That's the sort of day you will remember for the rest of your life. What a lovely place. I especially liked the wild horses cantering through the landscape. 😀 Reminds me of The Silver Brumby series, a collection of children's fiction books by Elyne Mitchell where wild horses are galloping through the tundra.
Those views are spectacular and it was nice that you had company and got to ride a horse. Nice to see that the descendents of the horsemen of the Asian steppes that terrorized the ancient world and the early Middle Ages [Scythians, Huns, Pechenegs, etc] in Europe are still fond of those beautiful beasts that served their ancestors so well.
Oh gosh the Soviet toilet paper with no cardboard toilet roll! The reason I love Soviet stuff so much is that in my late teens I spent a lot of time in Poland when it was just coming out from under Soviet control, and I have great memories of that time, including this kind of toilet roll. Poland de-Sovietised itself much faster than places that were in the actual USSR, though, so I can't get my Ostalgia hits there any more! It's funny how a thing like a toilet roll can trigger fond memories of youth!
The landscape is expressive and extraordinary. The paths wind through lyrical postcard scenery. That car you took back to the village looked like something from the 1960s, especially with the front side windows -- what is the market for spare parts.
@@stephenoshaughnessy2279 there are sooo many Ladas in this part of the world, still going strong! So they must be really hardy or easy to repair, I’m not too sure
@@madmousetales I checked online and Ladas are still made -- with good styling. The old ones will be easy to repair. No digital electronics. A small number of tools. The owner can save himself a lot of money doing the repairs himself. Lada is still making those old parts if they make money of them.
Visit Pakistan. Visit areas like Chitral, Lahore, Multan, Islamabad (Capital of Pakistan), Karachi and then Northern areas of Pakistan like Hunza Valley, Fairy Meadows and Naltar Valley. You can check videos of each of those places. They are very beautiful areas😊❤❤

Serendipity. That coffee would have given you a kick for your hike. Super laid back animals too.

My experience across the Iron curtain was supermarkets with the only thing for sale being Toilet paper and the other odd item :)
