Thank you so much for this video on treating Parkinson’s … my dear wife has kept her Ketones above 1.5 + through fasting and strict diet for last 8 months and the improvements have been a true miracle…. You gave me the love of my life back. If anyone is on the fence please try it … for us it’s been life changing.
Hello. I'm from Brazil and I need some help. I'm very familiar with the low carb diet and the ketone bodies, I've treated my grandmother's Alzheimer's for years with low carb diet and coconut oil with very good results. But now my father was diagnosed with parkisons, and I'm looking for these ketone esters, but I'm only finding BHB here in Brazil and I need to know if BHB would work exactly as D-BHB. Besides that, anything you can tell me how to do it right for parkisons I would very much appreciate. Thanks

What a brave man, great interview. Thank you for bringing a voice to people like this. Fair play to him for making a change!! I have gone keto (well my own high fibre version) since may 8th 2023. I don’t have Parkinson’s but felt I was on a slippery slope to weight gain and physical break-down of “ageing” so I got going. Little did I know that it would TRANSFORM our lives, as in me, my oldest overweight son who lost all the weight and became a happy charming boy again from a moody angry boy, my second son, 14 who was transformed into non-moody happy spot and dandruff free guy, daughter who became nice! Second daughter who is more reasonable (she’s 11), and darling husband who lost all worry and work stress!!! We are a family transformed and feel armed for the white carb refined sugar future we were facing!! We do still have our food fun occasionally like xmas and birthdays etc, but honestly happiness and health are entirely possible!!! ❤🎉 we need more channels like yours, thank you!!
I know this was made long ago, but I am horrified that... I am involved as a participant of a large, long Parkinson's Study (I do not have the diagnosis). I regularly answer surveys that ask about everything from sleep to medications to exercise ... not ONE question about nutrition or diet.

Saeid Momtahan, the hardest part is I live half way across the country from my parents. I just spent 8 days with them trying to get his meds right and help them with nutrition. Unfortunately I think as soon as I leave they go back to cheap easy processed foods.
I've read that deep brain stimulation helps, but that's a pretty drastic costly surgical procedure. There's a thing called intra nasal photobiomodulation that doesn't require surgery but can still stimulate a deep region of the brain. It's not a therapy yet for Parkinsons, but one can do it for just general brain wellness.
This is such an uplifting testimony and a life changer for all of to prevent PD, immune diseases even dementia. So grateful Keto helped William and that he’s sharing his success with us.

This RUclips video was sent to me by a friend. I’d already subscribed to the channel but missed this one. I was diagnosed last summer with PD with just mild symptoms and entered an Drug Research program. It pushed me from Stage One into Stage Two. I withdrew from the program and decided I needed to take responsibility for myself and this disease. I stumbled upon the Gut-Brain connection, started putting 2 and 2 together and started intermittent fasting with Bulletproof coffee and C8 MCT Oil. In 8 weeks I lost 20 pounds, down from 179 to 159. (I’m 5”8” and 66 years old). My symptoms have all but disappeared. I have a slight tremor on and off in my right thumb and my signature has returned to normal after 6 years. I take high doses of Magnesium Citrate for the leg cramps which have pretty much disappeared too and takes care of the constipation. I harvested stinging nettle roots, freeze dried them (I have a HarvestRight freeze dryer) then made a tincture out of it. I use an eye dropper full twice a day which solved the BPH prostate issues causing difficulty in urination. It suppresses the estrogen that causes BPH. The Germans use that over Flomax with no adverse side effects. Excellent video, now I need to find a Keto Dietician since this is too much for my wife to handle. Wow, is this man a science teacher? he looks as if he has our friend stumped with his true knowledge!.thank you for this video. God Bless you, your here for a reason sir, to spread your word and life story. Your very intelligent for a man who had been diagnosed with Parkinson's

Don’t know how this popped up, being that it’s a few years old-but I am so grateful I got to see it. I have a dear loved one with Parkinson’s, and am trying to learn all I can about the disease, in hopes of helping. ❤
Mr Curtis knows more science than most scientists. Brilliant. And is able to explain the chemistry for the laymen. I will share with friends with PD. Some of us are taking NMN to increase NADH+ Recent research on this will probably help. Thank you for this!
Im in England @ they need to get on board with this link .. we are so far behind ...i wish ....for keto to be taught on our NHS ..service gosh that would be great...my mum has dementia ...and i am at the age now when she started with it..a.i had major problems with my memory scared the life out of me ...I started Keto 5 weeks ago @ now my mind is super charged ..i imtermittant fast ..@ihave never felt better ....
