Jagex tricked botters into reporting themselves

- In the end of 2010 to early 2011, Jagex started silently rolling out XP rollbacks to botting accounts. However, the process wasn't as smooth as expected. To fix the minor issues, Jagex asked the bots to report themselves for a thorough review.
The video is written by Will Miss It and CS1.

Wait I'm really confused. If the accounts already got the stat rollback, they were identified as botters. If they submit a bug report, what exactly are they doing to harm themselves?
The system automatically reset botters, and from what I could gather, Jagex didn't have a surefire way to tell who had been receiving said rollback after it had been done. When it became clear there was a series of mistakes with the rollback (XP left over, items and achievements that made no sense with their new levels) they told the rolled back accounts to send in a bug report to ensure these items were taken away.
Essentially reporting themselves for a thorough review
@@rswillmissit they could have just used the discrepancy of the total xp vs combined skill xp to query there db's and give a fat list of everyone who got rolledback. im still confused as to why they had to do this.
@@rswillmissit That is some seriously bad programming lol. The system could have automatically put them on a list too, but no.

Funny thing about that is you can easily purchase surplus military vehicles in the UK. As long as the weaponry is deactivated you're fine. Pretty strange considering firearms and now drones are more tightly regulated there. Even disgruntled protestors can easily get their hands on an armored vehicle if they want to make a point. The Jagex tank probably only has a price in the lower-mid tens of thousands at most. Tanks with a turret tend to command much higher prices but are still easily obtainable if you have the cash.

I wonder if anyone's ever messed up a pure acc by levelling defence, then botted def to get the skill rolled back
I feel like you did
Yeah people used to do it to have b gloves on pures
I had my pure account hijacked and leveled up defence, jagex helped me get back my account but didnt roll back anything, i left the game for good that day, never played it ever since. Specially because i had a very strong password and i didn't place or write it ANYWHERE meaning that there must have been an actual exploit to log into other people's accounts and jagex instead of investigating this possibility denied it being the case straight away telling me to be careful where i put my password and all that sorts of crap.
@@revenantghost724 Did you remember to tell jagex your brother got on your pc and began to hack with software you didn't know existed?
@@lillemy5062 i have no brothers and I am the only one having access to my computer, stop blindly defending jagex without knowing the facts. Runeacape is a bug-fest, over the years from gp dupes to getting into other people's accounts jagex failed miserably and repeatedly, and my pure account was victim of their run of the mill bug which allowed someone to steal it.
my friend got reset to lvl 10 in lots of stats but still had unlocked turmoil, vengeance, korasi, barrows gloves + every other quest. He had to get 95 prayer again but he kept 10 defence and had a monster account
I had one of those as well. The account itself was worth truck loads of money on the black market, cuz they just completely destroyed pures and zerkers in the same combat bracket.
Getting level 99 Prayer legitimately through the church spot was ironically the most difficult thing that I have ever done.
The difficult thing with RS is that most bots just do the same thing(s) for hours, or even days on end.
But in RS that's what normal players do too.
Their detection system checks for more than that, like mouse movements and so on.
It's basically impossible for a human to click the same exact pixel each time they go to click on something for hours straight, as an example.
@@hatad321 It is basically trivial for a bot to randomize the location they click so that they are not detected by that.
A sufficient sophisticated bot is indistinguishable from a very dedicated human for any automated process. Sure, you could distinguish them by doing an investigation by several humans with a lot of statistics and several people to remove biases, but for an automated general process? Not, you still will get legitimate player banned or get sophisticated bots not banned, depending on how harsh or lenient the system is.
I know because i had to deal with this in both ends of the spectrum, i had to deal with bots at my workplace and i had to create a macro system for an idiot familiar that did not take a not as a response and i did not want discord, the idiot was so unskilled that he was not able to do a simple rotation on a MMO, so i had to create a macro system that let him do the 3 different rotations with one button each.
It was trivial to make it undetectable by randomizing the times, the clicks, adding random errors, randomizing the very own margins of errors and more. It was undetectable unless they installed spyware specifically made to detect my system that only he had, even some humans where more bot like than that macro system. He never got banned.
I had to deal with bots at my workplace in an e-commerce platform that was being runner down by scalpers. And... it was hard as fuck, some people be very bot like and some bots be very people-like, at the end we had to accept that some scalpers bots are just too sophisticated and just deal with the more simple ones, plus restricting how much units you can buy without doing a telephone call with us.
TL;DR: It is not hard to code-in human-like precission and human-like error in a botting software if you want to evade detection, and some humans can be very robot like. So you either accept catching only the less sophisticated bots, you accept blaming legitimate users as bots or you accept having to oversee the whole situation case by case by specially trained people.
Sometimes it is hard even for humans to differentiate people from software, for software itself it is even harder to make that distinction.
@@diablo.the.cheater I think accepting the fact that you catch the less sophisticated bots only is good enough since those are the bots that are in bigger numbers since those bots are either cheap or sometimes free. Still reduces the numbers of botters to manageable numbers.
Also movement is not the only thing that keeps count.
Having people be logged on 90% of the time in an entire week (although some people keep bots working 24/7) with non stop activity kind of gives it away too, no matter how human like your movements are.
So if you have a bot that plays human like and farms the amount a normal human would then it kind of defeats the purpose of paying an expensive bot that is not efficient.
@@Arkuzian You can have multiple bots but rotating at what time they play, making it a 24/7 undetectable.
OP yeah and you get high xp from the starter dungeon, so there's no reason to go anywhere else except boredom or curiosity.
This reminds me of the time i pirated a 3d modeling software, but I was having some errors and went to the forums to ask about it. Turns out the error only happened to pirated software, and reporting it would basically rat you out. Luckily I found this out before reporting the error lol
same thing happened with one of those batman games. There was a weird glitch that happened with batman's cape but only on the pirated version lol
that is just evil
The problem with such things is that sometimes the DRM throws a tantrum and hits you even if you paid.
The trading limit times were dark, really dark times.
Killed the game
I remember during trade limit times you could purchase Phats in the grand exchange for next to nothing. Dark times indeed. And the junk trades..... oh boy. “Lending ags 250k per hour” and you had to have a whole stack of junk items to swap for the cash in the trade window. Like junk potions or addy arrows p+ lol
How is the RS economy doing now? Also: if I want to play RS, do you recommend old or new?
@@the11382 Well botting and Grand Exchange are back so it's the same shit. At least in OSRS.
I was so excited for that ban! As a f2p way back then, it was nice seeing the Karamja docks cleared out. Actually being able to cut logs. Not fight for iron or mithril.
Don't forget the mining guild! No more conga line!
I feel like "fighting" over resources was one of the main issues botting was a problem, and even then, that is a GAME DESIGN issue. They would rather meticulously try and weed out the bots before thinking of the people affected by them.
Yeah, even I had to resort to some odd tactics to level up in guilds for levels. Jagex only made it worse when they also made XP rewarded on last hit for that skill instead of per hit! WHY?! The bots were skilled enough already at being relentless in that area for everything else! How could anyone make such a boring system to actually make the gameplay more usable?!

