro 👍👍

Your explanation is useful for beginners. And also explain to us about the hand brake control in hills in a driving tutorial. I want to know using hand-brake is safe in the hills or not. I have noticed the experienced drivers also use hand brakes in hill driving sometimes.
Sir, Good job...Need to demonstrate how to leave way or halt the vehicle during uphill in a hairpin bend when a heavy vehicle takes a left U turn in the wrong track....Obviously Lorry or Bus cannot stay in their track when they take a left turn in the hairpin bend...

Very good informative video sir!! In general my neighborhood driver used to give tips about hill drive. He always says....... before entering the bend in hills, try to change to correct gear and maintain the pace/speed if possible. Don't change the gear in the middle of the bend and avoid stopping the car in the middle of the bend unnecessarily unless due to traffic. I now follow it and I always feel it comes handy especially during hill driving.
Birla sir,you have taken great effort,hats off to that.. And to the suv users,during downhill drive in curves,please follow your lanes and dont cross your lane to opposite lane,,it will be blind spot for opposite vehicles who are driving uphill.... I mean like those curves in 9:39 ... And why i specify suv users is that their vehicle will occupy a bigger volume and during downhill, when your vehicle exceeds 40+ km/hr ,your vehicle automatically goes to opposite lane in those curves...so please drive slowly and follow lanes in hills.... Im saying this,bcz i have met an accident, in that time the opposite vehicle that approached me is safari and it almost came to my lane....so thats why iam saying this.....

Very nice explanation.. I drove in swift diesel ..some hairpin bends i struggled with less pulling power of car.. I didn't give that much acceleration, might be because of that..