I'm liking your videos!! Mr. Curtis speaks like a chemist or molecular biologist, and if he is such it must be why he was intellectually able to dive deep into the science here, making it work in his life. Most people lack either the conviction, intelligence, or both to benefit from their own research.
Amazing, what a blessing to us you are Mike! Thank you for finding these people and moving this information into our minds and hearts. May the Lord richly bless and multiply your efforts.
I have 2 great friends with Parkinson's. I will share this with them. I was wondering about Keto and Parkinson's, but this is the first time I've seen a video on YT bringing the 2 together. Thanks.
I've always worried about my fillings, but I've had them in for about 32 yrs, with no symptoms of a neuro condition. I think I have 8. I've thought about having them removed, but I've heard that's risky too, and I'd probably have to foot the bill. How much was it for you?
This is insanely interesting! Bill is highly intelligent and I am so happy for him that he's found solutions to keep his Parkinson's from progressing. The younger guy who is interviewing him is kind.
I wish I knew about keto before , when my Dad had Parkinsons .No-one in the Medical profession told us about ketones . This information provision platform is priceless and the providers are helping people in a wonderful way ....thank you .
I wonder if this gentleman is a Doctor or a Chemist! He is very knowledgeable especially with the scientific terms! God bless him! This is a good video to share with those who have Parkinson's and others who are carb addicts plagued with inflammation.
I sent this video to my cousin who has PD. I hope he watches and tries this method. I’m on a keto diet and doing really well. I just suffered a concussion so I’m please it can help that as well. Thank you, I have subscribed
I've been watching this channel for about a year, so it's kind of cool to see one of these older videos! It's easy to see now why a carnivore or ketogenic style diet with high amounts of healthy fat would help the cardiovascular and central nervous system
Thank you Mike! I cried through most of this interview because my dad died of Parkinson's related issues a few years back. I cant tell you how he struggled. I just hope people will see this so it can help them at least cope. My dad also had Alzheimer's and I hate to say I was thankful sometimes because he could not remember how he suffered the day before. My dad died because he could not swallow anymore. I am intrested in this interview because it helps me be preventitive. I fast most days and eat low carb however I don't know if I am Keto because I eat vegies. I enjoy all your interviews so much!
Rhonda - I eat a lot of vegetables and my ketone levels are generally over 1.0 and most times closer to 2.5, and that's without MCT or other supplementation. Dr. Berg eats 7-10 cups of vegetables per day and he stays in ketosis. I found that the longer I stayed in ketosis the less vegetables kicked me out -- just my n=1.
Phenomenal. Where did William Curtis get his understanding of biochemistry. As a physician who advocates for a Carnivore ketogenic diet I’ve been hoping for one either Parkinson’s disease to take the bait a get on a ketogenic diet. This does not surprise me the success you have had. Thanks Dr. Ginge
I’m starting carnivore myself and noticing many benefits although I don’t have Parkinson’s. I have a step sister that does have advanced Parkinson’s that I will be passing this interview on to. Hoping she will be interested enough to try it.
Thank you so much for this encouraging testimonial! According to your recommendation l will charge my bullet proof coffee more, l used one tablespoon of butter and mct oil, now l will try your recipe. Thank you from the heart! Wishing you all the best, keep it rolllin‘🤗❤️
Grateful to have run into this video as I have a family member that was just diagnosed with Parkinson's. May we please have an update on William (Bill). I'd love to see how he is doing and what improvements have come since this video. The URL for the fourthfoodgroup is not active. Thank you in advance.
Solve the metabolic re:insulin resistance imbalances ..if PD is related to the varga nerve, then it is related to the gut, of course it will be influenced by diet ....been waiting for this video
Tq so much Mr Curtis for all the detailed explanation.. My Dad is having parkinson.. And I have some symptoms since very small kid, did not realize it has anything to do with parkinson. Tq so much. May God bless u n family abundantly Sir..
It's amazing seeing yet another testament to the power of diet! You should try getting Angela Stanton on the show. She advocates for a high fat low Carb diet to prevent Migraines! I just finished her book, "Fighting the Migraine epidemic" and she has a truly fascinating theory on the subject.
