DONCARLOSR72 - Dude! I cant believe u said that. I is insulting and does not show respect for the effort and musicianship that went into this album. Every current member is as much "Tourniquet" as they've ever been. Honour the growth. It took much effort and hard work for the guys to come out with this Masterpiece.
Hehe, try listening to their older songs, like Immunity Vector or Besprinkled in Scarlet Horror. I assure you, they are really, really good in the instrumental parts :)
Bear in mind that they are playing for more than 20 years (almost 24 now), these guys are 50+ now :)
Guaranteed that God will say, "Well done, good and faithful servants," about this one when this life is through. Any song that proclaims the Blood of Christ as being the only Way to forgive sins is EPIC in the Almighty God's economy. And yeah, i just plain DIG THIS! Onward Christian soldiers!

unfortunately a lot of their old guitar work was written by Gary Leniere and he has became an atheist and is working on de converting the world.Last I heard he was working with some of the old members in a band called 2050.I've only heard one song from them called "Darfur" and it sounds just like old Tourniquet.

While I appreciate their effort, and will ALWAYS love tourniquet, they are just not the same anymore. OLD tourniquet was the best, and has never been the same since. I will say this album is considerably better than the last. Please Ted, bring back the old tourniquet.

Well, Impending Doom is a deathcore band, and Wolves at the Gate are post-hardcor. So they are bound to be different than a old thrash metal band like Tourniquet. Don't bash a band just because you don't like the sub-genre.

I've been listening to Tourniquet since 1994, but all their body of work -- they got one weak album in their history. Because of Tourniquet I was reading more of Edgar Allan Poe's catalog and they are good for writers because you have to look up their vocabulary as their dark traits are rooted in Poe's work.

Wasn't funny. It's like saying they really ripped of Beethoven because music today would be unrecognizable without his influence.
Paul, terrible and sad comparison! Between Beethoven and Tourniquet there isnt the slightest vestige or similarity, although Ted Kirkpatrick names him often. I respect Tourniquet, but Beethoven is MUCH far beyond. On the other side, Slayer and Tourniquet do have many in common, and Ted himself has admitted his admiration to Tom Araya and his musical writting.
