He stayed in the middle of the pack, if you are in first all the cops that spawn will go after you. Stay in second and close to first until your about 2 or 1.5 miles from finish and pass him. If that doesn't work then just be in second, there's only about like 9000 SP difference, it says Complete, not Gold or Silver it.
Phew, just beat this...finally. Used a Ferrari Enzo with Shockwave and the Jammer. Despite what gamefaqs tells you, the cops are the biggest threat. The most important goal is trying to make the next repair station alive somehow, someway. With the final strech that begins with the repair station on the left side of the opposite highway, I tried to conserve my three jammers as it is, from there till after checkpoint 51 (near the end of the race), that you get another repair station. Used my jammers earlier on previous runs but the cops ganged up on me while I was waiting to crank another jammer and I got done in. I waited until I was under duress to use them and I still didn't think I was going to make it...those cops are relentless and gang up on you. By some miracle, I made it to the station and even that last mile wasn't a sigh of relief. It seemed like they came at me harder and I was fearing that the cars behind me where gonna blow by me or I'd get busted at the last second, just yards from the finish line. Survived the blows and limped across...I'll take the W. I think that was the hardest NFS game I've beaten...those other medium and hard Hot Pursuit events are no joke either.

I tried it with all the cars and I maxed out each and every one even all the hyper cars I found cars the like the Ferrari Enzo with high durability were very good and survived most of the race but I eventually got the koenigsegg one:1 and maxed everything out including all pursuit tech and it was serious after that I got a little more experience in the game and I finished off the grand tour easily taking in 600k sp and I'm only a lvl 22

Also, it must be noticed that if you unlock the framerate, the game runs at double speed and the physics brake, just like old dos games.

loved this game and beat it, got easy after practice just went cruising jacking up the heat level. gets alot more fun the tougher it gets. I miss this game, hope the new one is just as good
There has already been a found a fix for the framerate lock, so now you can actually play it at 60FPS with normal physics. Nevertheless this doesn't change the fact the game is shit, one of the worst Need for Speed sequels I've ever played, it feels like you're trying to drive a fat woman...

if you guys wants to win this mission, you need to play it with lamborghini veneno and you need to upgrade all the tune and then you need to have shockwave level 4 and turbo level 4 or you can put stun mines level 4 too, and when you play it, you have to use nitrous every time when the cops near you or you can use shockwave if the was near you, and you need to go to the repair shop if your health is low. and the last thing is you should go away from the cops so you will dont get a spike strips.
It will be quite difficult to complete the event the way you say it. The easiest way is Fully Upgrade whichever car, equip with maximum level JAMMER & TURBO. Go through gas stations to repair you car and to replenish your pursuit tech. Simple..

I found the solution, you just have to upgrade the car and you got it
Try the Ferrari F12 fully modded, it has good strength and durability with good speed.
Try upgrading the car fully. Also, he is probably lucky with the amount of cops after him.
DrDiamondzz I upgraded my Huayra fully and this race is still being a pain in the ass.

what trainer were you using? the Veneno cannot do turns like that at 300km/h+. also, it looks like you used the superspeed too.

The easiest way to do that race or any race in the game is to use the Koenigsegg Agera R copcar. It has 10 speed and durability.
I set my record time of around 6 minutes by using the stolen police Agera R. It's super op.
