The US healthcare system is inefficient. Many US citizens and lawmakers don't take mental health seriously. And adderall was criminalized for its street value. That's why this shortage won't end.

    It's 100% the DEA's fault.

This is ridiculous. I’ve been taking adderall for 25 years and for the first time in my life I cannot even find it, resulting in the worst withdrawals of my life. I can’t even function. It’s fucking torture. I was legitimately diagnosed and I have to go without my medication for weeks on end.

This is actually an example of modern life not being compatible with the human body. Sad. I’m seeing more and more people needing drugs to keep up with this hustle culture.

@@acmhfmggruno it really is our biology not being compatible, it's causing mitochondrial disorders that lead to impaired energy production because the cells can't clear out all the damage & ROS.

Although I am a firm strong believer and suffer of ADHD myself, and I'm not against the medication I do believe that your comment is also one of my strong beliefs as well, adapting to the new world is not the way it used to be😢

Quite honestly, I feel like this jump in diagnoses with ADHD is a result of technology and multi-tasking so much….we are so over-stimulated that it’s become overwhelming and we don’t know how to prioritize on our own anymore!! I think it’s a problem that’s real but it’s apart of a bigger problem.

How did humans survive for 200,000 years without Adderall? Some days I wonder why we're here at all.

Because you didn't have to go to work and pay your bills etcetera, also genetics and biology change throughout Evolution some for good and some for bad and some for worse, some people's brains are built like they're on Adderall naturally and some are underdeveloped in terms of the dopamine production and serotonin balance in their brain

I believe people don't want to work and use the drug to mask their laziness, I have adhd I want to focus and perform well but have a real hard time at work so I take the drug to stimulate me to be able to perform on the same page as neurotypicals.
