Just shows how important the caddy is. For him to rattle off every number for every type of shot means Max has confidence every time a club is pulled from the bag.
Titleist marketing team is using your comment to justify the spend and ROI of this video right now 😂 But I totally agree with you that most WITB makes me want a full set fitting!
@@jpbackhouse they just care about feel and flight, atleast that’s what morikawa said. He said he doesn’t even know what his shaft technically is long as it’s able to hit the window he wants
That was interesting even though we didn't get any info on shaft types, lengths, swing weights, grips etc etc But it was an interesting insight into their player/caddy relationship
Just got my TSR3, playing black T200 irons, 916h, vokeys and Scotty. Need a 3 or 5 wood to complete my bag. Transitioned from TM starting two seasons ago
I wonder why he did not name the clubs...I know the irons are 620/T100.... specifically the utility wood and the three wood we didn't really see. I think the driver is a TSr3
How often does Max switch out golf balls during a round? I’ve always been curious how many balls the tour pros go through during a tournament. I usually use 1 ball for one 18-hole round…unless of course I lose it or it gets really scuffed up playing from the desert.
Wish we could get a Titleist 7 wood in the uk, having 13 Titleist clubs and a ping 7 wood is annoying, any reason why you don’t offer it to the public?
Would have been nice to mention the the Grinds on the Sand and Lob Wedges. Didn't mention Anything about Shafts through the Entire Bag. The Link didn't provide anymore information.
Based off of his Farmers win earler in the year, i'd imagine shaft and grind setup up is this: Driver - Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Black 65 TX Fairway - Fujikura Ventus Red TR 8 X Irons - KBS Tour $-Taper 130 X Wedges - KBS TOUR $-Taper 130 X (46-50), KBS Hi Rev 2.0 125 S (56-60) Wedge Grinds - 46-10F, 50-12F, 56-14F, 60-04L
Read through some comments. As if you would release "personal info" to average joe youtoob's. grip compound, shaft length, weight and stiffness. offset deg. 36.8deg wedge but say's 35???, has he had the sole grinded on the heal???. The fact that he can tell to the yardage of any club. What club he hits to a pin change on a green to the yard under all conditions. CRAZY
Yeah you’d think titleist would want that info known and the heads shown more. It’s was very limited on actual info about the clubs other than 3 wood that goes x distance. What models, lofts etc.
Love this style of video. So cool to hear Greiner's knowledge and have him talk through their routines.
Just shows how important the caddy is. For him to rattle off every number for every type of shot means Max has confidence every time a club is pulled from the bag.
One of the best WITBs I've seen on YT. Max is lucky to have Greiner.
Didn’t even talk about the shafts and grips. You cappin
T100S Irons. They are insane!!! Thank you Titleist!
Could listen to Joe talk about Max’s golf game all day.
This dude loves what he does . So cool
How cool to see the yardage gaps that Max plays. The 7 wood is looking very appealing! What an amazing caddy as well.
“He hasn’t thrown [his putter] too much. There’s not too many dings on it.” 😂
Makes me want to build a Titliest bag set.
Right
Best clubs in the world
You play other clubs?? Jeez bro...do yourslef a favor
Titleist marketing team is using your comment to justify the spend and ROI of this video right now 😂 But I totally agree with you that most WITB makes me want a full set fitting!
Your not good enough
cant believe im sitting here watching this with genuine interest is wild. i love golf haha
Last Summer I purchased set of T100S Irons. They are beautiful and incredible to hit. Best of luck this week Max!!!
What a great video. Great to hear Joe break down his distances and types of shots
So good. Love that type of detailed breakdown
Amazing how well he can remember yardages and shot shapes from weeks or months ago.
Homa is getting a major this year. Team Titleist and team Blackburn!
Titleist hands down makes the best sticks in the business. Loving the TSR3 driver and 3W in my bag! 🙌🙌🙌
not true in the slightest pal. you are just a titleist fan boy
Other drivers trying to compete, T M release drivers every few month.
Very cool to get insight from Joe. Also enjoyed to hear what clubs he likes too. I hoping to see a green jacket on Max this weekend.
joe’s the best man. good stuff here!
it blows my mind that manufacturers and pros continue to post WITB without explaining shaft, tipping, swing weight, bounce, etc.
That’s not the caddies job
99% of people don't understand or care to be honest. It's that simple. People's eyes glaze over when some pros talk about bounce!
It blows my mind that some pros haven't got a clue what their own specs and builds are😂
@@aidanmccabe1981 bounce sure but the shaft is the most important thing for at least the woods
@@jpbackhouse they just care about feel and flight, atleast that’s what morikawa said. He said he doesn’t even know what his shaft technically is long as it’s able to hit the window he wants
What a great video. The knowledge dump is next level. Thanks titleist!
That was interesting even though we didn't get any info on shaft types, lengths, swing weights, grips etc etc

