I feel like painting with smoe and other better writers has really helped you develop your skills faster then you usually would. Always healthy to be having a little competition and having a better writer to look up to. Good work, respectable wall.

I think the reason why you're happy about your characters is because 1: you're not confident and you should be because what you do is amazing 2: because you use flat colours and not transparent colours, with flat colours shading is way harder and even impossible, invest in some transparent colours and you'll see, it'll be much easier!
Are you painting? Did you see actual live spray painters other than on youtube? There is nothing you can't do with flat colour, you just need the right tones, and that will be most of the time better than transparent cans.

Reminds me back in the day in Brooklyn New York when I used to watch the trains go by. It was rolling artwork. I was never talented enough to draw that way but boy did I appreciate the talent that those guys had. All the different styles of drawing were just amazing. The best was when there was a full car. Didn’t matter if it was block style, bubble style or wild style I always got a kick out of seeing a full train car with graffiti on it. And just imagine they had to bring all that spray paint, hop the fence and paint in the dark while avoiding police and security.
