Does anyone need that much of reverb or delay? To whom those pedals are addressed to? On stage you probably wouldn't use more than one kind of reverb. On the other hand, in studio you would probably use software-only solutions.
Hate to say it, but these pedals don't sound particularly good. Maybe it's just the factory presets, but I wouldn't really say that what I'm hearing is at all a match for the Strymon Timeline and Big Sky. There's a subtlety and character to the Strymon big boys that I'm just not hearing here. These IK pedals just sound sterile and in your face. Any chance you could get your hands on the above-mentioned Strymon pedals (even if just on loan) and do a side-by-side?
Love your videos but these pedals just seem weak to me. Almost like a new age digitech rp system masking as a strymon pedal with a similar strymon price tag. Just not impressed with the digital sounds coming out of them pedals. Call me old school, but if you’re going to do something, better to do one or two things really well instead of a lot of things that are mediocre at best. Keep rocking Fluff.
Getting tiring. I like Sweetwater but why keep pushing products no one uses or wants acting like it’s the latest and greatest. You can tell he doesn’t even like the product. lol 😂
with all the software avail on the market for way cheaper. not many will buy these for recording. same for live gear. just to get chorus and delay, you gotta buy almost 700 bux in pedals. meh. I don't see a target audience. it should have been one box with all the tones for $350, not split up into multiple boxes for these prices. someone went full greed mode. there are cheap modelers on the market that can do most of these sounds. you could probably just pick up an old pod or v-amp for efx to get similar sounds much much cheaper even some older rack gear like digitech or rocktron. Especially for live. no one is going to tell the difference.
Rift Spirits and Gear is one of my favorite channels.

Interesting
Slight update. $329 for either of these pedals.
Free for 1 month, that is the software version.
Uhmmm…. Strymon is on the phone…

I think you need a break for awhile. The channel has gotten really stale, and is pretty much one big add for sweet water.

I agree, there is nothing interesting here anymore, just promo
