The news reached to the audience and everyone got tensed if they could be able to listen to Him or not. But Ustad ji finally appeared on the stage and... the remaining was a history !!🙏
Vilayat & Imrat Khan's father Enayat expired keeping them as young, continued course from Sitar-Benjamin/Gomes father John Gomes (hence Ud. title+), the last being Enayat father's student. All Etawah gharana, right? And Ud. Benjamin was music directors for Bangla films: 1)Ulka (or, meteor / Meri Surat Teri Ankhen, original), 2)Satyajit Ray's Jalsaghar (here, chief instrumentalist), Natun Fasal, & 4)Swapno Niye. His (Taltalla, Calcutta-16, behind Police station) 'usual' tabla accompanist was Ud. Karamat Tullah Kha-Saheb (Ripon St., Calcutta-17 now). Guruji's son is, Lalit Gomes / Soulful sitarist. His tabalist took taalim from late Karamatullah). Bangla, India, & SHARE globally plz.❤
