Thanks Tomo, I really appreciate you checking this out!
Man imagine if this actually came out in the 80s! This would have absolutely went platinum.
Thanks for listening!
Old School💯⏳
Thanks so much for listening!
Wonderful melody. Celebrating the phrasing of Larry Carleton and then some.
Thanks so much for listening!
Unreal stuff Ben! Love the aesthetic of the video too!
Thank you so much for checking it out, Jack!!
Nice man!
Thanks so much! 😃
This has strong 90s sitcom intro vibes, very nice!
I would love to hear this in the opening credits! Lol. Thanks for listening! 😀
Great composition and extremely tastful playing and skill , great 👍 tone
Thanks for listening, Donald!
très impressionnant ! j'adore ce morceau de musique. Merci et bravo pour ce joli moment de guitare et de musique.
Thank you so much for listening!
I am currently obsessed with this 80's session type of sound. The electronic drums, electric piano, and your guitar playing are all amazing 🏖😎
Thanks!
The melody is beautiful. The solo is of highly intellectual choices and perfect in every way. To see that its a single… im blown away that it is ONE song only. I love it. It gives me peace, motivation and inspiration.
Coming from some one who played guitar for 15 years in a small music career of 3.5 years.
This song motivates me to begin where i left off due to work and life.
I really appreciate it, thank you!
impressive!!!!!
Thanks!!
Great tune Ben! Melting smooth jazz fusion with outside licks à la Holdsworth
Thanks so much for listening!

Have you ever heard Reb Beach's fusion demos? This song and the lyrical theme really remind me of that.
I hadn't heard these recordings before, checking it out now - great stuff!
Love it, Ben.
thanks so much!!

Thanks for checking it out, Nick!
@@beneunson thank you for your friendship!
Nice😮
Thanks!
Can someone recommend some 80s / 90s bands who made music like this? Been listening to this a lot, looking for more music like this. The synths, the jazz chord changes, the sitcom-y intro vibes.
EDIT: Oh, and great job Ben :) Already transcribed 1:40-2:20, my favorite section!
Check out The Rippingtons, Spyro Gyra, Yellowjackets, Pieces of a Dream, T-Square, and Casiopea.
Four Play is a bit like this but this is pretty unique
Uzeb, trio from Montréal. Check out one of their last concert live 1991.

Thanks Ben for this great compo :)
Daryl Stuermer has quite alot of albums like this, and some Norman Brown! :)
Thank you so much for listening! I really appreciate it
Tab please, Also watching you play this made me jump on the purchase for the AZES31 in Ivory, just looks too dang good.
Thanks so much for checking this out!
I have to agree with Tom Quayle! An absolute gorgeous tune. Beautiful playing Ben.
Thank you so much, Sam!!
🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
😀
Duuude, nice to see someone like you play this guitar :))
I bought the hss one with the intention to delve into s type guitars and love it
Thanks so much! It’s a great instrument!!
Awesome your tone is incredible what pedal are you using
Wow this is so mid 80s music! Totally dig this, plus the video is spot on 80s with that stop stop images. Amazing!
Thank you so much for watching!
@@beneunson to be honest, after watching your vid last year. It helped me decide to go for the AZES. Thanks brother! You’re such and inspiration. Cheers!
@@aelmorky I'm so glad to hear it! Thanks for letting me know 😀
@@beneunsonand until now if I need inspiration I go back and watch this vid of yours. ;) such an uplifting music. Looking forward to more of your music. Cheers!
@@aelmorky Thank you so much, that's fantastic! More new music on the way soon 😀
sounds like Smokey's in the house!
Great tune!
I've been interested in this guitar for economic reasons....Is the neck/middle humbucker(Series?usable as a humbucker tone?
Thanks so much! Yes that pickup setting works great, you can hear me using it here: ruclips.net/video/l4GniRxfQX0/видео.html
Thanks for that! It DOES sound like a pretty convincing humbucker tone. I like a nice semi chunky neck being a strat/jazzbox guy and it looks to be substantial enough? You've also got me interested in you AM-153 Artstar as I like the 335 type sound but not the HUGE flat body...Have you seen that new AMH90? Same shape as the AM-153 but totally hollow..If so, have you tried one?@@beneunson
Beautyful music! Your shirt reminds me John Petrucci Ibanez.😅👌👌👌
Thank you so much for listening!
Great playing style😎🇫🇮👍🏻. And the Ibanez look really great and sound nice, but it may be so expensive??🤔
Thanks so much for watching! Yes, this is on the Ibanez AZES which is a more budget-friendly (but excellent) model
Great, superb ! Pedalboard , rig specs?
Thanks! Updated gear video coming soon!
incredible theme! Ben, what camera do you use for your videos, a hug!!!
Thank you so much! I'll talk about cameras/gear in an upcoming video! 😀
I want the backing track to this so bad
80's Frank Gambale vibes 😅
Thanks for checking it out, Oscar!
You’ve gotten more soulful. Miles Davis WOULD like this.
I appreciate it, thanks so much for listening!
Tabs? :(
Coming soon! 😀
grouse
thanks Sean!
Ben, congratulations on your unique and sophisticated sound. Great tune! 🤟
Thanks so much!
At last! A little bit of overdrive and some bends!
Ben Genius!
I was expecting this, more dirty sound and other phrases. It would be tremendous if you upload some impros on common progressions.
Thank you so much! More videos to come!
@@beneunson It's really outstanding your playing.
Beautiful! Wonderful tone!!
Thanks Ray!
Thank You!
