Slough has a relatively high crime rate; figures for all crime categories are annually above the English average and figures for a few categories are at more than double the frequency. According to British Crime Survey statistics, as of September 2013, Slough had the second worst rate of crime among local authority areas in the Thames Valley Police counties (87 recorded crimes per 1,000 population vs Oxford's 104)

Pretty much every English town I've been to recently has this vibe. Was in Nottingham last week and, although you can see hints of its former glory, it's now just another sh*thole awash with drugs, unemployed scum, rubbish, dirt and an undercurrent of violence.
To be honest there are few lovely places in slough. However the town centre is a dive for sure. I was there today and I felt so horrible passing the place ie trolley loads of rubbish. Come to burnham beeches, decent areas. But yes stay CLEAR of the town centre. Also I'd like to point out - the idotic person who actually passed the bin but chose to just throw the rubbish on the floor. It's the PEOPLE that make the place. Very sad that most of the shops have closed.. bournemouth is the same, mostly boarded up. That what he crises has done and the WEF plan to get rid of most of the shops.

I grew up in Slough. On the britwell estate. Thankfully we emigrated to Australia when I was 12
Australia, the new North Korea. F that.
Hi AB Scary how you can get done over like that, shocking. Maybe because I'm older and I'm so trusting of the Police. When I was growing up I was told to call a Bobby if I needed help. The Blue vests are setting such a bad example, they are only making the place an even worse place to be by the look of it. Shame on Slough a big fail.
Not just slough! Everywhere! Be clear about that please
Doesn't surprise me it is an absolute tip and dump of a place
The mystery place - it's the back of the telephone exchange. I went in there once when a friend was part of the upgrade team and he showed me how the old exchanges worked. Very interesting.
The smell of an old analogue GPO exchange l wish l had bottled, when allowed a visit by my Dad, a GPO engineer from '58-'75, on whose overalls the lovely smell lingered long. The clicks, whirrs and trills heard there were aural delight to a small boys ears, one could imagine several hundred voices all communicating down the lines.
Never conform or sign anything or say you understand cause you are admitting you stand under them ….and remain silent
AB: 'Just filming' - Royal Mail man in blue shirt: 'What for?' The plain, simple, obvious and polite answer is: 'Mind your own business', or even better, complete silence.
The sun has got his hat on! PC Plod is a bit bossy AB! 😂😂👍
What a marvelous place it is, well done AB great video as usual
Wonderful place? What sort of drugs are you on? 🤔😂
Pretty much every English town I've been to recently has this vibe. Was in Nottingham last week and, although you can see hints of its former glory, it's now just another sh*thole awash with drugs, unemployed scum, rubbish, dirt and an undercurrent of violence.
Go back to Poland then you lot are the reason it went downhill
Still smashing it AB 🎉
The lady at the end, what a keeper!🤭
lady ?
With the prices in the shops right now she would be a real asset
@@rogerkangaroo6118 not really, she got caught, and then smashed it!
The Slough tourist board will love this one! :)
Its the place where rest of the world come for their "permanent" holiday, where else do you get free hotels and spending money
Most of the hotels are stuffed with illegals in slough!
@@Ellie-mc9wb it’s Eastern Europeans who killed the place
Once again iv liked before I watch it because I just know its going to be good!
Thanks for the like AB.. top marks as always. Keep it up brother
It’s the influx of Eastern Europeans that’s the cancer that’s killed every town
That council warden was walking around like he was the new sherrif in town, this is my Manor
I stayed near Slough for a couple of days in 1975, would never go back, its horrid.
Keep working this town, there's more to expose, way more.
Wow, instead of employing traffic wardens and community officers, they want to employ people to keep the place clean and tidy, it is an absolute disgrace. The council want to be ashamed of themselves letting the place get into that state 😳
Yes ab, the best audit!
AB you remain a legend sir. Loving your work 🙏❤️
I'm 00:08 into this vlog and have already clicked the like button, I have literally watched every one of your vlog's and have enjoyed 96.2% of them so there is a 96.199% chance I will like this one.