Nice to hear this. I am from the Philippines, i have Parkinson disease since 2019 my only medicine prescribed is Levodopa no other means, but i am interested to know what is keto diet, i have not heard it in the Philippines. Thank you
Please research Dr. Berg in you tube, google and lots of Filipino are doing keto now. I am loving this lifestyle I’ve lost my indigestion, and my husband as well and his headache. My blood pressure are normal. Health are all good report from blood test. I wished I knew this 7 years ago cos my mum passed away from Parkinson’s and diabetes. I’m changing the history of my family background of diabetes, blood pressures, stroke and Parkinson’s and influence my kids to go low carbs/keto for a healthy happy life. Pls reply to this message that you are already doing low carbs too. Sending love ❤️ from Australia
Thank you so much You are so Educated about the parkinson , complexly different approach very impressive, Do please give the name of all You are taking; meds, supplements or nutritions you do take. What is Ketone Extra you are taking, and where to buy it,do please respond.
Excellent information.. he talks about fasting in very short terms and ketone production dropping off as you get more fit. My question is what does longer term fasting (3,5,7 day and longer provide)if any?
Thanks for your video! Can I suggest revising the statement "80 to 90% of your food as fat" since it gives some, who may not understand, the impression that a plate of food would appear to be 80-90% fat (rather than calories).
I'm doing keto and my elderly mum has Parkinson's but she's locked-in to her medications routine. She has to have breakfast, granola with cornflakes, to satisfy the tablet requirements - take with food. She loves chopped banana for tea, with greek yoghurt and honey. But she insists on cheap honey that's sugary. I'd love to enable her to reduce the sugary carbs.
Freaking amazing video... and holy guacamole at about 45 minutes in Mike he started to sound like you and I am so very impressed with him also... PS Mike I love your patience
Hi Mike, another great video. I have a friend with PD to whom I’ve suggested the Ketogenic Diet after my own success with halting the painful electrical seizures I used to experience in my leg. I’m sure he and his wife will be very interested in this first hand experience.
Sue, I'd love to know more about your experience. I have PLMD - my legs jump at night, a form of minor torture, at times like electric jolts. Is this anything like your symptom? Have not tried keto diet... lizandhercat@gmail.com
I'll PM you Lizandhercat, it sounds similar in that it was electrical/neurological in its nature and it affected lower leg (one only for me). It was like MAJOR torture and extremely specific, occuring always and only ever in one specific area.
I lost my father to Parkinson 18 yrs ago. I've studied Metabolicly sourced disease for 30 years. Wish I had Dad back today as I'm confident we could improve his condition significantly.
I have lived with Parkinson's for almost 14 years. For the first 12 years I relied on meds only...no exercise and no diet strategy what so ever. I ballooned to 325lbs at 5'11" which made my balance and mobility problems more profound. I would be lucky to have the use of my legs for more than 3-4 hours per day. I decided that I wasn't going to simply lay in my recliner and give up. I started watching what I ate, and began exercising. After about a year and a half I have now lost 140lbs and counting. I have fine tuned my diet, including a keto approach and the introduction of mannitol. If you haven't done your research on mannitol, I suggest you look into it. This combination (keto & mannitol) has resulted in dramatic changes to my physical condition, and maybe more important, my outlook on life has drastically improved. And ask anyone who has the disease, the psychological fight is every bit as important as the physical fight PD wages on your body every day.
Vegetables are carbohydrates. The way he talks about restricting carbohydrates it seems to me that we are talking primarily about refined flour and sugar products. For example he referred to the bad effects of Gatorade. On the other hand vegetables are okay. I'm curious where beans fit into this. Red beans black beans soybeans all kinds of beans. They are high in antioxidants and I think they are probably very good for the brain and the gut. But they are also carbohydrates and you wouldn't be eating them if you were following for example the Atkins diet.
The doctor Constantini research in 2021 on high dose thiamin, vitamin B1 has helped 1000s of PD sufferers, with up to 70% improvements in symptoms in some people. Our cells are literally made up of what we eat❤
We all should be. I fee like we should understand how something works before you use it Such as a computer but that usually isn’t the case Before you sit on a couch how was it built and could you rebuild it.
Jk, is that really all you have to say @ this incredibly helpful interview & what this man, not "guy", has been through, tested, observed & offers. At 17 years he's doing phenomenally well.
Losing body fat greatly reduces insulin resistance by reversing hyperinsulinemia. Eating the ketogenic diet reverses the hyperinsulemia cycle that ramps up when eating too many carbs. Not eating carbs & increasing fat intake burns truncal obesity & reverses fatty liver, which improves insulin sensitivity by reducing the fat storage.
Many Thanks for the informative interview with your guest, sharing his valuable experiences. The way you enforce the sponcors ads in the middle is quite disturbing

Wow, is this man a science teacher? he looks as if he has our friend stumped with his true knowledge!.thank you for this video. God Bless you, your here for a reason sir, to spread your word and life story. Your very intelligent for a man who had been diagnosed with Parkinson's
He knows his stuff!