I think an easy fix would be to just move all botters to their own world and not allow trade with the actual player worlds. It would take the botters much longer to realize that something was wrong and would make their gold worthless on the real world market.

“ botting” during a period I wasn’t even active and I’ve literally never botted or broken rules
Right
@@RileyBanksWho right?
What funny is during the rollback if you had ever been reported for botting, you received a rollback. Even if you didn't bot. Due to me never subbing to many channels I see random yet interesting videos in my feed of, I watched an entire series following this one player, using time laps to speed through their play sessions, each session he showed and hovered over his skills, then played. When it got to the Era of the bot rollback he received 4 diffrent skill rollback, even though he had documented proof that he didn't bot and had to prove each time by legit linking his playlist of his character to Jager. Aka the plan wasn't fool proof and most likely a ton of legit players got hit by it too.
Fun fact, I rememver getting hit by this bs back in the day, never botted at that point, it was actually the reason why I botted after that.
Not anymore obviously but I wanted my legit levels back, if they screw players over then why shouldn't we screw them over?

I remember these times so well. The funny thing is that even though I never botted at all, I was still always paranoid that I'd get banned. I was just one of those very dedicated players that really hammered away for hours on end sometimes to get my capes and max my stats. I would have been so pissed if I would have been falsely banned and rolled back after hours on end of honest play, especially since their customer service sucked ass so bad and appeals were usually futile. I haven't played in many years so I'm not sure how things are now but back when I played dealing with their customer service was usually about as productive as talking to a brick wall.

