Welcome to the official tour of our 2022 travel trailer. It's a Jayco 267 bhsw with the Rocky Mountain and Baja packages. We tow it with a 2018 F150 with the King Ranch package, so no massive truck required to tow it either. As of posting this RV tour we are embarking on a 100 Day USA RV trip (We're Canadian) and will be showing our RV lifestyle in action, link below here for the episode that starts the RV Vlog series! Cheers friends 😀🍁! - USA RV Trip Vlog 1! ruclips.net/video/0XpHu5SJP2A/видео.html
Hello! Great video! Just subscribed to your channel. 😊 My boyfriend and I bought our first Jayco travel trailer last month. We are going to travel across the country starting in May!
Hey, thanks for watching! Congrats on the purchase for you guys. Sounds like you have a big fun trip coming up as well hope it all goes smooth and easy for ya. It's such a fun lifestyle. So take it slow and enjoy all the experiences that come with it 😁🍁
Yeah, we had a class C and then bought a travel trailer too. You will appreciate it so much more!!!! Love your camper, so happy you’re in the U.S. I hope you have a great time ❤️
I’m sure with your young growing family you will love your purchase. We love our 30 foot class c but need a toad to explore. Enjoy your US trip. Look forward to all your video updates
Thanks Peter! Yeah without a get around vehicle it's a bit limiting. Not ideal to always be packing up the motorhome for a day trip. Guess one way or another something has to be towed depending on your style haha. Cheers!🙂🍁
As always, your videos are great and glad to see that you're back on the road. We recently switched from travel trailer to class c rear kitchen model and love it. But having owned a few trailers I can tell you from experience that you should carry more than one spare tire and carry a 2'x4'x 3/4" plywood and a 1 ton floor Jack. The alignment and proper camber on trailer axles are terrible and it can sometimes take longer to find a replacement tire than you would expect. Also, carry bearing grease and check them often and put a little grease on your hitch.
So useful right. It's things like bigger fridges that can really help make a smaller space like an RV be more functional for longer trips etc. Loving our new rig and hope you guys have a happy camping season in yours 🙂🍁
Hey there, thanks for the tour! This looks like a really nice model. I like the floorplan quite a bit, the only thing I wish it had is a door to the bedroom. I have a question: In the roughly year that you've had it, can you say about how many months you've had the slide open? I'm thinking of getting one of these to spend many months at a time in and I keep seeing warnings about not leaving the slide open but most of those are coming from the perspective of someone who's opening and closing it regularly for traveling and so forth. I'd be keeping mine open longterm if possible but I don't know how well it would stand up to such a thing.
Your travel trailer is beautiful. We liked seeing you could access everything when the slide is in. That’s very important to us in our motorhome. Chloe is adorable and Alysha you look amazing. You’d never know you had a baby.
Thanks Jac glad you enjoyed it! We agree, being able to use it with the slide in is so important for rest stops, but even if you didn't want to put it out one night at least you have the option. Thanks for watching 🙂 🍁
Woo-hoo…We love your new camper. I told my wife while watching you guys, you can see the glow in their face with happiness. Thanks for sharing. Tell Khloe hello for us. She is adorable. You know when y’all announce you were expecting I said it was a girl from the very beginning.😂
Haha hey Steve! I'll be sure to remind her! Yeah loving this new set up for us, such a good sized rig to create all these memories in. Still feels hard to believe we're in the USA and getting to do all this. Loving and appreciating every minute of it though!🙂🍁
Another great video Luke and Alysha. Thank you kindly for the tour. Love your choice of upgrades. The lithium batteries and 2 - 30 lb Propane Tanks will come in handy for sure. Great use of storage too. Love those baskets. Wishing you all the best for safe and happy travels.
Hi Guy's. You may miss the Adventurer when its raining and can just walk to the back when parked. We do after selling ours but to have a vehicle smaller to get around will make up for it. Can't wait to follow on your trip! Very exciting! Safe travels!!
True that part would be handy! Hopefully not an issue for us too often 🤞. Going to love the extra floor space and the truck to get around as the trade off at least. Lots to see and explore this year!🙂🍁
Exactly right! The white just makes it feel so much more inviting and more of an enjoyable space than if it was dark. Just the right size for towing too 🍁
You will love having the oven. Mine looks about the same size, and it cooks very evenly. I love to make muffins on cool morning. I also use it to keep items warm while cooking multiple parts of a meal. I put pancakes on a plate and pop them in the oven as I cook all the batter. I would not buy an RV without an oven since I use mine so much.
The keeping things warm with it is a really good idea. We've been using the new Blackstone grill a lot so far this year but will have to take advantage of having the new oven more too. Going to have to get used to the new items and options we have we aren't used to using haha. Cheers guys 🙂🍁
What a beautiful trailer guys, even a spot for old eastern Canadian guys that have nothing to do. Hahahahaha Looks amazing guys I’m so happy for you. Cheers
Haha hey hey there Frank! Sure a lot of space in it compared to the Class C right. Going to be so nice traveling and exploring out of the new home base. Take care!!🙂🍁
Love the new intro guys! This was fun to see how you've set it up. I realized I missed our spring RV show (which I LOVE attending) and the next one isn't until fall - so this video gave me a little of that enjoyment back 😁. Looking forward to the next video as the travel begins. Cheers!
Alysha, here's a hack for getting your greasy stuck on pans clean. When you are done using them put some hot water in and sprinkle some baking soda in the pan and let it soak for maybe 10-15 minutes add a little dish soap and you'll find how much easier it is to get the stuck on stuff out after soaking and baking soda. I also sprinkle some directly on the tough spots as I'm scrubbing and it comes off much faster.
Hi there! Sorry for the slow reply but found the link to the one we bought. amzn.to/3xyu5y1 It's been working great and was a nice easy replacement option. Thanks for watching and happy camping! 😃🍁
Love your videos! We are looking for a new trailer since we added to our family too. We need to figure out the best sleeping arrangement for our 14 month old. Love what you did for Chloe! Can I ask which brand pack n play that is?
@@meg-qb3in well I found out that the trailer they have, Jayco Jay flight 267bh, has good height in their bottom bunk making it easier to find side zip pack n plays that’ll fit. Hey thanks Karen, appreciate it! Always grateful for everyone who tunes in and checks out our journey. Usually all nice people too thankfully haha. Hope you have a great Sunday!🙂🍁
Nice!! We are just waiting for our ‘22 267BHS (not Rocky Mountain Edition) to finish being built so we can use it this summer! Loved the video…. except for the part with the “Ford” in it 🙄🙄.. lol
Nice! We're loving the floor plan and all the space it offers. A little tiny home on wheels for getting out. Thanks for watching, and sorry about disappointing you with the Ford haha 😂🍁
Great video. Do you have a link for the swing arm TV mount? I need one as well and didn't know that they make them with a lock to keep it from moving, which would be perfect for what I need.
Hey there! Sorry for the slow reply, had to track down the mount we bought but here is the link to it! amzn.to/3xyu5y1 It's been working well for us and is a nice affordable and easy replacement. Makes you wonder why they don't just use these from the get go. Take care and thanks for watching 🙂🍁

