I would rather stay home than get robbed by BA on a CW flight out of Gatwick. What they charge for these filthy worn-out seats and cabins is an embarrassment to the airline. I wouldn't even waste Avios on them.
The trouble of course is that there's not much choice to some of their destinations. And until the competition is there, there's not much incentive to improve the product...
@@TravelsWithAsh Absolutely, and BA capitalise on that situation. BA IS my go to airline , just not when Gatwick is mentioned as all the worn out old bangers are 'semi-retired' there. Thing is. since almost all passengers on Gatwick aircraft are leisure travellers, BA think they are divi - and can just provide the minimum. I will only fly out of LHR now - in First or CW when the aircraft is configured with the Club Suites.
I wonder how much longer these older aircraft will stagger on...
I agree, but BA must make so much money from them, even if they're not very fuel efficient.
