I feel you're stating all the obvious stuff, while not mentioning the only thing I really need to know - how to keep the subject framed? Du you use the Crane's tracking feature? Are you manually 'pointing' the camera using the joystick? Or the handle, with PF or F mode?
im using crane 2, when i have it low to ground and bring it straight up high in pan mode, once it gets high in the air for some reason it likes to whip to the side, and a couple times it just died on me and i had to shut gimbal off and restart it and it worked again but did it a few times one day, thats another issue though and may be related to the cable i connected to it via usb so i could control zoom and power.
I get lots of little pan jitter when doing 'orbit' shots - the camera is very well balanced and the gimbal is using latest firmware and is calibrated...
man^ this video contains same jitters)) you dont see that because lens is too wide) i use Plus Crane for 1 year and quite unhappy , have to use afterEfect motion stabilize
Thanks for sharing. What is your Zhiyun Crane setting. That's an important part as well. Can you share? I find that a deadband of 10 makes panning smooth.
Awesome move! I am learning a lot thanks to you!!! I really need to try this with my new ronin s :) . However I have a question : when I do the first orbit move, I feel tat the camera does not follow the subject . How shoul I fix this? (I am not talking about the autofocus here but more that I don't not how to move so the subject stay in the frame ) Have a great day ! :) Théodora
when doing orbit, what mode should i choose the best? PF or F mode?sometimes my orbit shot on a moving object sometimes failed because it will be kicking by the gimbal..and on a canon 80D+18-55 kit lens what motor strength should i choose?low or med?
Thanks for your videos! Thanks to you. I could balanced crane plus. It was a nightmare without your help! Do you know if anyway to be able to make with crane plus and camera canon 200d night timelipses with long exposure? The promotion for this looks incredible awesome. But cables are only for this machines. I was wondering if there is anyway to get this, finding the way. I dont have camera sony unfortunately.
Hey Josh. Another great video. Could you tell us at what fps did you record the footage and how much you slowed it down (and speed ramped it) to achieve the results in the video. I think I'm able to record my footage alright using the techniques you've described, but my finished product never resembles yours. I have a feeling it's my speed (slowmo and ramp) as well as color grading that's needing some more work. Keep up the great work with the channel!
I am very disappointed with my Zhiyun Crane v2. They say it can handle 1800 g but it could'nt even handle 1200g. I wanted to mount my Sony A6000, Sigma 16mm 1.4, Zoom H5 and the SHG- 6 capsule on the Crane v2 but it lost power during use and scratched up my lens. AAAGGHHHH! I tried to contact Zhiyun but I have not gotten any answer yet. Also, the carrying bag it came with was broken. The pin holding together the locking mech is very loose.
I know you wrote this a year ago, but... You could mount the mic and recorder to the gimble handle instead of the camera hot shoe. Or just the mic, and recorder on a belt clip.
Best friend ever, just stood there like a champ. Always great vids, thanks so much!
This company should be paying you.. you do amazing tutorials
what mode did you use at first? L mode or PF mode?
PF!
@@MomentumProductions1992 are you twisting the gimbal any to keep the subject centered?
Excellent product!

You using AF for these shots?
Yes.
Momentum Productions wow very clean. Love the grading as well, great channel man keep it up. You got my support 💪👍
how do you prevent the camera from whipping left or right when you pan or circle around someone? it keeps snapping on me
Can you show me a video of your issue?

Which Pan value do you prefer for orbit shots?
Hi... Manual focus or auto focus ? Tks
Great informative vid. Really helpful
Nice!...I shot a short film with the crane 2.... I am considering buying the Crane 3!
You’re not using any stabilization in the camera?

"F" mode :)
Thanks for the lesson bro. Would you use the Bluetooth remote with the gimbal?
this is definatly great for people who have a DUEL HANDLE SYSTEM TEACH US HOW TO DO IT WITH JUST THE GIMBAL GODAMIT
This is a dumb comment. You can do it with just the gimbal the same way...

What's happening when I try to orbit but it is drifting? Is it because my pan is set too slow?
What frame rates do u use in these tutorials? Variable?
Thanks for the video!

I did not use slow motion here. Only speed ramping, over 500%. FPS: 60

What lense did you use
PRO MIST
Great tips! Now how about a "trumboning" shot?
Why wasn't I subscribed before,good stuff.
Very good. Did you shot in gimbal lock mode?
Pan follow and full follow mode.
Why don't you use your motion tracking?
Not too efficient because I have to attach my phone all the time. I'd rather just do it the manual way :)
nice job man very helpful . one question : crane plus give power to sony cameras?
thanks in advance
Yes it can!
Crane plus maxpayload?

Momentum Productions good for me, canon 80d 2lb, lens recommended for video with the 80d?
Yokozuna..!!
Genial!
If you have the room, use a long lens for the full Michael Bay effect.