Just something practical of separating the motor from home. Hope you find what you're looking for and works for you though! Sure you've been busy with the property and all so best wishes for 2022 travels and fun 😄🍁

What kind of engine does your 2018 Ford F-150 King Ranch have, a V6 or a V8? I know that the 2016 Ford E-350 Adventurer Class C RV that you had was powered by the 6.8 liter Triton V10 engine.
Only ever had a few occasions where sway was a little noticeable doing interstate speeds on windy days but thankfully majority of the time it was never even a thought. We do have a pretty beefy weight distribution hitch with built in sway control too though! As for speeds and pulling the 3.5L ecoboost seems solid and Google says it's rated for quite a bit heavier still which i'd believe. Did great! 🍁
We are getting our new trailer at the end of April. Changing from a amerilite 198bh to a hideout 262bh. Bigger, roomier and brighter! hahaha I was wondering if you had a link for your baskets on top of you bed. We have the same type of shelf and I want to do something similar. Your camper is really nice! ours is similar in color scheme. :)
Nice, that does sound like a nice roomier upgrade. The extra floor space in a smaller area sure goes a long way and the new brighter interiors are such a fresh change. No specific link for the baskets sadly, just happened to find them in Walmart when browsing. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy the new rig 🙂🍁
She's sitting out the USA journey at least. Between the extra border work for papers etc, having her sit through multiple 4+hr driving days and worrying about her in desert heat while we were out on trips it just didn't seem worth it. She'll get out for some Canada trips later in the year though!😺🍁
One Question. Love those baskets in the bedroom. Can i ask if they came with the trailer or did you purchase them. We live in Canada as well. maybe we could find them. Thanks.
Nothing storagewise came with it unfortunately. The badkets above the bed were at Walmart I believe and the metal wire ones below we had from Amazon and the previous RV 🙂🍁
I have to imagine area can vary the price but from what we seen around the 50k mark then depending on add ons, slide toppers etc, if trade in value or cash value etc. It's a hot market still like these last few years have been for the dealers. Happy shoppin'!
Hey there Wilma! Yeah she sure is pretty. Also good call on the pots and pans! We just switched that after filming actually haha. Chloes stuff was on the bottom one so put them up to and the heavy stuff down low. Thanks for watching 😄🍁
“Rated to 4500lbs or something like that” luke - RUclips - April 2022. Hold that slide button in for another 4-5 seconds when retracting and you will hear the Motors synchronize. Do this every few times. I’m not gonna mention “big and deep” Would be very childish and immature 🤣😂 I have a cheap 1080 usb player plugged into ours that plays all my downloaded movies easily to the TVs. Top tip ! Always have all bond movies and some top gear.
Haha thanks! Good tips as well. We did just recently also buy a USB C for our cellphones to hdmi cord that works great. So handy to be able to watch stuff right off the phone on TV I could hardly believe a cord existed that could turn the charging port into an hdmi and work. No more red yellow white cords 😂🍁

@@LukeandAlysha Thankyou for responding. We appreciate it and will try to find them. Best of luck Guy's!!!!
Love it guys! algorithm 👊💪
Thanks Adam!🍁
I don't need to know exactly your price but with the Baja and mountain package what are they roughly selling for?beautiful unit safe travels 👍
I have to imagine area can vary the price but from what we seen around the 50k mark then depending on add ons, slide toppers etc, if trade in value or cash value etc. It's a hot market still like these last few years have been for the dealers. Happy shoppin'!
Stay safe god bless
Thanks Bernie appreciate it🙂🍁
love the trailer..love the colours.....but speaking from experience....those heavy pot and pans should "not" be on the top shelf!!!
Hey there Wilma! Yeah she sure is pretty. Also good call on the pots and pans! We just switched that after filming actually haha. Chloes stuff was on the bottom one so put them up to and the heavy stuff down low. Thanks for watching 😄🍁
I personally would not tow longer than 25’ trailer with a half ton truck.

Hold that slide button in for another 4-5 seconds when retracting and you will hear the Motors synchronize.
Do this every few times.
I’m not gonna mention “big and deep”
Would be very childish and immature 🤣😂
I have a cheap 1080 usb player plugged into ours that plays all my downloaded movies easily to the TVs.
