Elderflower Cordial, Bats, Twickenham and Heatwave (May 2022)

Living in London Journal: It's time to plant out the seedlings in the greenhouse while back home it's time to make elderflower cordial. The bats are out in the garden and there is a local plant stall to visit along with a trip to Twickenham stadium (The Official Home of England Rugby).

About 45 years ago an old neighbour used to make elderflower "champagne". It was wonderful and Ive never tasted anything as good since.

I've tried elderflower cordial from the shops, but it is so expensive.Now you've put a video up about making it I will give it a go and will be careful not to cut my thumb up 😂 Take care Sean 💜

Wow Sean see I always learn something new from your videos. I have actually never heard of this Elder Flower recipe before. If I remember correctly I believe I bought An elderflower drink from a health food store a few years ago here in Canada. They recommended using it with tonic as a non alcoholic alternative to gin. I thought it was nice. 😊

My gran used to make elderberry wine every year, we had to wait until the end of August before we could have a taste
