Good episode Jeremy! Curious to your new thoughts on the upgraded version of the Sony EVZ 10? Do you think the improvements made warrant users of the current version to spend the money to upgrade?
I want to read some reviews on it first. On paper, it sounds like they have addressed some shortcomings of the original model.
If I had an extra $1,000 laying around, or had issues with my current camera, I'd certainly consider it.
I'm collecting tips and advice for RUclipsrs. Could you share a few crucial tips for succeeding in the software niche, especially those that aren't talked about often? Your insights could really help the entire creator community.

I hope these help.
1. Be timely. Figure out when a piece of software is going to be released (or updated) and make a video about the new version (relatively) quickly after it is released.
2. Just because you've covered a topic once, doesn't mean you can't improve on the video and/or reach a new audience by covering it again.
3. No matter your niche, your first 100 videos are going to suck (unless you were a pro video editor BEFORE starting the channel)
4. Niche down, but not TOO FAR down. While my focus on this channel has been Linux and Open Source software from the beginning, I've had to pass up some sponsorships because they were for Windows-only software.
5. Specifically for those who may be interested in doing a channel on Linux and Open Source, keep in mind that there won't be as many opportunities for sponsorships in that space because many of the projects rely on donations to stay afloat.
If I come up with anything else, I will add another comment.
