Hi Loren I love watching your videos I have a French provincial bedroom suit poster bed a dresser and chest and I want to paint them there already White I’m 67 years old I got it when I was a small child what do you suggest I do??? I need help!
I love watching your videos!! So much info!!❤. I do wish the music was toned down just a tad. It’s kinda sensory overload trying to listen to you. I appreciate you though!
I wish I was young and healthy like you. I am 70 years old, with degenerative disc disease. I flip furniture to make ends meet with my social security income, but can only work in 30 minute increments then I need to lie down to ease my back pain. Slowly but surely I get them done. You are an inspiration to me, and I love your work!
I love that you have found a new passion! I have been a nurse for many years and sometimes you just want to do something different. I admire you for doing it at such a young age! You can always go back to teaching somewhere down the road! Enjoy the ride Lauren I love your videos!
Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included ruclips.net/user/postUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.
You two make a great team! I see folks that have to do all of it and it’s really hard! They film the project and THEN they have to edit it too! Neiman is a real pro! Just wanted to give him so well deserved credit. Gorgeous pieces. I never liked French provincial because I thought it was too frilly. But these pieces have changed my mind. I suppose the fake white ones with gold everywhere insulted my view? Lol
I know exactly what French provincial furniture you’re talking about! The white always seems to yellow with time making it look worse. The shape of the furniture is what redeems it. I hope I can get my hands on one of those pieces someday, there would be zero painter’s remorse in covering up the ugly finish.
@@angelagenx6629 I unfortunately had this furniture growing up. I was a tomboy through and through. My bedroom was pink, with rose curtains with French provincial canopy bed and the whole bedroom set. My mom looooooved it! Lol

I am glad that you found your niche for teaching. I am sure you are an awesome kindergarten teacher, but this type of adult education is so important right now. You two do an excellent job as a team!
Here’s a tip with the gilding wax, it’s oil based and will clean up with mineral spirits. It does need to cure around 48 hours before painting over it with something water based. You did a really nice job with the set, it looks very pretty and professional.
Everything you do is beautiful you deserve every penny .... as I’ve said before I love re-doing furniture BUT it just doesn’t sell in my location 😢 hello to Neiman and your family 💜 ps I do love to watch the price drop on FBMP when someone is selling something that most see as trash we see 💎 and how sad some people post with awful backgrounds or literal TRASH on/ in the furniture 🤢🤢🤢 anyway my family and I love to watch we pray God continues to bless y’all !!!! Well done!!! The pieces look absolutely beautiful, stunning!! I love watching your videos. I am going to paint my nesting tables in about a couple of weeks which will be my first ever paint project.
Would love to see a video that covers detail on the surfpro sander and vaccum system you use. How you set it up, pros/cons Also same for specific video on setting up and using paint sprayer, pros/cons, etc.. Thanks!
Thank you for your detailed explanations and demonstrations. I enjoy watching and learning from you. For about 40 years my husband and I have my grandparents French provincial bedroom set. I was a child when they bought it new. I remember the satisfaction it gave them to purchase it. Over the years I’ve thought about refinishing it. I wish I could. Maybe in the future I will be able to with help. I was thinking about just cleaning it with the white lightning and just cleaning and painting the hardware to freshen it up. Thanks again for effectively teaching and demonstrating how to give new life to beautiful old things.
Man, that set was so beautiful after you cleaned it up. It killed to watch you scuff it. lol. I would have just painted the hardware... BUT it did look lovely after also and you already had a customer.
French Provincial seems to be popular. It's my favorite, too. And I love 💕💕💕 what you did with them. I can't decide if I like the butter cream better or the dark blue 😍
Those came out awesome! My wife and I just picked up a french provincial dresser and nightstand that we'll probably be working on soon! By the way, we've both been covered in paint before.😄
Lauren, you are an inspiration!!! I have been going along one piece at a time and working full time. I know it’s a bit of work to flip but I would so love to retire from my j.o.b. So I will persevere! Thanks for being so transparent!!
I bought that exact bedroom suit in 1982 or 1983 from a furniture store in Houston, Texas. I want to say it was Star Furniture, but can’t remember for sure. I even had the mirror to attach to the long dresser and a queen headboard. After moving that heavy stuff numerous times, I sold pieces in a garage sale and gave away what didn’t sell around 2002. Wish I still had it now.
Amazing to hear you doing this full time. I'm really loving your channel and if this is something I could get into and be happy doing what I love I'm down! Your pieces came out amazing as always!
Ahhh...French Provincial...my fav next to mcm .Beautiful !You're getting really good at using the sprayer,Lauren. Can't believe the deal on these dressers...lucky.😁😘
Such beautiful pieces & only one Benjamin?! Jackpot! I’m trying not to even look at Marketplace. I have 3 pieces of my own to work on. My hubs bought matching end tables, at a yard sale. I’m okay with that because I have almost everything I need to do all the work needed. Now I have to get them finished before I can start my own projects. I have gained a great deal of confidence since I finished my first piece. YOU Lauren, helped me get here. I am grateful that you share your knowledge with us. I have a good tip about your paint jars, primer jars, etc… You can put Vaseline around the outer top edge, where the lids screws on, to keep the lids from getting stuck. You probably already know that though. Thank you for getting me through the nerve wracking process of just not knowing what to do. You’re the best! 💕
Thanks for all your videos. I was inspired by your last French Provincial set & I was lucky enough to find a long dresser & nightstand for $60. I’m in the process of cleaning them & I got the buttercream color. Now to start spraying.
I absolutely adore your videos and you have inspired me to start flipping furniture as well! I’ve watched a couple of your videos and you have taught me a lot so far! I am hoping this will help me put money aside to help pay for my Master’s Degree as an animation student! Love your videos!!
I LOVE THAT MIDNIGHT SKY!!! I just picked up a French Provincial night stand--3 drawers with the SAME hardware shown in your video! I can't WAIT to transform it and I think I will be using the Midnight Sky!!! It is GLORIOUSLY beauty-FUL! LOVE YOU, Lauren!!!
Just bought Dixie Belle Silk Mineral Paint (color is Anchor). Painting a very old heavy wooden dresser with a harp mirror. Will begin as soon as the cicadas are done. You were the inspiration, thank you!