@@ARM0RP0WERbonds just reached a max time high of 10m. As a f2p player its not hard to get one even for 10m. I already have 25m in f2p and started in October with lvl 1.
I don't see how this "rollback" could be used to differentiate between botters or not.
If a legitimate account (wrongfully) got hit with the rollback, of course they would report the error too, just like the cheating botters would do.
so again, I don't see how this could be used to identify botters, it only identifies the people who JAGEX has "decided" is botters.
It doesn't mark them as a cheater, reporting the bug would have marked your account for THOROUGH review. Jagex would make sure you weren't a bot, if you were well you know how that ends.
My dad played back in the day, he got hit by a rollback on dungeoneering, when he contacted them, they told him there was no way they can reinstate the exp lost and they apologise for the inconvenience, my dad didn't even know bot clients existed, he was ~50 at the time was one of the straws that made him quit.
@@Killerjerick Your dad lied to you kiddo. Accounts found to have been wrongly rolled back were reinstated normally, with plenty of proof all over the Jagex forums to show for it.
@@celarc99 Lol, no, he didn't, this is my eye witness account, I watched him grind dung, I witnessed his account rolled back, I watched him type to Jagex support and ask for his exp to be reinstated, I saw the reply which was a cold "Nah, don't wanna" and that's why he quit.
It’s easy to tell the difference between human interacting with a game vs a bot. Bots are really precise and follow and same movement/behavior every time. A human does errors, moves the mouse to much does a few miss clicks, has to sneeze so they look away for 2 seconds, need to use the bathroom so 1-10 minutes. No activity on the account…. Ect. Bots follow a script and don’t stray away from their commands. Very easy to tell
I remember a friend of mine's account got reset in a few combat stats and skills, he ended up with a slayer helm and barrows gloves under 85 combat (requirement to complete smoking kills quest 85cb) so jagex made him an impossible to create/unique account.
However he didn't want to be seen as a botter that was reset so he trained his stats back up.
Definitely an interesting time in the game.

I was a pure/pker that played a fair amount during the time of the rollbacks (obviously I didn't bot or get rolledback). However fair and legit pures like myself were at a huge disadvantage against the ones that had been reset because they had access to stuff like vengeance, turmoil ancient curses, barrows gloves, etc all at a much lower level than they would have been able to normally. In fact I believe you can even see on some of the images shown in this video that some people were actually trying to get a rollback to have this advantage. Obviously eventually they figured stuff like this out better for the most part and probably used part of that knowledge when making guy in lumbridge able to reset some peoples stats by choice (like Will) in some scenarios like after the combat level calculation change.
I used to do skilling speedruns with friends where we would try to get a skill to 99 as fast as possible. We had a coiuple accounts banned for no reason because we had timers set when certain things would respawn. The bot nuke was in 2011...
And there is bot spam everywhere. If you go to lumbridge or ge in every world theres like 5 bots advertising scam websites.
Also jagex still doesnt do their best to stop bots. Because they currently make like half of their income from bots so they make it so bots can still make profit but do get banned eventually so its worth it for the bots to buy membership and jagex can make more money. Like the Virtual mouses every bot uses could be detectable with just a couple lines of code but yet theres bots that last months using them. But jagex is just a company with the sole purpose to make money. And their quite smart about the bot problem as it currently isnt all out of hand not causing alot of real players to quite because of them and jagex can maximize the profits

Yes, I have had a 3 day ban for botting 8 years ago, no perma ban. Do I think there is some solution to at least a portion of botting? Yes, the recent trailblazer league was so much fun for me. I love Jagex's attempt to trick us into thinking they want to get rid of all bots. They don't. they are too much of a goldmine for them.
I'm pretty sure Jagex lets the botters run around for a month or so before banning them. They wont immediately ban because they want that 10 dollar fee. After that they will erase the account and the botter will just make a new account and pay again. This is how Jagex makes a good chunk of change on the side.
@@nolchannel4950 who was talking about membership though?:p
They make it easier for low level players to get into the game by making the prices equal. Look at rs3 & for example the raw fish vs the cooked fish & see the difference. unless you have some cash to spare it's a difficult start. Not to mention gold farmers make a lot of people stay in the game as they can simply buy gold for a bond & get membership that way for FAR cheaper than buying bonds/membership to Jagex. And BTW, not all bots use twitch prime. Most do but definitely not all of them.
RS3 doesn't hurt too much from botting as they got TH & most of the players are near maxed but it would hurt a game like OSRS because all the low tier resources would be insanely priced due to limited supply. Which will scare off new players & lose them more in the long run.

