I don't know if channel will delete this comment. I just graduated from a Top university( US Ranking under 40 for national level, Top 150 internationally and Top 5 in country for my specific degree) and I will tell you this. If you want to do your masters and get a job successfully you must have at least 3 years of job experience in your relevant field in India, select a degree in same field, join only in the university that provides you scholarship, get a RA or TA before landing into USA, find good roommates and accommodation, maintain 3.5 above GPA while taking actual useful subjects and you definitely must do one year internship in single company or 6 month internship in 2 companies each within your masters period. And above all this you must have good networking skills because 50% jobs goes through references with current market conditions ( I have been in market for 1 year now and I have seen all ends of the spectrum), and must be mentally fit to tackle loneliness and food compatibility issues. If you think you can honestly keep up with this, then trust me you will get a job easily. If not do not even think to come over here. Take this as a warning and don't waste your precious time and money.
Things you mentioned is pretty obvious, that’s how you become adult. Did you apply for at least 500 companies? How much interviews did you give and failed? Dude prepare for interviews at least 18 hours a day for 3 months then come back and comment here. You have to work hard if you want a good life.
"High rish, high reward". Thats how it is. A large Indian population can sustain that. Though, the best way is to secure a job in US before moving then move there.
@placidnick100 High of you to assume that I am not working on my interviews. I have applied for more than 800 positions across LinkedIn, indeed, dice, glassdoor, and several talent acquisition agencies for full time, part time and contracts which includes and excludes sponsorship. Things are not the same dude. There are lot of ghost openings, companies are straight up hanging up the call if I say I need sponsorship in future, they are expecting 3 years of job experience as minimum for junior level positions. Don't just spout nonsense when you are not in my shoes
US visa system is completely broken. I have known students from top tier universities return to India because the stupid lottery system did not pick them!

This video is more like a opinion piece with a single data point. Their video was more researched, they interviewed uber drivers first hand with saveral data points.
It was not researched. I live in USA and have visited India… nothing in India can be compared side by side with USA. If you compare housing prices.. which you can’t.. USA houses come with central ac and heating and insulation. A lot tech innovations and regulations go into it… and they are way nicer than most houses even rich ppl in India live in. Most houses are in cities that are the best in the world when it comes to entertainment, jobs, attractions, connectivity. Even the areas Bollywood actors live in India looks disgusting and some expensive apartment complexes look rundown from outside with garbage piles on roads and potholes… you can’t compare that even to the general area of Beverly Hills let alone more exclusive ones. India is in no way near anywhere to be compared with India. Heck even Sri Lanka looks way cleaner, prettier and nicer than most of India I’ve visited

This is how I see it - US is about "high risk, high reward" for an outsider. Basically, the US has implemented a system where only high-valued individuals are brought into society. While aavey tv ignored complexities in almost all the points they brought up. US health system isn’t as bad as most ppl think… most ppl are covered by the insurance that comes with their job which also covers their family and once you are 60+ there’s Medicaid, Medicare, Obamacare. USA has the most innovative healthcare system in the world. When rich Indians get sick and need good care or radical surgeries… where do you think they go? Not any hospital in India. Because they know the quality is not there… they go to USA.
All comments are meaningless. At this point in time, it just depends on your H1B approval and nothing else. I have immensely talented friends who have returned to India because they didn’t get H1B. But there were some average folks who did get. People who went to US before covid or until 2021 are pretty much the last batch who only had to worry about jobs and upskilling and completing the masters Those who go there now will have to worry about there luck which not correlated to anything. It’s commonsense that if more people chase something, the lesser the number of people who actually get it. You don’t need for and against videos on it.
