After watching many videos - including yours, I think this is my next tent. If a bit of condensation is the worts thing I have to worry about, then I'm in. I love having the built in shelter for, cooking, etc.. - for me as a landscape painter, doing my best Tom Thomson impression, it has other benefits. I also operate from my motorcycle, so it looks compact enough to manage that as well. Oh, and don't forget to season your steak. Remember salt is not just for flavour, but also a tenderizer. Do it before you pack, and keep your meat in a zip-loc bag, with all your seasonings done ahead of time. Thanks mate.
Im glad you found the video interesting, and its helped you make the decision to buy one. Its a cracking tent. Thanks for watching and your comment Atb Andy
Hello Andy from Virginia! I've had my OneTigris Bungalow 2.0 for several months and I love this baker style tent. When I backpack I'll use natural resources to deploy it but on overland camping trips I'll set up using trekking poles and Green Elephant tent poles; and replaced the stakes with MSR Groundhogs and two spiral stakes for the awning. When it's raining or snowing I set up an additional pole under the awning to promote runoff or prevent snow accumulation. I usually leave the awning up to enjoy the view of the lakes and mountains. Years ago I worked with RAF friends while stationed in Suffolk. I was fortunate to live in your beautiful country for eight years total with a one year break in the middle to serve on a mountain radar site in Oregon. My wife and children were all born in the UK. My favorite activity was participating in match fishing and won two on the River Severn and one in the Norfolk Broads (27 pound pike). Anyway, Happy New Year to everyone in the UK and I wish you god speed throughout 2021.
Thank you for your comment, yes i love the bungalow, and intend on buying some telescopic poles for it, ive now got new guide lines for it to. We are currently still in lockdown here in Wales but i will get out in the woods again as soon as i can. Atb Andy
Great chow, but you need some onion! Lol. 🙃 I have the same shelter, but I guy out the back two lines to give you some back room along with the middle small vent guy out to one peg. It seems to work for me. I got this idea on another video, which I can't remember at the moment, but we are all here to help each other anyway. I enjoyed your video. Thank you buddy.
I have the one tigris outback. Love it. I use elephant poles. Nice review. The awning is the best feature. I leave it open at night since I love the fresh air.
yes ive seen that on your face book, group, Dan. One tigris have been going for many yaers, just like some of the other products i use in my videos. Its sometimes not all about getting products out there on our youtube channels, sometimes its about try them first me. ATB Andy
@@andyoutdoors4350 I think it might get too complicated for this channel. What I really wanted it for is to receive NAVTEX way down at 518 kHz but I will need an up converter and a massive antenna, so then I found calculations for using just a big antenna and a loading coil. As you know Rx is not as critical as Tx for antenna resonance, but I will still need an up converter (I know you can crank it down in the software but it was never designed to go that low and it is pretty deaf below 24 MHz or I need a much more massive antenna). So then I think if I am going to buy an up converter at over £50 why not just get an RSPdx from SDR play. But then I need to run it on different software (maybe). Currently I am running Skywave Linux (from a live CD). I have made up some dipoles in the VHF band and currently listen into Volmet and the airband, but as I keep saying, what with work and all there is just not enough hours in the day. Currently I have diverted off onto my waste oil burner project as there is probably about 200 gallons of waste oil which has been dumped in 20 liter containers just for the taking, but I don't want to cart them home and find I can't use the stuff :-)
I'm a little late here, but I got my Bungalow 2.0 about a month before you shot this. I'll have to double check, but I think my guy lines are reflective at night in the light from a headlamp or campfire. This is one of my favorite tents for three seasons, and I also have the One Tigris "Iron Wall" stove tent for winter...which I also love, and used below freezing with a portable wood stove. The Iron Wall might even be good for cooler temps in the spring or fall without a stove. Good video!
I really liked this Andy, have been looking at this particular tent for a while now. I reckon for summer use, with the side open and the bug net closed it will be unbeatable to sleep in. But I am not sure how it will fare with the lower temps of spring/autumn. As ever, I was not hungry at all, until you showed your meal for the night. 😢 now I am bloody starvin' Marvin lol. Thanks for sharing, and I hope the stormy weather isn't hitting you too bad. Take good care brother.
Good to hear from you again brother, the storm came in fast today, calm this morning when i left for work at 04.00 hrs, by 0500 it was picking up a bit, by tonight we have already had 3 power cuts in the village lol, good job im a prepper too. Knowledge weighs nothing. lol. big give away coming up. grab a One Tigris backwoods bungalow for free. (out of my own pocket) keep watching the channel brother loads more to come, but you know me, i never give an hints to whats coming next, nice one Dave, Abt your friend andy
Pretty decent review was that fella👍Just bought the same bivy and it seems pretty good,The guys are now reflective and have sliders. The bag that mine came in seems a little large (when the kit is rolled up tightly there is loads of spare room)Got an ultra light 6x4 groundsheet to use for a sitting area(half under tent half for sitting on in the porch.I can,t wait till lockdown ends and i can get back out in the woods and use it.
I have the same tent. I'm actually taking it out for a spin in a couple of days. Nice channel mate👍 I'm new to RUclips as well. I'm also originally from the UK. I subscribed and I'll be following on Instagram. Cheers
Hey, I also ordered the tent. But now I am interested in your cup😅. I know there are thousands of those outdoor cups in this style but yours looks pretty nice. Which brand is it? And how many ml ? Greetings from Germany ✌🏻

no good of a real canp fire mate!! watch the next video lol
I came to that conclusion. Nylon and heat don't get on.

So long as the ground sheet does it's job that looks like a really practical tent for the UK. Best wishes

Cool tent - I want one with a steak 🥩 too - nice little stove , what make ,model ?? -. Thanks sir - sub left
Hi, the stove is a bushcraft essentials titanium LF. Thanks for watching and your comment Atb Andy
to stop condensation l just close the mesh and do not zip the front completely down live a little open and peg lightly out.
Great advice, thank you for watching and your comment Atb Andy