One that stands out ish is when your son was with you, he is getting good guidance, I believe
Big up Sharp 💪👍👍
You’re not very good at statistics
@@bobsmith3291
You may be very right but my statiistics on humour out way my math, by 1.374.099%.
Slough leadership: Mayor Dilbagh Parmar (Lab) James, Leader James Swindlehurst (Lab) Councillors Lab 35 and all other parties 14.
"On 2 July 2021, Slough Borough Council issued a notice under Section 114 of the Local Government Finance Act 1988, having the effect of preventing any new expenditure on non-statutory services, following serious financial problems being identified. In October 2021, the government announced plans to appoint external commissioners to help run the council after a series of reports highlighted major problems at the local authority.
Superb video. What we witnessed is the abject failure of education and the result of political corruption.
Let's gooo ab the king of Audits
🤣🤣🤣I am from Azguard 😂 love it Brilliant just Brilliant ❤ Can not wait for the next video
Moral of the story: If you can't spell words correctly, don't write notices for the public.
The sheeple will not be told otherwise...
Enlightening, informative and entertaining video; thanks, AB!
Blimey the standard and professionalism of security there is shocking. I blame quotas for a lot of issues in society now the crazy idea that you need to tick various boxes when employing people. How about the novel idea of just getting the best people for the job. Clearly in this case those people are crap a that job.
I was waiting for his hat to start ringing 🤣
YO AB!! Finders keepers, losers weepers tbh 😂👍. Respect, bro! 👊👌
That was the best intro I’ve ever seen!!! 😂 2 seconds in……… this will be the last decent thing you see 😂
power cut, lights still on???
There must now be a maximum height for individuals wanting to join the Police Force.
The female warden had probably been to McDonald's several times that day already (and every day previous).
While the people of this country believe they can and should phone the Police (or threaten to) for anything they don't like, rather than actual offences, things cannot improve, especially as the Police effectively encourage it.
It's impossible to have a bad day after watching your channel AB ,
Hey, “finders keepers, losers weepers!” That’s how I was brought up! Surely that is a good defence 😂
Maybe not with what could possibly be a £1,000 smartphone .
As a lorry driver I used to load at the paint factory in Slough😒 it really is a very depressing place, I used to hate getting sent there. There is something about the whole town even the layout just doesn’t have a very inviting vibe.
Usually pick pockets thief’s in my town in those uniforms … careful ..
As Sir John Betjeman wrote....Come, friendly bombs, and fall on Slough It isn't fit for humans now.
So my mate lost 5pounds, i think he thoughy i stole it..shortly after i found it in his kitchen..so I thought he might think I've come in the kitchen to put it down as might feel guilty.. didnt know how to tell him I found it without sounding suspicious...so I just nicked it instead . 😜
The lights that were on were probably emergency lighting. The batteries kick in if there's a power cut, and should run for a minimum of 3 hours.
Gotta say Slough lived up to my expectations. It is a tip. 😆
The Slough tourist board approves of this video.
The caution will only show on your record for a few years though, I think its 6(for a basic level DBS check)
The poor guys older and probably didn't have a clue what he's let himself in for, in effect the next time something goes down and he's in the locale that DBS will come back and bite him on arse and he'll probably get charged
that's why they love to hand them out
Its clear from day to day wandering that every single person in any presumed position of authority is set up against the people with the presumption that anyone not in a costume of some kind is either a potential criminal or a revenue provider.
Fishborne said he was security , but never asked you to leave ‘private ‘property 😮
A serious omission 😂
These police absolutely screwed that old guy over absolutely disgusting
He took it to a phone shop! Guilty af
It is always quite fun when watching AB's videos to play 'spot the Englishman'.
So the guy finds a phone in mc'ds and instead of handing it in there, he takes it to a shop that buys mobile phones 🤔
What has happened to Britain? Where has all the British gone?
Oioi AB you love it there really 🤣🤣🤣
Where is my monies 🤣🤣🤣
Yo 👍 show me the money 💰 🤣🤣🤣
Oioi Charles 😉😉😉
What a terrible deprived place, same as all cities in the UK now, our country has crumbled
Why are the lights on in the bank?