Thanks,
Mike
Guys, HERE is The Savior
YaH The Heavenly FATHER (Genesis 1) HIMSELF was Who they Crucified/Pierced for our sins and “HERE IS THE PROOF”
From the Ancient Semitic:
"Yad He Vav He" is what Moshe (Moses) wrote, when Moses asked YaH His Name (Exodus 3)
Ancient Semitic Direct Translation
Yad - "Behold The Hand"
He - "Behold the Breath"
Vav - "Behold The NAIL"
Please share this people. You never know who needs to see this.
agree, my mum is on 7th year of Parkinson type 2, if only we found keto fasting diet faster, my mum wont be this worse
Those words teared me up
Don’t know how this popped up, being that it’s a few years old-but I am so grateful I got to see it. I have a dear loved one with Parkinson’s, and am trying to learn all I can about the disease, in hopes of helping. ❤
Massively helped me and reversed mt symptoms also check out dr constantine and daphne bryan for vitb1 therapy on you tube... life changing!
Mr Curtis knows more science than most scientists. Brilliant. And is able to explain the chemistry for the laymen. I will share with friends with PD. Some of us are taking NMN to increase NADH+ Recent research on this will probably help. Thank you for this!
William you are amazing in so many ways. The bravery and resilience inspires me
Excellent Video Mike. I hope a lot of people see this!
I think the coconut oil is the key
Please give us an update

Thank you so much for posting!! I'm very eager to share with my dad who has Parkinson's
can u provide updates about your dad's condition now...how following this diet has changed his life...
How is your dad now
Amazing! This story gives me hope for the future. Keto is the way to health!
Love you Mike.....Thanks for all your hard work and wonderful information.....stay committed please......
I am so happy for this man I could cry.
Amazing, what a blessing to us you are Mike! Thank you for finding these people and moving this information into our minds and hearts. May the Lord richly bless and multiply your efforts.
Dr Chaffee put his dad on carnivore diet. parkinsons gone 4 years plus...
AWESOME 👌
Please explain where and how to find this cure for me the somple guy
I have 2 great friends with Parkinson's. I will share this with them. I was wondering about Keto and Parkinson's, but this is the first time I've seen a video on YT bringing the 2 together. Thanks.
This video and the Ted Naiman video were really good.
Honestly, I do not know. Is there a connection?
I've always worried about my fillings, but I've had them in for about 32 yrs, with no symptoms of a neuro condition. I think I have 8. I've thought about having them removed, but I've heard that's risky too, and I'd probably have to foot the bill. How much was it for you?
Essere Io no. I used to have some white areas on my tongue years ago but that went away.
Thank You so much. Wonderful story of this gentleman taking control of
This guy is so honest! Said some things I would’ve been too embarrassed to say.
one should never be embarrassed
anthony simpson that's why I admire him:).
By far the most important interviews u have ever done.thank u
This is insanely interesting! Bill is highly intelligent and I am so happy for him that he's found solutions to keep his Parkinson's from progressing. The younger guy who is interviewing him is kind.
I wish I knew about keto before , when my Dad had Parkinsons .No-one in the Medical profession told us about ketones . This information provision platform is priceless and the providers are helping people in a wonderful way ....thank you .
this guy sounds a lot SMARTER than most of the DOCTOR videos I've watched!
Who told you doctors are smart? I haven't met many.
I wonder if this gentleman is a Doctor or a Chemist! He is very knowledgeable especially with the scientific terms! God bless him! This is a good video to share with those who have Parkinson's and others who are carb addicts plagued with inflammation.
This makes me cry!. Healing is on the way
There seems to be some things I don't know. Thank you for a great video.
Wow, thank you for this interview!
Todd Studer Thank you Todd that is good to know. How do you test that? Thanks for your help!
Rhonda Pancoast I test by both blood on the Freestyle and breath.on the Ketonix, but the levels I was referring to are the blood testing results.
This is the most amazing video I've ever watched MG,RN
Half way through - absolutely brilliant.
Thank you so much for this encouraging testimonial! According to your recommendation l will charge my bullet proof coffee more, l used one tablespoon of butter and mct oil, now l will try your recipe. Thank you from the heart! Wishing you all the best, keep it rolllin‘🤗❤️
I'm so happy for you, Mr. Curtis. Yeah.

@@lowellherried403 That appears to be a different William Curtis.
Thanks.. Seems so complicated.. The key time stamps are very helpful
I bet he would improve more getting off the petrochemicals that are prescribed.