This doesnt really make any sense, why would Jagex need people who their system already 'detected' as bots and did actual resets on need them to report themselves? There is no chance that they didn't keep some sort of of "list" in their database which collects all the users who had any stats reset due to botting.
Yeah but that database wouldnt be able to tell the difference between gold farmers and normal players who botted too. This targeted normal players who botted too.
So what you need to do is bot your account until jagex notices and hope you get stat reset to fix your skiller?
Dude that's big brain
They don't do stat resets anymore.
I botted during the level reset times. I never knew about or cared about any of this background stuff. I literally had like 10 bots cutting trees and when they would get reset randomly I would just go "Oh well they must be resetting botted levels instead of banning now" then I sent the bot back to do lower level skills for half a day before sending it back into higher level stuff. Every single account that botted is banned now though. But back then I did not care about the level resets.
I never sent in bug reports because I just assumed it was punishment for botting because my main accounts I was not botting on never got reset.

Bot-only worlds would actually be kinda cool IMO. Instead of competing by playing, you compete by making better bots than the other players. There would be much less incentive for real world trading though so it might not be as popular unless people were sent there against their will
Bot only worlds? It's called F2p lol
I think as gamers we need to be conscious of when we’re actually having fun playing a game versus playing it because we’re addicted in a way and grinding long after the fun has stopped just to get to a goal that will quickly be replaced by another. This is one of the reasons I’m against botting, it’s immature. When the time comes when you’re getting something else to play a game so you don’t have to you really need to stop and question why you’re even “playing” this game in the first place. Games should be fun, we shouldn’t let companies or ourselves take the fun out of them, because both will given the chance.
Yep, exactly this

What's macro/botting that ban dosent even make sence, was notified by jagex themselves botting or macroing is having the pc play for you, legit they taught me how to cheat and wrongfully banned my acct so I started a bot army and they make my main acct money while I play my main acct without the need to grind gp, so their ban of 1 legitimate account just in turn made about 70 bots lmfao and they all still work 😂😂 never been caught, so how can they ban legit players but then can't catch my literally army of bots?