Yes, that’s really what I was looking for. Very disappointing video.
Great insight :) Seems like a nice guy!
Maxs childhood friend and a good player himself.
Excellent job Joe and Titleist ! Definitely one of the best W. I. T. B. that I’ve seen.
Love that he gets as excited for a perfect 7 wood number as I do
What a guy! Would love picking his brain or listening in mid-round with Max.
Love this video. Good luck Max and Joe!
I need to get a few rounds in with Joe when you guys come to the Canadian Open. Great content, as always. #teamtitleist
Wow super informative. I would’ve never guessed he had a driver and 3 wood and wedges.
Awesome rundown
Greiner does such an awesome job with this interview.
Videos like this make me realize PGA golfers play a totally different game than us weekend warriors 😂
I've got Max as my wild card on the official Masters app. Best of luck to you both. ❤️👍💯
homa in my top 3 Masters week...i just feel like he is getting do close to a major
bet him at the us open.. being played at the course he played in college and I think he might also have the course record there
@@MrHippo567 he does have the course record, also a terrible record in majors though. Hoping LACC is when he pulls thru
Love a Titleist setup. LFG Max bring er home!
Just got my TSR3, playing black T200 irons, 916h, vokeys and Scotty. Need a 3 or 5 wood to complete my bag. Transitioned from TM starting two seasons ago
Love the T100s! I was just able to score the limited release T100 blacks. These things are sexy!
8:11 he was about to say "we're closer to hitting this sh*t" but changed his mind 😂
They should give out 2 green jackets. Best of luck to the both of you this weekend. Cheers!
So - we now know the heads that he plays. But what about the shafts?
Shafts are important!
LA golf you think?
@@KMAN10694 Tensei 1K in driver. Ventus TR Red in 3 wood. Ventus red in 7 wood. KBS in irons and Wedges
We love Joe!!
Best witb yet.
I agree with him, I LOVE my T100s
Love this!!
Why not mention the grinds? There's so many options. Would Love to know if you or max are playing d or s grind, for example.
I’ve been playing Titleist since Jr. High school and now I’m 42 3.3 Handicap and I swear by their clubs best stuff out there for true golfers 🏌️♂️
I could see him and Max as a pair for his entire career
Go Max and Team Titleist!!
Shout out to all my golfers out there. Tip of the hat to those who know good golf equipment. Lol Titleist for life.
Go Team Titleist! Lets go Max!!!
Honma would love to have Homa play their clubs.
What 3W shaft is this!? It’s a half Ventus Black half Red. I am not privy to this one
No info on shafts, degrees & grips?!
cool video although thought it was a WITB, not a Max Homa yardages video
someday when I get new clubs I'm going Titliest for sure
Best witb ever
What models and shafts for each club joe?...
Pure gold
I wonder why he did not name the clubs...I know the irons are 620/T100.... specifically the utility wood and the three wood we didn't really see. I think the driver is a TSr3
3 and 7 wood are TSR2
Does he use graphite shafts on his irons or is that some type of black steel or something ? You don’t see to many graphite shaft irons in the pga.
KBS shafts
graphite shafts in the irons?
Let's go Max!!!
How can regular people get those wedges? 7:30
They look like regular vokey wedges with some personal inscriptions and stuff on the backside. You can get those at probably most club retailers.
Ya can’t. You’re a regular person
Joe is super intelligent 👏
How often does Max switch out golf balls during a round? I’ve always been curious how many balls the tour pros go through during a tournament. I usually use 1 ball for one 18-hole round…unless of course I lose it or it gets really scuffed up playing from the desert.
I've read before most guys use a ball for around 3 holes, more frequently if there's damage of course. Sand shots tend to scuff up the cover much more
Nicklaus used to use three in rotation I read. He reckoned it took a couple of holes for a ball to get back to round.
"He's getting a little bit older" He's cruising his driver 118 weekly, hes fine
Wish we could get a Titleist 7 wood in the uk, having 13 Titleist clubs and a ping 7 wood is annoying, any reason why you don’t offer it to the public?
Did you ask for it at a Titleist Performance Center? I was fitted for a 7-wood in the NL 2 years ago and there was no issue to get one.
They sell them at American Golf??
I’ve just checked, you can currently get the TSR2 in a 7 wood at AG, not the TSR3 though
Cool video, can i get 5 mins in the tour truck to build a bag? lol
Why do they never mention shafts in these?
10 degree driver?
Post more on max homa
My ball retriever is pretty accurate for about 15 feet
I too start smiling when I get a perfect 7w yardage 😂
Did max play at Torrey Pines?
maybe idk
Yes, he won the Farmers Insurance Open
Legend
He talks about caddying for homa like a wife talks about getting her husband to buy something. Had to convince him to get the t100s 🤣
Not a word on the types of shafts, flex etc. ???????
Interesting...i can't go bw G*PSL wedge its P 52,56,60 for me and most golfers
He hasn’t thrown it too much 😂
cussed 😂 8:12
did you all know the reason why pros hit their irons so far is they bend them to 3 degrees stronger.
Graphite?

Yea this missed the mark for the gear heads
Thanks for the feedback. We just added the details to the description. Thanks again!
Definitely TSR2 w/ Ventus Red instead of the TSR3 w/ Ventus Blue listed in the description though 😅
you can see all that on golfwrx if you search his name
Bros 😎!
Doesn't mention what short irons he hits and never show a clear picture of the short irons.

I wish Joe would name the series of wood. I’m assuming they’re all Tsr3.
3-wood: Titleist TSR3 (16.5 degrees, C1 SureFit setting)
7-wood: Titleist TSR2 (21 degrees, C1 SureFit setting)
Yeah you’d think titleist would want that info known and the heads shown more. It’s was very limited on actual info about the clubs other than 3 wood that goes x distance. What models, lofts etc.
Wrong. Driver is TSR3 The fairways are TSR2. Players don’t want low spin on long clubs aside from the driver.
Can I join the team I’m a 12 handicap and I’m so good
These are his clubs but not telling you what the actual club is or showing you. I guess they are all tsr3's?
"What's in the bag" and doesn't tell what clubs and what specs he uses....
shaft info would have been useful
If Max’s beard and Joe’s beard got in a fight, who would win?
LFG MAX
@titleist 😮💨
This makes me feel like caddies are playing the game rather than the players lol..in some alternate universe the caddies are the real stars
when he says 'we' he means 'Max'
Iron lie?
Specs 🙄
Just added those to the description. Thanks!
No shaft info 🤣 ffs
Tequila is what’s in the bag….
Get that ping hybrid outta here lol
