The LG is only one I would even consider. I have 3 monitors on my home computer so I don't understand the complaint about the separation. Those types of complaints only seem to come from those who don't use multiple screens for anything ever. So the complaint comes from inexperienced people just imagining what problems could be. Yeah, no. - It looks practically the same as a *$90 Xiaomi Redmi 8.* That's a massive insult in the era of truly borderless, notchless displays (with motorized cameras) especially with its price. - LG still hasn't improved its software update situation. The faux-dable is probably the best implementation so far. My LG V60 has active stylus pen which I've used to draw my own wallpaper, headphone jack, and doesn't come with fragile handling warnings. Sure the Fold and Mate X are a lot sexier and cool but they also cost a heck of a lot more as well. But I love this conversation. Also battery life on the V60 is amazing.
Yeah, the problem I have with true foldables is that pen support is non-existent for now. Which is a waste for phones that can be a tablet form factor, that bigger screen begs for pen input for not taking and digital art. The issue with faux-dable as well is that you can only take advantage half the full real-estate for pen input. So it's like having 2 Galaxy Note taped together, not an 7-8 inch tablet.
@@sidersproductions941 Yeah, V60 is pretty dope considering it supports pen input for both displays. @@kornkernel2232 I really wanted the Duo but lack of information regarding specs and features have lead me to pass on it. Also the price is another thing as it probably won't be cheap. quick comment about the V60, it at this moment only cost 700 bucks with the dual screen case. I believe it is easily the most underrated flagship of 2020. please check out this phone more because it has some AMAZING features like Lg's undeniably great Quad DAC headphone jack and a 3d sound engine. plus some of the loudest speakers on a smartphone with no loss of clarity. all day battery with or without the dual screen case and lots of people love the camera on it too. i really think it deserves more of a shoutout than MrMobile gave it. I certainly wouldn't categorize it as a folding phone by any means but more of a unique party trick. its a budget flagship that with the recent update to Android 11 will NOT let you down.
The Phone to Tablet idea surely is intriguing but the most practical solution is the flip phone one for sure. I hope that technology evolution will finally give us a true bendable glass screen 🤩
this kind of thing is why I love your content Michael: a great idea, simply articulated, with the promise of more to come. An entertainer, an innovator, an educator. brilliant.
LG cup dual screen here... I love a ton about it... Including the pen... Makes me really wish Samsung made a case like this for the note series... Cause there is a lot I miss about Samsung. But this has pen support and jsnt fragile... Makes me look forward to the duo that much more.
But the problem is the price lg v60 with dual screen costs 900 usd where as a true foldable cost is out of reach . i would prefer lg v60 today because of the price . LG could make a true foldable because they were pioneer of rollable displays and they are the true manufacturers of lenovo thinkpad x1 foldable laptop . LG didn't release a true foldable because it knows the technology is not ready yet and will take 2 yrs at least for it to become consumer friendly foldable phone.
I don't mind the love for true foldabales but at least we need to give some props to LG for bringing something to the table for affordable price and consumer friendly device.
I'd go for the clamshell. Making a phone smaller to fit your pocket much easier is ideal. But the concept has to mature over time, the Razr and Z Flip are promising.
It's a no brainer that the best foldable design is the Clamshell. Not every one needs a huge tablet sized phones. But many people would love a small phone in their pocket that can transform to a normal sized phone. Clamshells are the future, even though it harkens back to the past!
If I had to buy one, it would be the Galaxy Fold. I personally find the Galaxy Z Flip kind of pointless. I want to like the Huawei implementation, but the durability issues are a deal breaker.

Actually looking to buy the galaxy fold 2 when it comes. Regular phones don't excite me but foldables. God, i held the fold 1 in store at it was just incredible. But everyone knows or should know not to buy a gen 1 product. Can't wait!
0:09 thats the wallpaper from the galaxy S5
Well, still loving what is going to come in tech, nice and fun video as always man
I've watched this video 6 times already and the intro music is still the best!!
LG V60 is the one for me, use the dual screen/case at home, normal single screen phone at work or on the road! Thanks for the review
quick comment about the V60, it at this moment only cost 700 bucks with the dual screen case.
Foldables are exciting!
The clamshell genuinely feels fresh again and I'd love to have a smaller phone when in my pocket.
The quality of this video! DAMN!
The Phone to Tablet idea surely is intriguing but the most practical solution is the flip phone one for sure. I hope that technology evolution will finally give us a true bendable glass screen 🤩
What is that neon icon pack? Thanks.

Here too early. No comments to scroll through while watching :(
Mood
Huawei's animation while folding in and out are so fluid.