I had a couple accounts rolled back at this time.
I was young and botting was fun to be honest.
Between bottling and staking, the game was soured for me many times.
Luckily, playing an Ironman has renewed my love for the game. Achievements, levels and drops are valuable to me now.
I got rolled back once, I wasn't botting, I had never botted up to that point. I did bot after that but only to raise my skill that got reset for basically no reason.
I was training firemaking, I started around level 60. I had the money to get to 99 but not the will power to do so. Bonfires weren't a thing at the time.
So I did what any stupid young person would have. I asked a good friend to help me level my firemaking skill up. She said she would and we got to grinding away.
I'd play on my account 1 day, her the next. We got it all the way up to about 93. I logged in the next day and all the sudden the firemaking skill was at 15.
I asked her if she botted at all, she said no. I didn't at the time either so I was super confused. I got very discouraged and stopped playing for a while. Then one day, while browsing RUclips I saw a video pop up.
I was basically looking up RuneScape videos and came across a bot video. It linked to a bot, so I decided why not. I downloaded it (powerbot or epicbot) and started using it. I got back to elvel 70 firemaking and decided that was good enough.
But the rush from never getting caught got me. So I started botting other things, and more things. It's a really bad rabbit hole of progressing on a game I had enjoyed for a long time with little to no work.
Overall botting ruined my experience and I have since quit playing. I may return one day, but at this point I kinda doubt it.
I actually remember this happening to a friend that botted to 99 fishing got reset to 1 I believe.
Happened to me, I botted 10 99s and they were reset to 92. Thought I had eventually been caught and just rolled with it, after all I had some free 92s
@@Asfixiator7 Can't say I see the appeal of botting, but.. At least it worked out?
I botted for the first time for literally 6-8 hours, a few months before the introduction of Botany Bay (got to Lvl 80 Hunter), as I just play RS for the quests and social interactions, not the skilling. And then got a 2 day ban, and ALL my level 99's reduced to Level 98, all other stats reduced by just 1 level, including Hunter was just reduced by 1 level oddly enough, if I recall correctly.
Tbh, I have been playing ever since and never botted after that, I was just glad I didn't lose my account permanently.
so, they didn't report themselves, they just sent in a bug report after being flagged as botters
"They didn't bot bro" Ok buddy.
exactly my thought, completly different from what the video title claims...
The problem i experienced playing against rollplayers is their 1def pures being able to use curse prayers turmoil barrows gloves it was fudged
0:59 "Oh, hi Mark"
I had some accounts I did a mix of legit and botting on that got busted and rolled back and their estimations of what needed to be rolled back for skills/items/cash was way off. this was probably around 2011/12 or so. I kept a large percentage of botted xp and cash. I don't get the impression theyve ever had a system in place to accurately tell. so I'm positive several of those accounts actually were legit and unfairly rolled back
I got a minor stat rollback for botting (I only botted very grindy things, and never sold what I got). I got it having my WC cape equipped. I got my WC lvl set back to 98. I ran around with my cape and said in QC my WC lvl, even when I knew it was because I botted.
I was a hard core botter. Even fixed old scripts (updated) some to work for myself. None of this stuff worked right lmao. Jagex reset my skills once and they reset like 5% of what I had botted. Then I got banned because I kept botting lmao. But I botted TONS of accounts.
The legal battle helped jagex eliminate most bots giving them time to focus on the botter left. And custom botter. I can say you will get banned now for just macros that work like-a-bot. Which is great.
The bot nuke didnt stop the best botters.
I remember when they had random mini games that interrupted the game. Seemed kind of fun to me. I recently installed it on steam to see if the mini games were still a thing. Nope, no mini games. I played without using my keyboard and someone thought I was a bot because I wouldn't talk to them.
I used to bot on my main account. Ended up getting caught, got a 2 week account suspension and a 1 month suspension from using the GE. After that my account went completely back to normal, no exp rollback or anything. I think it was one of their desperate attempts to keep a paying player as I had spent a lot of money on cosmetics, bonds and memberships. So my punishment was extremely mild. But seeing as I did not bot as much as other might have I can understand their thinking.
"cheating scum will be banned" how ironic from such a company how ironic
I was part of that beginning, I was botting in 2007, I started off tanning cow hides or picking potatoes then would move on to nature rune running making around 250$ a day before they managed to stop me permanently.
I got rolled back twice, had all dung items at 92 dung. Even had a korasi sword at 1 summoning which was super fun to troll people in the wilderness with. Man the good ol days.
I did bot sometime in 2010-2012 dont know exactly which it was and only for a couple months. Eventually i logged in with an empty bank and thought jagex must have done that but it was probably the botting client that used my login details. Good ol EpicBot days man. They were kinda fun but im so verry happy that its over now. Funny thing is, the economy is now inflating fast af. With the bots the prices of everything went down and now everything goes up. Who knows what will happen next?
I have to say, it's a great point to bring up that a large amount of revenue was cut due to bot nuke, potentially resulting in the MTX we have today on RS3. Whereas OSRS, which has a big bot problem, can't do the same thing as that was one of the major promises of that game. Gives you something to think about, deal with MTX but less botting or have zero MTX but have your economy ruined by bots.
