- I am flabbergasted with the result of growing succulents under this SP3000 LED grow light. 25 days of having it on at 14 hours/day. How many hours do you keep them on and do you find your electricity bill has gone up significantly? Your new babies are looking very healthy and happy. According to Mar-Hydro; it cost 58 cents per week to run on 12 or 14 hours/day and I run mine on average of 16 hours/day. Pest control video on the pipeline. Cheers

Liz, the place I live rains only couple days on Spring. Sometimes we are out of rain for 6 months or more. What kind of water, do you use to water your succulents when you don’t have rain there?
We had a long drought last year and in the whole year. I watered my succulent 4 time only with tap water and soil wetter.

‘Hubby bought some succulents coz it’s such a beauty... and i just got a new role on it! Hahaha... ‘just got promoted from a succulent bystander to a mama! ‘Love watching your channel! ‘Learning a lot, and thank you so much! ‘On standby for the time you can share/sell a few of your collection overseas. I’ m from the philippines.
I don't think I'll ever sell overseas. Agriculture quarantine restricts the entry of plant products to the Philippines so it might be a bit difficult.
I cannot imagine your electric bill! which brings me to one of my concerns about this winter. As I have mentioned before most of my plants are new, and I'm bringing them inside for the winter. I only have an open shelving unit that I'm placing in front of a south side window. There are seven bedrooms in this house but a lot of shady trees. the only way these plants are going to get any bit of light is in the afternoon. I will filter the sun a little bit but it's not going to be a lot of sun. The sun starts disappearing around 5 p.m. in the winter here so by the time the sun comes completely around to that window it's not going to be very bright at all. What's going to happen to my plants. Are they going to be okay? I can deal with the lack of color I just don't want them to shrivel up and die!!!! What do you think? All in all they will probably get three or four hours of sun rays. IF THAT.
Thank you for posting this video. I was starting to go through withdrawals LOLI just can't get over the color in your succulents. When you showed the difference between that little Rose succulent towards the end, OMG it's amazing the difference between the two! you really are the color specialist when it comes to these plants!! I couldn't believe the red string of pearls that I saw the other day on one of your videos! Amazing!!!
Haven't got my electricity bill yet but apparently, it cost 58 cent/week to run. That's not even the cost of a cup of coffee a month. I have 150 LED lights in my house and half of them is on most of the time and my bill is quite low. I'll be installing solar panels next week so I can have maybe 4 more units of SP3000.

Wait is it OK to use permenant marker on the leaves like that tho?
The leaves with the writing will eventually wilt and removed by the time the babies grow.

Do you spray water on their leaves sometimes? I take a good care of my succulents; but they are beautiful, but they don’t grow. Keeping the same size. So, if you have some secrets and don’t mind to share, I really appreciate. Also, the propagation from leaves, I haven’t any success. So, I really need some ideas, suggestions. I’m growing succulents only for 4 months. I’m beginner and I fell in love with your succulents! Congratulations !!!
