i cant move any of my levels why is that... i was recently gifted a Hyper X cloud II and the mic picks up a lot of background noise and some times even my breathing even with the mic far away.
Hmm ya that's how those headsets are designed unfortunately you probably won't be able to adjust the microphone too much. You'll want to try neep.com which can remove unwanted background noise.
Hey I just bought a sennheiser SC 165 and I can hear static in my recordings. I mean even when I speak nothing, I hear a hissing sound in the background always. Is the headset faulty ?
Hi Piyush, this isn't common so it may be defective. Try plugging the headset into a different USB port and make sure your microphone isn't at 100% mic volume. Restart the computer and try it again. If it still doesn't work I'd request a replacement.
The headset being used in this video is the Discover D722U here headsetadvisor.com/products/discover-d722u-noise-cancelling-usb-wired-headset-for-computer

Nice! How can I cancel our fan noise
By investing in a headset with a noise canceling microphone or adding Krisp.ai noise canceling software
Would this feat work on a low-budget noise-cancellation headset?