Fold-L -dables, works better on paper! good one Mr. Mobile :-)
The foldable format I'm really excited about is that of TCL’s new rollable concept phone.
If they can get the kinks and software worked out.. that would be great..
@@drifter4training Or if others adopt the form factor. It gets rid of the biggest issues.
Hey MrMobile, I like your videos. This one is great too. Proper quality job. Can't wait to watch the 2nd episode. Have a nice day. :)
Not sure how Michael isn't at 1,000,000 subs yet. I know he went off on his own a couple years ago but he's that good.
I was instantly hooked the moment I saw "The Newsroom" reference.
Amanda Puspita Sari where was it in the video?
Clamp shell are the most practical and well protected.
I just pre-ordered the Z Flip3 5G a couple of days ago, and my inner 00's teenager is SO. EFFING. EXCITED. 😄😄😄
Cmon guys lets give this man at least a million subs. He earned it.
I think I will Wait for Rolling Up Screen Technology!!! 😍😍😍
this kind of thing is why I love your content Michael: a great idea, simply articulated, with the promise of more to come. An entertainer, an innovator, an educator. brilliant.
7:17 Oh damn, Marc Rebillet got buff
Everyone else: Huawei P40 Pro
MrMobile: Foldables
To be fair foldables are far more exciting
@@TechDove
More exciting... For a week.
@@Kayzef2003 I've been using my z flip for over a month. Still more exciting than every other phone I have
@@Kayzef2003 r u thinking people use foldables like they willing to destroy it?!
But...no one at all is really covering the P40
Effing Covid 19 really sucked the fire out of that particular launch
This soo underrated.. this needs more likes...
Ur personality is awsome man. We can hear onli for u and ur excellent review
I'm looking forward to see more from this new series .. nice video
With most foldie design, you can also use your primary camera (+led lighting) as your selfie cam.
Love your into game! Gets me hype!!
This video is not something I expected to see but needed.
Infotaining and satisfying as always. Thanks and Stay safe Micheal
LG cup dual screen here... I love a ton about it... Including the pen... Makes me really wish Samsung made a case like this for the note series... Cause there is a lot I miss about Samsung. But this has pen support and jsnt fragile... Makes me look forward to the duo that much more.
Great video...you always make my day! Really dig the 95’ stache! 😊
They just find a way to hate on LG. Simple.
@@Nick_in_the_6ix true that
the lg is the only one with a 2020 chip sd865, all the others are old, and its half the price
I don't mind the love for true foldabales but at least we need to give some props to LG for bringing something to the table for affordable price and consumer friendly device.
@@josephspectre8810 and also the only one with mammoth 5000 mah battery
I want an LG g60 but we are not getting them in the UK. I am OK with the problems you listed but can see the advantages of the fully folding phone.
Mr.Mobile... You should have over Millions and Millions of subscribers... You're in the top 3 of Tech Reviver's...😮
I'd go for the clamshell. Making a phone smaller to fit your pocket much easier is ideal. But the concept has to mature over time, the Razr and Z Flip are promising.
MrMobile helping us through the quarantine ❤❤
It's a no brainer that the best foldable design is the Clamshell. Not every one needs a huge tablet sized phones. But many people would love a small phone in their pocket that can transform to a normal sized phone.
Clamshells are the future, even though it harkens back to the past!
The Newsroom! An offbeat but appreciated choice.
I'm more interested in the scroll form factor. The fact that it may have no crease is an enticing idea. I hope they come to fruition
If I had to buy one, it would be the Galaxy Fold. I personally find the Galaxy Z Flip kind of pointless. I want to like the Huawei implementation, but the durability issues are a deal breaker.
So beautiful footage just looks like real! 😍
Your Star Trek stuff makes me happy.
Nice Newsroom shout out. You have yourself a new subscriber.
Amazing series Michael :)
This foldable 101 primer is very educational... the 5th design, rollables is coming..
Ok, curious what you are using for you microphone. Is it the box device on your chest? I do a Facebook live thing regularly and need a mic system for it.
7:17 oh look Mario.
On crack
Watching on my Z flip 😁
You are rich bro
How is it holding? :)
@@sddrx6000 nah I just saved up money to do this
@@OmarMohamed-yr7kj well I went to the Samsung experience store the day I got it and had a screen protector installed. I can hear something in the hinge but I don't think it's a big deal, it's holding up very well other than that
@@OmarMohamed-yr7kj it's just a pain in the butt to keep clean that's all
I already have watched separate videos for each device you've showed here, but I just like your videos
