I can’t believe I was there!! At this show!!🫶🏻 Once Bono walked on that stage I remember that I couldn’t breathe💖 I will never forget this show, it is definitely one of the most memorable moments of my life💜 I love U2 so so much❤️❤️
No glasses, Bono with eyes closed, his voice really strong. Who desagree is a bunch of miserable people that wont be in Vegas for this revolutionary tour. See you there guys
Be honest, his voice is shot. He can still sing some songs and has to talk his way through others. Charging fans $200 a ticket to listen to this is a disgrace
Tuve la fortuna de estar en ese concierto y este momento me lo llevaré para toda mi vida!!! ✨🙏🏻✨💕💕🥹🥹 incluso volverlo a ver y escuchar me brinca nuevamente el corazón!!! ♥️ Infinitas Gracias U2!!! 🙏🏻💖
Sad seeing the comments. To most if you die of a heroin overdose or get shot in a hotel lobby you’re on mount rushmore but if you don’t die young and continue doing what you love you get mocked for your voice changing and people think you should retire. Perhaps unknown to some your body degrades overtime, your body today is worse than yesterday and no singer retains their 20’s voice in their 60’s
Wowww. Moment of Surrender snippet into Streets was an incredible choice. That might be my favorite intro into that song I’ve ever heard then perform. And that’s saying something considering they’ve used Hallelujah before.
@@fasticaAgree, No Line on the Horizon is absolutely outstanding! If they'd been able to do this kind of show in 2009 it would have been absolutely astonishing.
Graphics from the sphere look amazing , glad U2 got the chance to start this can’t help being drawn to how they connected with the USA Super Bowl Half time show remembrance of 9/11 with this song . Hope they can get a chance to put together an immersive Blu-ray dvd on online show remastered sound for all too see cos some people won’t be able to go there. Achtung Baby was my personal favourite after The Joshua tree ! Good to see Acrobat and “ whose going to ride your wild horses “ and ultraviolet too ! Obviously you have to be there to really experience it !
Mis respetos al abuelo "Bono", desgraciadamente todo por servir se acaba🤘😎👍 sin embargo fueron muchos conciertos que Realmente se disfrutaron en su momento gracias abuelo" Bono " 🙏😇🙏 bendiciones
To everyone complaining about Bono’s vocals, which are many all of a sudden….where have you been the last 10-15 years? His voice has been brittle and paper-y for quite awhile now. I had trouble listening to the JT shows a few years back because he sounded like raw ass compared to the depth of the vocals those classic songs were originally sung with. This “new” voice and style of singing isn’t new at all.
I have loved U2 spanning 30+ years. The band is really showing their age now, and I did notice it back on the 360 tour. Their energy was leaving them, and their bodies are allowed to age. This show is great for the most part as it brings back memories of Zoo TV; however, the setup and effects here really doesn't do the band any justice. Basically just the band standing around and going through the motions. I don't think I have ever seen a more underwhelming version of WTSHNN ever. The giant screen does not match the song, and instead looks more like a Mac Wallpaper. What happened to the build up to the full on blast of light at the beginning of the song? I have no idea why they have Beautiful Day in the set list as I do feel it doesn't match the Achtung Baby and Zooropa era of the band. The band has had a remarkable career, and their catalog is excellent. They did not have to do this show, and I'm thankful that we can still enjoy their music, and live shows. Yes, Bono's voice is not as strong as it used to be, not even close, but they have done what they love their entire life. Watching this show makes me want to take out my Zoo TV DVD (VHS too), and listen to Achtung Baby and Zooropa again. It was then that I found out more about U2 and fell in love with their music.
His voice sounds very good, it’s just not as powerful. I’m not thrilled with some of the lyrics being changed on one of the greatest songs ever written!!
Hi Scott I totally agree with everything you said.I would also add that by watching their performance with this most amazing U2 classic.Bono is not as engaged with the audience as his known for when they play "Where the streets have no name" in past U2 tours.
Lets be honest big screen tricks aside these performances have been brutal, it all seems to have been slowed down and done on a much lower key because Bonos vocals can’t keep up, as for continually changing the words to verbal diharrea because Bono can’t be bothered to remember the words let alone sing the correctly it’s time they called it a day or this is what they will be remembered for 3rd rate tired and extremely boring performance’s
It's not that he can't remember them it's that they're from the 'Songs of Surrender' versions - which, granted, are pretty unloved even by longtime fans lmfaoo. We were hoping to escape the Sphere residency without having to here SOS versions.
Totally agree about them calling it quits soon I'm a HARDCORE FAN U2 tatts on my body, etc Have seen them many many times I hope they will have sense ENUF to go BY THEIR OWN PHILOSOPHY - " being good is shite" THEY THEMSELVES DONT WANT TO JUST BE "good" I've been a tremendous admirer of this band ever since I saw Rattle and Hum in the cinema instruments don't age and become non performance worthy Voices do SOON BOYS SOON please I will see you in December Cannot wait
How is it possible that a WTSHNN perfomance sounds sedated and dull?!?! If this is all and everything you guys has to offer, then... just quit. I used to laugh at tribut bands for even trying to sound like the real thing. I think I rather see them today. Unfortunately.
Bono almost cryied and you say something like that. Your generation will never understand what U2 means. This is the biggest band in the world, fellow. And you, who doesnt have a name in RUclips, tell them tô quit. Pathetic
what are u saying man. This happens with ALLLLL vocalists of rock groups. Listen to more live concerts. At least he´s not using 5 o 10 backing vocals like another super stars.
I almost feel bad for people who are going to pay hundreds if not thousands to hear a singer who can no longer sing the songs as well as some bar cover bands playing for a $10 cover charge.
To me he sounds really good he’s on pitch for most of the song, still sounds like bono, to me that’s all I’d want at a u2 concert not some rando that they pick up that sounds like a tribute artist
I wish I could have been there. I love U2 and this song

I did too. I was a perfect rendition 9f my favorite song.

Yes, Bono is no longer 27 yrs old. But the spirit of the performance maintains. This is not 2023 david lee roth trying to sing 1984 jump.

Isn't it so amazing. Its like the future, or halfway to a star trek holo deck lol. That sunrise looked incredible.
That was one of the most brilliant Streets performances
I'm so happy that they brought back Streets in that flat key...
Flat key :) streets in a minor key would be pretty bad haha

what is flat key?
@@SaiAbitathaDUCIC album is recorded in D major. They are playing it one half step (or semitone) below at D Flat

Impressive, but in a climate crisis is this venue really responsible?
So are you saying we need to stop living
Bono is looking tired, old,and the singing is subpar. Maybe they should replace him just like he replaced Larry with a snap of his finger.
Larry is recovering from surgery.