Very true. Though keeo in mind MTX on RS3 accounts for around half of all of Jagex revenue. Oldschool is or was considered funded by it. I don't know how much of the overall revenue would be affected assuming bots were removed.
OSRS doesn't need MTX. They have twisted bow worth 1b or whatever, which plenty of kids will buy bonds to afford.
Awesome video, I just found your channel! I was/am super impressed with how they handled the bots back then, but I never knew about the stat resets and the "confessions" that followed- 1000 iq move on Jagexs part. Now though It's starting to seem like we're about due for another nuke, we really need that old hardline stance back.
Very interesting - I actually never knew about this. :o
The nostalgia I got from hearing this music love the video keep up the great work
9 years ago i botted. and got the hammer, still baffels me that it was only a few day ban and a few stat rollbacks
I went through a year and a half long process of getting an account back that had been hacked and botted.
Now I have a random account with 99 hunter and no items on it...
Wow. Eoc looks crazy. Kinda made me want to log in haha
Give it a go! Let me know how goes!
Yikes EOC
I'm still mad I was incorrectly banned for bottling. Never did it. They insisted I did, they insisted they had proof, but refused to display their proof. After 10 years I gave it another shot and it was appealed, but obviously after that I am not going to buy a membership.
That is actually incredibly scummy as it is the definition of NOT being transparent with your customers.
Ive been playin runescape for 13 years and still am playing runescape 3 but seeing this made me so nostalgic
I haven’t really done to much bad crap in RuneScape, only thing was once I messed around with a gambling bot and then met the ring leader of one of the biggest GE gambling bots.
"Spurguturku" torilla tavataan!
I've forgotten the name for the specific song played at 8:30 and forwards and I am now desperate to find out because I love it. It *feels* dungeoneering related, but I just can't figure it out D;
It's called "Daemonheim Fremenniks" :-)
@@rswillmissit Amazing, thanks a bunch! :D
I remember them doing it before that in 2d... Used to set my bot to randomly say "whats up?" and walk around a bit between actions.. don't remember it exactly but i think a mod would tp to you to check and this kept em movin
I used to play religiously as a teenager many years ago, that it started to have real world consequences. I then botted, which seemed to solve the problem a bit, until my account got an outright (lifetime?) ban. I since haven't cheated in any online or multiplayer game, but it succeeded in turning me away from RS forever. It's a shame, because I'd like to give the game an honest try, but I don't think I could ever get into the game again, even if I was allowed to; far too many years have passed.
I remember this, i was botting fletching from 80ish to 99. But my shit got rolled back way lower than it should have been. I still had the 99 cape. But i was under no assumption that this was a bug. I knew it was a form of punishment but still that did not stop me from at least trying to appeal. But that didnt work. I later used this account to bot for profit rather than a skill cape. And ultimately got banned permanently but not before i made hundreds of dollars. Today im running a small operation of 20 accounts each making me around 3 dollars a day. These accounts have not been banned in years, i cant reveal what exactly im doing but its combat related.
Hey dude this was a sweet video! Been busy.. makes me want to hop on. Thanks for this
Ah yes the days of 70 different players running to the same yew tree at the same time outside the GE.
I remember purposely botting with an auto typer saying I'm botting report me just so I could get the stat rollback I believe it was 10 defense 10 attack and some odd stats reduced.
Just so I could use Barrows gloves, turmoil and soulsppit, vengeance at a way lower combat level that's pretty much impossible without the rollback due to quest requirements.
There's still some videos on RUclips of these 10 defense accounts with turmoil and veng
yeah you arent the smartest person in the world. THANK YOU FOR CLARIFYING THAT I HAVE TO GET MY INFORMATION ELSEWHERE NOW!!
Hahaha!
The closing is gold.
This isn't the first company to do this; I've seen a few videos that mentioned companies that tricked cheaters into reporting themselves... I struggle to remember exactly. Maybe Minecraft, GTA V Online, CoD, H1Z1 or Fortnite - maybe none of them. The story I recall was a bit more ruthless: apologize for cheating and we'll forgive you... *posts apologies on the internet & continues to ban every cheater*.
Pretty sure it couldn't have been Minecraft, as cheating may be allowed in some servers (Mojang doesn't care, it's up to each server to monitorize and make rules)

What’s the edit called where the video blurs and only certain text stands out?
Trying to learn to edit better
I'm not sure if it's got a specific name.. The blur itself is called a gussian blur, but is only added onto items that gets blurred out.
@@rswillmissit aight thanks
That's very fitting of runescape.
I tried botting once for like 10 minutes and got banned for 14 days only. I dont know if it was because of my silly fake appeal message of my friend logging in and i didnt know what happened or there was a time when it wasnt instant perma ban.
Crazy enough my account was one of those falsely banned, it got unbanned 12 years later, last year in fact.
Wait... So i was a victim of the rollback without having botting :O and i didn't even know that ! I even pay the amount to get my account back cause i was soo scare to lost everything. I tough i got hack :O I guess doing archery for 34h hour in a row is call botting and not been dedicated to get my first freaking cape :O
so is there any legitimate way to appeal an account that got banned for macroing even if it was the result of said account being compromised? My old main account that I had played on on/off again for years got banned in dec. of 2019 for supposedly macroing in osrs (I had hardly touched osrs and I pretty much exclusively played rs3) that account had a huge history for me and it devastated me when I tried to log into it after a couple month period of not playing and seeing the "you are banned" message