William Curtis , what a genius !! Great interview! Thanks HIH !!
It's amazing seeing yet another testament to the power of diet! You should try getting Angela Stanton on the show. She advocates for a high fat low Carb diet to prevent Migraines! I just finished her book, "Fighting the Migraine epidemic" and she has a truly fascinating theory on the subject.
I wonder if the pork rinds he ate were deepfried in seed oils rather then renderd fat
I’ve had my diagnose about a year ago, I want to know more about this. What was the website he mentioned?
This will help many people
Amazing testimony!
This was so helpful. Thank you. Many thanks.
Great interview! Thank you so much!

Great interview. I'm sharing this on other social platforms! Thanks for what you're doing and best of health to William!
Thank you so much You are so Educated about the parkinson , complexly different approach very impressive, Do please give the name of all You are taking; meds, supplements or nutritions you do take. What is Ketone Extra you are taking, and where to buy it,do please respond.
Great interview Mike!!! Keep up the good work.
What an amazing story! Would love to see some formal studies done on this topic.
It won't sell meds, so none will study.
Hi mike, do you have an update on this gentleman
Excellent information.. he talks about fasting in very short terms and ketone production dropping off as you get more fit. My question is what does longer term fasting (3,5,7 day and longer provide)if any?
Thanks for your video! Can I suggest revising the statement "80 to 90% of your food as fat" since it gives some, who may not understand, the impression that a plate of food would appear to be 80-90% fat (rather than calories).
You are a great interviewer, but the background music is too loud. Thanks for this video! :)
It would be wonderful if you could follow up with him with an interview in 2024
I'm doing keto and my elderly mum has Parkinson's but she's locked-in to her medications routine. She has to have breakfast, granola with cornflakes, to satisfy the tablet requirements - take with food.
She loves chopped banana for tea, with greek yoghurt and honey. But she insists on cheap honey that's sugary.
I'd love to enable her to reduce the sugary carbs.
Look up thiamine and Parkinson on RUclips
Thanks for yours information. compliments from Portugal. Good blees both.
Thank you for sharing.
Freaking amazing video... and holy guacamole at about 45 minutes in Mike he started to sound like you and I am so very impressed with him also... PS Mike I love your patience
Can someone please provide a working link for the fourth food group? Thanks!
@@lizandhercat1618 I take ropinirol for that and it works great but you have to take it few hours before bed depending on the amt of food in your gut.
Sorry, I know you wrote this years ago but what improvements have you seen and how are you doing now?
Vegetables are carbohydrates. The way he talks about restricting carbohydrates it seems to me that we are talking primarily about refined flour and sugar products. For example he referred to the bad effects of Gatorade. On the other hand vegetables are okay. I'm curious where beans fit into this. Red beans black beans soybeans all kinds of beans. They are high in antioxidants and I think they are probably very good for the brain and the gut. But they are also carbohydrates and you wouldn't be eating them if you were following for example the Atkins diet.
I wish I had found out about this years ago.
The doctor Constantini research in 2021 on high dose thiamin, vitamin B1 has helped 1000s of PD sufferers, with up to 70% improvements in symptoms in some people.
Our cells are literally made up of what we eat❤
At the 49 minute point, the guy being interviewed suddenly shows he is very knowledgeable about cell bio-chemistry!
We all should be. I fee like we should understand how something works before you use it
Such as a computer but that usually isn’t the case
Before you sit on a couch how was it built and could you rebuild it.
Jk, is that really all you have to say @ this incredibly helpful interview & what this man, not "guy", has been through, tested, observed & offers. At 17 years he's doing phenomenally well.
Hi and thx a lot for the video 😊. Do you have a link for keton diet som are easy to follow 😊?
Thanks in advance 😊.
amazing story - thank you for sharing the power of keto Mike =)
KETO BOB-OMB )jnhhbb
Hi there. Can we get an update on Bill's website. The link no longer works!
Interesting, but please the background music is to loud so couldn't hear properly,😃
KETO ROCKS!
Gluconeogenesis is a matter of insulin sensitivity and the ability to utilize amino acids
Siim Land bro....Have you noticed any relationship between Ketosis and Parkinsons.... In your research work...
18:20 all the puzzle pieces are coming together about why exercise works so great at first then much less so
Use immersion blender, thx for sharing
Many Thanks for the informative interview with your guest, sharing his valuable experiences. The way you enforce the sponcors ads in the middle is quite disturbing
Does anyone have any more information on the link betwen Vitamin C, Vitamin E and NADPH?
